So many apparently obvious questions heading into TNA's big PPV of the year. Will Sting get fake control of the company back from Hogan? Will Bobby Roode fair better than Alberto Del Rio by fulfilling his destiny and capturing a world title at the big PPV? Will Jerry Lynn lose to RVD for the 1,000th time? Let's get to the picks and find out.

*** Match for the World Heavyweight Championship
Robert Roode vs. Kurt Angle (c)

Roode has recieved a hard push over the last month that has seen him defeat the members of Fortune and the team of Gunner/Jarrett (in a handicap match). Normally when someone gets pushed that hard its not thrown away in the moment of truth (unless you're Alberto Del Rio, who I'd argue has never recovered). So frankly it would be hard to predict anything but a Roode victory. I'll guess that Immortal members will appear but that Angle will do the honorable thing and send them to the back. Angle taps to the Crossface after a long match and raises Roode's hand in victory.

Sting vs. Hulk Hogan
-- 4-Down Note: "If Sting wins, Hogan returns control of TNA to Sting and Dixie Carter."

Hogan is on the record saying that this will be a fight and not a wrestling match. I've even heard rumors that its a no-DQ bout. Eric Bischoff and Immortal will interfere but I have this wierd feeling that Jeff Hardy will ignore Jarrett's warning ,show up, and make the save. Sting proceeds to get a tapout victory.

*** Match for the X Division Championship
Brian Kendrick vs. Austin Aries (c)

Aries seems to be getting over fairly well and I still don't get Brain Kendrick. Since I don't like Kendrick's chances of beating Aries twice in a row (beat him on Thursday's Impact) ...

My Prediction: Austin Aries, Pinfall, No - no interference

*** Match for the Knockout's Championship
Madison Rayne vs. Mickie James vs. Velvet Sky vs. Winter (c)

The in-ring promo with these 4 combatents was mostly about solidifying a rivalry between Karen Jarrett and Velvet Sky. I'd look for interference from Jarrett, Traci Brooks and Angelina Love but the finish will probably involve Sky getting the pin on Jarrett's right-hand woman Madison Rayne.

My Prediction: Velvet Sky, Yes - interference

Rob Van Dam vs. Jerry Lynn

Can Lynn finally get out of RVD's shadow? Hmmm ... NOOOO!!!

Mr. Anderson vs. Bully Ray

I will personally be at the show so I hope I don't have to get involved in this one. It's not like my name is Little Jimmy (take the muzzle off R-Truth WWE!!!). Ahem, anyway Bully Ray will probably have help lined up in the form of Immortal. This seems like a good time for Abyss to complete his face turn by getting revenge for Thursday's beating and helping Anderson to victory.

AJ Styles vs. Christopher Daniels

Daniels has largely gotten the better of AJ since finally beating him weeks ago. He said he'd never fight AJ again and yet here we are somehow. This could go either way but Daniels would have to do something pretty clever to get AJ to submit so I'll vote with the majority again.

My Prediction: AJ Styles, No - no interference

*** Samoa Joe vs. Crimson vs. Matt Morgan

Crimson brings his undefeated streak into this one but I think he keeps that intact so long as he is not pinned. Typically in a triple threat match with a mixture of heels and faces its good to bet on whoever is in the minority. Even though the 2 like-minded wrestlers will double team their opponent out of the gate they will eventually have to turn on each other. This leaves the door open for the 3rd wrestler to swoop in for the victory. At least that's what my Wrestling 101 textbook says.

Shannon Moore & Jesse Neal vs. Hernandez (c) & Anarquia (c)

This one is pretty close to a toss-up. Ink Inc. got the better of Thursday's encounter and introduced a new female valet (Christina von Eerie I think). The thing is that Mexican America has 2 valets and they are very accomplished cheaters. I'll take the champs to retain.

It's a toss-up but I think Moore can take a better bump for whatever move ends the match.
