Well its come time to defend my TNA Prediction Championship of the world. A bit of an odd PPV here as it gives most of the top stars the night off in favor of the high-flying X Division. I actually tend to like this idea and the card is not too weak despite the absence of top talent. I tend to think that's b/c most of the matches have some point to them (i.e. earning a contract, earning a title shot, story buildup, history). Those little things tend to make it interesting Steph, err, I mean Fourdown patron.

*** Match for the World Heavyweight Championship
Mystery Wrestler vs. Mr. Anderson (c)
-- 4-Down Note: "At this time there is no scheduled TNA Heavyweight Championship match for the card. If no match involving the world title is officially added to the card, we will delete this match once the PPV has finished airing. Just in case they throw out a bonus world title match!"

If by some odd chance there is a title match then I guess Anderson would have to win. He's scheduled to defend against Sting in a Slammiversary rematch on Thursday at Midsummer Nightmare (Sting's name for this Thursday (???)).

Brian Kendrick vs. Abyss (c)

Kendrick took quite a beating last night and on paper he's no match for Abyss. But this is the X Division's night and Abyss is an anti-X Division figure who's dominated for months and even renamed the belt the Xtreme championship. Somehow, someway I feel like the belt goes back to the X-Division here.

*** AJ Styles vs. Christopher Daniels

Despite his denials it seems as if Daniels is on a bit of a quest to prove he's better than his buddy. Unfortunantly for him I can't see him getting a clean victory in the "house that AJ Styles built". Here I thought Nickolodean built it to tape GUTS, which was awesome. Whatever the case Styles wins clean and then gets attacked post-match to kick off a "jealous friend" rivalry.

Now this is a classic that I remember watching on ECW (the REAL ECW) week in and week out. Now how did that go? Oh yeah,

*** Samoa Joe vs. Kaz

Joe's been on quite a losing streak lately and sits last in the BFG standings with 0 points. He took out some of his frustrations on Kazarian in a bar fight but I feel like he still needs to vent. I'll say he cheats to get the upper hand and then taps Kaz out for the win.

*** Austin Aries vs. Low Ki vs. Zema Ion vs. Jack Evans

If the matches leading up to this have been any indication this is probably the match of the night (in terms of wrestling). With a TNA contract on the line I hope Aries wins, as I thought his match was the best of the lot, but I've got to go with ...

Alex Shelley vs. Amazing Red vs. Robbie E vs. Shannon Moore

If my earlier prediction of Kendrick winning X Division gold is correct then I need a heel to win the #1 contendership. Hey, is that Robbie E there? I'll say he steals one with help from Cookie.

*** Doug Williams vs. Mystery Wrestler

Now this is a tough call. Last I remember the British Invasion was kicking off a fued with Mexican America. If I go off of that I'll say that the mystery opponent is probably Hernandez, and you don't beat him on the first try.
