Just Saying...Post Wrestlemania stuff

cymru96

Ok, all over various forums and blogs and stuff, people have been hating on the Daniel Bryan vs Sheamus match. Yeah, I get their point, 18 seconds is quick. However, I'm firmly behind this move. The match was never going to be fight of the night and the length of it gave matches like the HiaC more time. Also, it gave the fans the sense that anything could happen tonight. Finally, it gives them a chance to have a rematch at another ppv where they can go all out and put on a great show.

Ok, Brock Lesnar, he's back. He can now make my WWE 12 story come to life. Imagine this. Wrestlemania 29 main event- Brock Lesnar, CM Punk and Triple H vs John Morrison, Husky Harris and Randy Orton.
Seriously though, it's great to see him back.
FACT- John Cena's finishing move the AA was originally called the FU. The name came as an insult to Brock's F-5 way back in 2003.

Alex Riley, what has happened to him? He went from beating the Miz on ppv to jobbing to Lord Tensai (A-Train) on Raw. On a side note, if you like squash matches, you will enjoy the next few weeks....

Monday Night Raw this week was the best episode for weeks. The crowd made it amazing. There were chants for Brock Lesnar, The Funkasaurrus and Santino. They even chanted YES! Also, they booed Sheamus, which I liked cause Sheamus is better as a heel than a face. Hot crowd = improved show.

On a final note, I don't think that the Undertaker will wrestle another match. 20-0 is an incredible record and it deserves to be preserved.

Thanks for reading.
P.S. I may not write another blog for a while for I have some relationship issues at the minute. Alternatively, I may write loads of blogs for a while, it depends.

Peace out.

I was one of the haters for Sheamus/Bryan. D.Bryan used to put on submission clinics in ROH and WWE has stripped him of half of his moveset. They missed this opportunity to showcase him.

That match didn't have to be that short anyway. They had time for boring divas, meaningless matches like Kane/Orton, Deadliest Catch, and Mama Clay, but no time for the World Heavyweight Championship?

Lord Tensai is obviously not very good. Pushing him to a championship would be a mistake. They already have guys like the Funkasaurus on the roster if they want to push a dominant big man.

The best RAW in weeks? That could well have been the best in years. The only part I saw as a letdown was Lord Albert (totally agree with word2k9 on that one).

I also feel that Bryan deserved a better fate. He FINALLY had developed a character and he had been the focal point of SD for months. I understand your point about unpredicability but to only give him 18 seconds felt like a huge mistake. On the flip side he now has overwhelming support as most feel he was treated unfairly. And don't tell Vince but I still don't think Del Rio will ever get over like he wants him to.

Finally I highly doubt we've seen the last of the Undertaker. He's a huge WM draw for the company and if he only has to wrestle one match a year he can probably keep going for a while.

i was not a fan of the whc match, but im hoping out hope that there will be a reason for this and use it to make a good storyline in the coming weeks, i for one am glad to see albert back in the wwe and dont see any reason he cant be good, he has been huge over in japan.

DangerousDan, Alberto Del Rio had the most unfair push in wrestling history (now being challenged by Garett Bischoff). Tensai Train has had a very similar beginning, but I hope they catch themselves this time.

mikeydmu07, a lot of guys have been big in Japan. For instance they've built cards around MVP. Doesn't necessarily correlate to success here.

word2k9 Interesting comparison. Del Rio's push to me seemed to require that he win the WHC (to fulfill his destiny and all that good stuff). As soon as he lost to Edge at WM 27 it felt like the air was toally let out of the ADR balloon. So I suppose it was unfair in that he was pushed toward the title and then denied. I don't know that I see them pushing Prince Tensai to a world title. He just seems like the latest monster character that will be unbeatable for a while. Makes sense that they had to finally move Brodus into a storyline to free up cannon fodder.

Regardless the Garett Bischoff push has got to be worse then either. That kid has no chance ... no chance in hell!!!

It's still too early to predict what they will do with Lord A, but the reports are that he will be pushed to a major title shot.

Del Rio was just such a forced push. Yes, he lost at Wrestlemania, but he won the Royal Rumble and Money in the Bank in the same year. And it's not like he showed up with some extreme talent or charisma that was too much to overlook. He's just another guy to me.
