First off I'd like to thank Cletus for his decision to keep the PPV games going. There were some tough calls to make today but I think we all appreciate the time he puts into running this site. He'll have even less time going forward but he still decided to keep the site running and score the PPV games. What a guy!!!

Today almost marked an end but instead I think I'd characterize it as a TURNING POINT!!!

AJ Styles vs. Robert Roode (c)

This match had roughly 10 seconds of hype at the end of last night's show. 10 seconds!!! That does not quite seem like enough buildup for a title change. That's not to say that the match won't be good but the constant game of Championship Hot Potato that's been going on lately should at least get a brief timeout. I don't think anyone will interfere on Roode's behalf so he will probbaly just win with some heel tactics. The big question would be where this goes from here. Will Styles get another shot or will James Storm be granted a proper rematch? And with Jeff Hardy back in the fold how long will it be until he inevitably enters the title picture? My guess would be Styles/Storm/Roode at the next PPV with Hardy entering the picture after that. But I digress. For Sunday it pays to be ...

*** Jeff Hardy vs. Jeff Jarrett

Jeff Jarrett is probably the most loyal worker in the company so he's surely going to try and put Hardy over. I do have a random observation though. During Hardy's last couple of Swanton Bombs he has been landing on his opponent butt first. This is quite a contrast to his WWE days when perhaps a strand of hair on his head would caress his opponent as he went by. So I end up wondering if this is intentional or if his aim is really really bad. And for his aim to be that bad you'd almost think he was ............. NAH!!! Hopefully Jarrett's ribs survive it though.

Gail Kim vs. Velvet Sky (c)

Interference from Mrs. Jarrett is a lock but Traci Brooks will probably be around to counteract it. Velvet Sky just won her first KO title a month ago and I wouldn't expect the reign to end so soon.

Ink Inc. & Toxxin vs Mexican America (c) & Sarita

I can only assume that Rosita's interference will decide this match one way or the other. It's a tough one to call but Ink Inc got the better of last night's altercation so I'll take the Mexicans.

My Prediction: Hernandez & Sarita & Anarquia, Yes - interference

*** Crimson vs. Matt Morgan

Can the Blueprint end the unbeaten streak? The fans will probably be behind him but I don't see it ending yet. I think long term I'd like to see Crimson do a heel turn since most everyone hates him anyway. He's had a lot of time to work as a face and has not really generated any buzz so I think you might as well try something different if you insist on keeping him around.

*** Rob Van Dam vs. Christopher Daniels

I initially picked RVD for this match but I had second thought. Firstly RVD is coming off a BFG win whereas Daniels took a loss. Secondly Van Dam cost Daniels a match last night on IMPACT. Lastly the fued won't end until the face wins and it just started a couple of weeks ago. I know RVD is the bigger star and the one that gets catered to but I have a feeling you could sell him on a loss here. Upset alert!!!

My Prediction: Christopher Daniels, Pinfall, Yes - interference (since its a No-DQ match it seems like a good way for him to win)

Jesse Sorensen vs. Kid Kash vs. Austin Aries (c)

Can Mr. "been in the business 10 minutes" win the title? Why does he come out and autograph footballs? Is he mute? I'm clueless on the latter 2 questions but I'll say Kid Kash costs him this match. Maybe he could find a creative way to take the fall and give Aries the victory. Then Sorensen (assuming he's not mute) could call him out for disrespecting the business he claims to love by throwing away his own tile shot just to screw him over. Kash can respond by saying that at least Aries respects the business and he'll be damned if he's going to see a pretentious punk like Sorensen walking aroung with the gold.

Robbie E vs. Eric Young (c)

Let me get this straight. The TV Title is being defended at a PPV? I know it doesn't really matter but I thought that belt existed to be defended on free TV. In any event I'd look for Robbie E to win with an assist from Robbie T. You just don't get a new bodyguard and velvet rope entrance prop unless you're going places.

Gunner is probbaly going to get involved but Abyss is on the push so I expect him to overcome it.
