4-UP - Fantasy Sports Entertainment Game - Will WWE Superstars be included?
Well, hey, this one's actually just a question to all of you! Do you want WWE Superstars on WGN to be included?
I'm leaning towards NOT including it - primarily because a lot of people don't even get the channel (myself included, as far as I know - I'm in NYC on Time Warner Cable). I'd prefer to keep it to Raw, Smackdown, ECW, a PPV for the week if there's one happening.
Saturday Night's Main Event and Tribute to the Troops were shows I had originally thought I would include, but upon further thought, those are typically taped in advance and might complicate the process of choosing your rosters.
I did make the system detailed enough where it CAN take into account other shows, if I opt to include them, but I think it makes sense to restrict it to the three brand shows and PPVs. And then ONLY if a show is actually shown LIVE on TV, it could be included.
But I would like to get some feedback from all the players. I really doubt it'll be a problem for anyone not to include Superstars, but if enough people respond otherwise, I'm happy to change my stance. :)
The game is still set to launch pretty early on in season 5. (season 5 begins the Saturday after TNA's Lockdown) I'm not QUITE done with it, but I think it'll be good enough to go in a few weeks. Fully expecting bugs to pop up, but hey, it's just me building and testing it, so that'll just be par for the course!

I'm considering it but tracking Raw, Smackdown, and ECW each week is already going to be a lot of work. If including Superstars means sacrificing quality, I'm not going to hesitate to not use those matches. I would like to, though, because it's almost like a bonus show where any guy from any brand might get a televised match. So we'll see.. Posted on April 17, 2009 at 7:55 PM |

I agree with Cletus's comment in regards to Superstars would be a bonus show where anyone from any brand can and will just pop as we just saw from the first episode. It definitely would put a nice little twist in the fantasy game.
