AJ Styles vs. Robert Roode (c)

I'll start off by saying that I loved Roode's "apology" to Dixie Carter last night. For anyone who missed it he was in the middle of disparaging her when Sting cut him off. He responded with "What? You told me to apoligize." and then goes back to the insults before spitting in her face. I was skeptical when TNA decided to split up Beer Money but Roode is doing very well as a top heel.

For this match we have a rematch from last month's PPV. AJ was selling a leg injury last right and Roode is being pushed as a strong champion. This match is a good bet to go to overtime, at which point Roode will capitalize on Styles' injury for the win. With Jeff Hardy a very good bet to be the new #1 contrender Roode is a very good bet to retain.

Mickie James vs. Gail Kim (c)

Mickie's path to this match has included winning a Gauntlet match, winning a Street Fight over ODB and defeated Madison Rayne last night. Meanwhile Gail has been a party to the "humilaition" of the Knockouts Division and a scored a weak victory over Traci Brooks. Mickie's path seems like it would be a lot of buildup for nothing so I'll say she wins with help from the other Knockouts.

*** Steel Cage Match,
Jeff Hardy vs. Jeff Jarrett
-- 4-Down Note: "If Jeff Hardy wins, he will be the #1 contender to the TNA Heavyweight Championship. If Jeff Jarrett wins, Jeff Hardy must leave TNA. And there's some deal with Karen Jarrett being handcuffed to Sting during the match."

This should be the final chapter of the Battle of the Jeffs in which Hardy has dominated thus far. If Jarrett wins then Hardy must leave the company. About the only way that happens is if he shows up stoned again. Hardy goes on to face Roode for the title.

P.S. I watch the show and I'm not really clear on why Sting decided to cuff himself to Karen Jarrett.

Devon & D'Angelo Dinero vs. Matt Morgan (c) & Crimson (c)

It's looks like about 98% of people on this site aren't buying the team of D-Von/Pope. Well I think 98% of you are on to something. Don't forget though, D-Von has kids and it sure seems like they're going to interfere. This seems like it will lead to that Pope/D-Von fued that the EVERYONE has been waiting for.

Kid Kash vs. Austin Aries (c)

I'm a bit surprised this isn't Jesse Sorensen in this spot as he seems to have disappeared and left us with a heel vs. heel matchup. The match should be strong since Aries is invloved but it could be hard to get the crowd invested. My guess is that they eventually get behind Aries and cheer him to victory.

Eric Young vs. Robbie E (c)

This is pretty much a tossup. The last time these 2 met was on Thanksgiving and the result was an Eric Young victory (which somehow forced Rob Terry into a turkey suit). I don't think Young has wrestled since and E has picked up a cheap win over RVD. My guess is TNA wants to continue the push of E and his awesome entrance (you know, the one with a velvet rope where Rob Terry talks to his imaginary earpiece).

*** Kurt Angle vs. James Storm

Storm will be out to get a measure of revenge after being concussed by Angle several weeks ago. This is billed as a straight-up singles match so my first inclination was to pick "No Contest", since its going to take some type of stip to bring this to a close. Then I figured I was really limiting my chances with that pick so I thought of the next most likely scenario. Angle can't win clean and Storm could use the additional buildup so I figured that Storm could appear to be in control and Angle could take a DQ. That way the fued continues, Storm is booked to appear strong and we have good reason to add a stip for a future match.

This seems liek a token fued just to give RVD something to do. There is no reason to book Daniels strong or for this fued to continue.
