Tons of Changes for 4-UP Fantasy Wrestling Game Launched

Lots and lots of changes on the site today.

First up, I noticed last night that I forgot to calculate the league averages for 4-UP.  So I wrote those scripts, then re-ran the scoring from last night.

Now, for the changes you'll see - the homepage has been changed a bit.  After adding the league averages for prediction games, that little slider for the rankings was getting clunky.  I created a new tab interface that's very basic but lets me easily have 6 tabs without it being crazy looking.

Underneath the updated prediction game rankings is the 4-UP rankings.  Top 10 users, leagues, and leagues by average.

The league page has been redesigned a bit.  It should be easier to see all the info on it now.

The users listing page has been changed to show 4-UP ranks, and you can sort by 4-UP rank.  Same thing on the seasons page - you can now see 4-UP ranks in there.  When we've gotten to the next season of 4-UP, the "Combined Seasons" will also work for 4-UP.

I think that's it for now..  I might work some more when I get home tonight, but I'll have to see.  The next big updates are going to be:

  • Email Alerts/Reminders for 4-UP, you'll be able to get emails when a new game week is starting, when you only have a day left to pick your rosters at the end of the week, and then when rankings are updated.
  • Need to build the window that says now "This is the future home of a window with your latest rankings for PPVs and the fantasy game. Woooo!" - it's going to show your latest rankings on items along with the name of the user who got 1st place on each item.
  • Need to update user pages so that your 4-UP rank is displayed.  Not sure if I'll make a 4-UP tab on the user page to show how you've been doing, but I probably will.
