For some reason, our automated emails (both when registering and any you've opted-in to receive for alerts) are not getting to every intended recipient.
This definitely seems to be affecting people whose email address ends with @yahoo.com, @roadrunner.com, and @aol.com - and surely there are others affected that I'm not aware of.
However, Google Mail accounts (@gmail.com) work perfectly, as do plenty of other mail providers. I'm not sure why this is happening - we don't get any errors about it.
I am working on it and hope to have it resolved soon. If you registered with this site but still haven't gotten your confirmation email, just contact me using the email address you signed up with and I'll get your account working. Sorry for the inconvenience! It's a thorn in my side right now!

Activation emails and other single-user emails should all be working now. They're getting routed through Google SMTP. Opt-in emails for alerts may not work for Yahoo, AOL, and other providers such as Road Runner, Comcast, and other ISPs. I'm working on a solution for this, where the opt-in emails all come from Constant Contact. Unfortunately it appears some people may have marked our emails as spam in Yahoo or elsewhere, even though every opt-in email requires you to OPT-IN (of course) and has a link at the bottom to quickly unsubscribe you from the emails. Please don't do this. I'd suggest everyone switch over to Google Mail if you're using Yahoo or any of those ISP-provided email addresses anyway. 3/4/10 5:35 PM |

Went live with a new mailing system today. Please leave a comment if you don't like it! Shouldn't really be much different, though. :) (though everyone should actually receive the emails now!) 3/16/10 5:47 PM |
