Facebook App Live
So the Facebook app is now out of developer mode. If you're a Facebook user and want to check it out, it can be accessed (when you're logged in at Facebook) at http://apps.facebook.com/fourdown.
If you've already got an account here, you can link your accounts up. Just put your username in and it'll send you an email with a confirmation link. Once you've done that, you just have to reload the app and everything should work!
Many thanks to Gavin Vincent, who runs an awesome ColdFusion/Facebook blog. I used his example app as a starting point and it was a huge help. He's also been nice enough to respond to some questions that I sent him on Facebook. :)

Had to make the "leave comments" in the Facebook app load the comment screen in the frame. On the regular site, it pops open in a window. That screws with stuff in the app since the site gets out of sync with itself when part of it's open in a window (where window.self == window.top) and another part is in the frame. Another update.. If you've added the app to your profile, and you've already been ranked.. before, I was basically assigning your rank from 1-500 to 2008, then 501-1000 to 2007, and so on until 1991 (the earliest PWI 500 list). I've changed it so instead if you're ranked #1, you get the PWI #1 wrestler from 2008, and if you're #2, you get the PWI #1 wrestler from 2007, and so on down to 1991, at which point #19 gets #2 from 2008. (I may have gotten my math wrong here but the code is correct, promise!) I think that makes it a little cooler. Otherwise, being ranked #501 would get you #1 from 2007, hardly something you deserve!
