Night of Champs Predictions from Cooper_45

With Night of Champions just a few hours away, I thought I would throw in my two cents just to get a reaction from my fellow predictors.

The Triple Threat Match for the WWE Title-Orton v. HHH v. Cena
I am not a fan of Cena by no means, but I see him picking up the win here. From there, a new feud between Cena and HHH culminating at SumerSlam. As for Orton, going out on a huge limb without a net to catch me when I fall, I see him teaming with Jericho. Famous last words, right? Anyway, it'd be different and two things could happen...1) Jericho joins Legacy adding animosity between himself, DiBiase, Rhodes, and eventually Orton (can't have those two egos in the same room for too long). 2) The beginning of the end of Legacy. Rhodes and DiBiase feel betrayed by Orton...might make a run at the tag titles...eventually start their singles careers where DiBiase proves how good he really is (glimpses of this could be seen against Orton).

The World Title-Punk v. Jeff Hardy
Huge Hardy fan, so there is no need to be shocked by what I'm about to say...Hardy gets the title through SummerSlam...okay, so hopefully he gets the title and is able to keep it that long. I really hate to see Hardy go, but hopefully its just to get some well deserved rest so that he can come back and get a title run that he truly deserves. I really think that the best thing WWE can do is offer him the opportunity to hold the title for several months if not a year +. He can carry the company a whole crap load better than Cena thats for dang sure. I will accept that Hardy is leaving if he loses tonight. Too many title shots for him not to hold the title for less than a couple of minutes unless he is leaving.

ECW Title-Christian v. Tommy Dreamer
I see Christian getting the title back tonight. Not really much else to say about this match. Sorry.

Intercontinental Title- Mysterio v. Ziggler
I think this could be a big night for Ziggler, IF he were to win the title. Rey is the best thing to happen to the IC title since the last time Hardy held it. I think Mysterio should continue his title reign. I think its too early for Ziggler to be getting a title.

Six Pac US Title Match
I really want Kofi to keep the title, but I think one of three things will probably happen here. 1) Mostly I think that either MVP or Swagger will win the match adding the title to their ever growing feud. 2) Big Show picks up the win adding to the feud between him and Kofi. Really, I think thats all that could really happen in the match, but the third thing is that Kofi keeps the title and he continues his feud with the Big Show. I can really see Swagger or MVP winning as a greater probablility.

Diva's Title-Mickie James v. Maryse
No question about it, I gotta go with Mickie on this one. She hasn't held a title in a long time and I think she is due. I liked that they were building up Diva's like Kelly Kelly, but Mickie is definately a better choice to hold the Diva's title...for now.

Women's Title- Melina v. Michelle McCool
I think Michelle keeps her title. She just recently won the title, so I don't see her dropping it until SummerSlam, maybe.
