Before I get to the PPV I'd like to have a short rant about Monday's edition of RAW. What the heck? They had a 3-hour edition where the Rock was in the house and we were setting up Survivor Series (one of the major PPV's of the year). How did they decide to kick things off? With what feels like Part 20 of the epic battle between Jim Ross and Michael Cole of course. And that's not all folks. They did so with the 'Michael Cole Challenge' which is apparently the most drawn out and boring format they could devise. The gosh darn thing was delayed for weeks and this is what they come up with? Good gravy, were there any 3-year olds watching who didn't think we'd get to Part 3 of the challenge and that it would be something Cole would win by default? Did whoever wrote this graduate preschool? One of the worst segments I can recall. At least when Mick Foley came out later and bombed it didn't look so bad by comparison.

*** John Cena & The Rock vs. The Miz & R-Truth

A lot of people are picking the super-team of Cena/Rock for this one but I'll go against the current here. Cena and the Rock have both beaten the tar out of Awesome Truth already so they gain very little by doing it again. I think we're going to get something that builds into Rock/Cena at WM 28. If you'll recall WM 27, the Rock cost Cena his WWE title and proceeded to ask "What did you think would happen?". Well we're now halfway to WM 28 and it would be nice and symmetrical if Cena were to return the favor and offer the same lack of an explanation. So my prediction is that Cena hits an Attitude Adjustment on Rock and leaves him to be pinned by the Miz.

My Prediction: The Miz & R-Truth, Pinfall, No - no interference

*** Match for the WWE Championship
CM Punk vs. Alberto Del Rio (c)

I think most people are picking Punk to win here and I agree ... to a point. I'll say that Punk scores a win by DQ after some form of blatent interference similar to when Ricardo cost him that match against Mark Henry weeks ago. This will lead to another match at TLC (see spoiler below) where I think I like Punk's chances to capture the title.

My Prediction: CM Punk, DQ, Yes - interference

*** Match for the World Heavyweight Championship
Big Show vs. Mark Henry (c)

There was a bit of a discussion earlier in the week over whether Show deserved to win the title over Mark Henry. I think they are both deserving and I feel like its Show's time to breakthrough after the draw at the last PPV. I'm basing my prediction here off of another rumor (see below) but I'll say Show for this one and probably Henry in a rematch at TLC.

My Prediction: Big Show, Pinfall, No - no interference

*** Team Orton vs Team Barrett, Survivor Series Match

A large majority on this site are going with Team Orton but I'll disagree again. Orton/Sheamus have been on too much of a roll and Barrett seems like he's being pushed toward the main event again. I'll say that Christian will do something to help tip the scales in Team Barrett's favor and Rhodes will do something to cost Orton after being eliminated.

My Prediction: Cody Rhodes & Jack Swagger & Christian & Wade Barrett & Hunico, Yes - interference

*** Lumberjack Match, for the Diva's Championship
Eve Torres vs. Beth Phoenix (c)

Unless I missed it (very possible) this wasn't even on RAW this week. No buildup is a good indicator of no title change. I think they just wanted to not have Beth/Kelly for the 10th straight PPV.

My Prediction: Beth Phoenix

*** Match for the United States Championship
John Morrison vs. Dolph Ziggler (c)

I'm a bit confused as to why this is not Zach Ryder. The guy does nothing for me but Morrison seems a bit out of left field. I guess they're saving it, which makes this match a placeholder.

My Prediction: Dolph Ziggler, Pinfall, Yes - interference

*** Who will score the pinfall or submission victory in Cena/Rock vs Truth/Miz?

Miz pins the Rock after Cena leaves him high and dry.

My Prediction: The Miz

*** Who will be pinned or made to submit in Cena/Rock vs Truth/Miz?

The Rock will be furious but the buildup for WM 28 has a lot of potential.

My Prediction: The Rock

*** Team Orton vs Team Barrett: Who will be eliminated first?

The popular pick is Hunico but I'll pick a slight upset since I know Vince likes to mess with everyone.

My Prediction: Jack Swagger

*** Team Orton vs Team Barrett: Who will be eliminated last?

Rhodes costs him the match.

My Prediction: Randy Orton

*** Team Orton vs Team Barrett: Who will win the match for his team?

The Barrett Barrage continues.

My Prediction: Wade Barrett

*** Team Orton vs Team Barrett: How many survivors on the winning team?

Just Wade.

My Prediction: 1
