Run to the Hills by Iron Maiden roars thru Phoenix, Arizona as Jerry Lawler & Jim Ross welcome us to Raw is War!
Jerry Lawler: Welcome to the first ever Raw is War!
Jim Ross: Boy, do we have a show tonight. We even find out the person who will face the world’s champion at the Royal Rumble!
Jerry Lawler: I think that man is going to be Owen Hart.
Jim Ross: Owen Hart would have to come over nine other men, including the Rock, to face Stone Cold at the Royal Rumble.
Jerry Lawler: The other nine men will be in the thirty man Royal Rumble.
Chris Jericho’s music hits and he comes out to a huge pop.
Chris Jericho: Welcome to RAW IS JERICHO! I am the Intercontinental Champion. I have come this far and I am not giving up this title as I will make it to WRESTLEMANIA!
Jeff Jarrett’s music hits and he comes out to heat.
Jeff Jarrett: I see your title is looking mighty fine. I do believe I’m going to win that title at the Royal Rumble!
Chris Jericho: Hold it… you don’t just get a title shot, you earn it. So how bout you get your punk ass down to the ring and fight the man of my choosing.
Jeff Jarrett: I will. Who is it?
Chris Jericho: This man.
Vader’s music hits and he comes out to a huge pop. Chris goes to the announce booth as both men get ready to start.
Vader v Jeff Jarrett if Jeff wins, he faces Chris Jericho for the Intercontinental Championship at the Royal Rumble
Jeff Jarrett is still in shock and is hit with a clothesline right away. Vader then picks up Jeff Jarrett and hits a power bomb. Vader goes for a pin 1…2 kick out! Vader then picks up Jarrett and is about to bodyslam him when Jarrett gets out of Vader’s hold and the punches Vader. Vader comes back with a headbutt. Vader then puts his hands in the air and goes to the top rope. He is about to hit the Vader Bomb when Owen Hart’s music hits. Chris Jericho gets up and runs to the stage. Owen doesn’t come out. Chris turns around and is hit with a powerbomb off the stage by Owen Hart. Owen walks down to the ring. Owen smiles at Vader and Vader lies down and Jeff pins him. 1…2…3!
Winner and Number 1 contender for the intercontinental Championship: Jeff Jarrett

Jim Ross: What was that all about?
Jerry Lawler: I don’t know but I can’t wait till the Royal Rumble when Chris Jericho gets what he deserves and loses his Intercontinental Championship.
Jim Ross: Let’s go backstage to Mr. McMahon’s office.

Mr. McMahon is with Shane McMahon in Vince’s office.
Mr. McMahon: Shane, I have something I need you to tell DX.
The camera’s audio goes out and comes back on when Shane starts talking.
Shane McMahon: I will be sure to tell them.
Then Mankind walks into the room.
Mankind: You wanted to see me boss?
Mr. McMahon: I wanted to see you to tell you that you are the first announced Royal Rumble Participant. Also, you will face Kurt Angle tonight, which, Kurt is also in the Royal Rumble!
Mankind: Is that all?
Mr. McMahon: Report to locker room 213 after your match.

The camera comes back to the ring as Edge & Christians music hits as they have a match next!
----Commercial Break----
Joey Abs & Pete Gas w/ Rodney v Edge & Christian
Edge starts out against Joey and Edge quickly takes control hitting a spinebuster right away. Edge then hits an elbow drop followed by leg drop. Edge tags out to Christian and when Christian comes in and is immediately hit with a low blow from Joey. Joey tags out to Pete and Pete hits a clothesline on Christian. Pete then irish whips Christian into the ropes and when Christian rebounds he is flipped over Pete. Pete then tags out to Joey and Joey hits a powerbomb on Christian. Joey goes for a pin 1…2 and Christian kicks out! Edge has a look of concern on his face for his partner. Joey argues with the ref and Rodney points out that Christian is crawling back to Edge. Joey turns around to see Edge get tagged in and is nailed with a spear! Edge then knocks Pete off the apron. Christian then dives straight onto Pete and Rodney. Edge pins Joey 1…2…3! Edge & Christian win!
Winners: Edge & Christian.

----Commercial Break----

The Rock’s music hits and he comes out to a huge pop. Rock does his eyebrow raising.
The Rock: The Rock has been thinking about how he will win this battle royal later tonight to face Steve Austin at the Royal Rumble. The Rock has looked over the list and The Rock has decided that he can beat them all. Owen Hart, Triple H, Undertaker, Eddie Guerreerro, Big Show, Kane, The Hardy’s, and Shawn Michaels are all too easy for The Rock.
Kane’s music hits and he comes out to heat.
Kane: You think that you can beat me easily? Monster’s have a goal that they will accomplish more than anything and my goal is to eliminate you.
The Rock: You don’t interrupt the Rock. No one does! So get your Candy ass backstage before I send it lower than He’ll.
Kane starts to choke Rock and lifts him in the air and then hits a huge Chokeslam. Kane then walks away without looking back on Rock
Jerry Lawler: Kane is most definitely going to face Steve Austin at the Rumble now.
Jim Ross: Are you going to keep changing your mind every time you see another guy in that match?

We go backstage to Steve Austin’s locker room.
Steve Austin: You know, I just heard that I get to face Big Boss Man tonight. Well, that’s just great because I get to reopen the bible to Austin 3:16 and Boss Man, you will get to read it tonight!
Steve’s door opens and Big Show comes in.
Big Show: Mr. McMahon sent me and he has this new thing he wants you to be aware of and it’s called…
Big Show chokeslams Steve through the table to the right.
Big Show: …the corporation.
Then we see that Big Show has a Black Armband with a White C on it.

----Commercial Break----

Mankind v Kurt Angle
Mankind quickly hits a clothesline followed by a powerbomb and goes for the pin trying to end the match early 1 kick out! Kurt Angle slowly gets up and ducks under a clothesline and then spears Mankind! Kurt then starts stomping on Mankind. Kurt then locks in a Camel Clutch and Mankind gets to the ropes quickly. Mankind then gets up and gets Kurt in a fireman’s carry and then drops Kurt out of the ring. 1…2…3…4…5…6 and Kurt gets back in and is immediately hit with a series of punches and then Kurt falls out of the ring. Mankind follows him this time and Mankind throws him over the steel barricade. Mankind then chases him around the arena and when the ref is at the nine count Kurt gets into the ring and then Mankind but the ref says Mankind didn’t make it in on time. Kurt Angle won! Kurt then goes over to Mankind and is hit with the Mandible Claw! Mankind goes backstage.
Winner: Kurt Angle

Mankind finds Locker room 213. He walks in and is nailed with a Dropkick by Chris Benoit! Chris then locks in the Crippler Crossface on Mankind and Mankind taps out. Chris doesn’t let go and the camera zooms in on the armband he is wearing which is the same one that Big Show was!

Jim Ross: Did Mr. McMahon set up this ambush?
Jerry Lawler: Mr. McMahon would never set up an ambush he set up a plan!
Jim Ross: If that helps you sleep better at night.

Number 1 contenders match
The Cat v Ivory v Tori v Chyna v Sable v Jacqueline v Luna v Lita v Molly Holly v Trish Stratus v Fabulous Moolah v Mae Young
Chyna teams up with Tori and starts beating down on Mae Young and Fabulous Moolah. Lita quickly eliminates Luna and Jacqueline while they were fighting each other. Sable then helps Chyna and Tori eliminate Mae and Moolah. Chyna then bodyslams Sable out of the ring. Trish Stratus eliminates Tori and then Chyna starts to fight Trish in the corner. Lita eliminates Ivory by hitting a dropkick. Molly holly eliminates the Cat and turns around and is clotheslined out of the ring by Lita. Chyna is about to eliminate Trish when Lita throws Chyna over the ropes but Chyna lands on the steel steps. Lita then knocks Trish out of the ring, eliminating her. Lita then starts to cheer thinking she won but Chyna turns her around and power bombs her out of the ring. Chyna Wins!
Winner: Chyna

Jim Ross: Chyna just shocked Lita!
Jerry Lawler: Sunny will go one on one with Chyna in four weeks at the Royal Rumble for the Women’s Championship.
Jim Ross: Lita looks as if she just saw a ghost!

The camera goes to Triple H, Billy Gun, Road Dog, and X-Pac walking backstage as we cut to commercial.

----Commercial Break----

D-Generation-X is in the ring and they all have mics.
Triple H: You called us out here Shane. What do we have to waste our time with now?
Shane McMahon’s music hits and he comes out to heat.
Shane McMahon: My father just wanted to let you guys know about next week. We’re adding a new championship. It is called the European Championship and there will be a tournament for the title. The Finals of the tournament will be at the Royal Rumble, and, X-Pac, you are in that. New Age Outlaws will get to face two mystery opponents next week and Triple H, you get to be in the Main Event next week against Shawn Michaels, INSIDE A STEEL CAGE! Oh, and if any of you guys lose next week, YOUR FIRED!
X-Pac: Here, come in the ring so we can discuss this.
Shane gets in the ring and is nailed with a X-Factor from X-Pac, Followed by a Gunslinger from Billy, A superkick from Road Dogg and a Pedigree from Triple H.
Triple H: We got two words for ya!
DX(All): SUCK IT!

They push away Shane and walk to the backstage area as the fans cheer.

Stone Cold Steve Austin v Big Boss Man.
Stone Cold comes out to a huge pop and Boss Man comes out to heat. Austin starts off hitting a german suplex followed by a knee drop. Austin then puts Boss Man onto the top ropes and goes for a superplex but Boss Man pushes Austin down and then Boss Man hits a diving elbow drop onto Austin. Boss Man goes for a pin 1…2 kick out! Austin gets back up and body slams Boss Man onto the mat. Austin then throws Boss Man out of the ring. Austin gets out and puts Boss Man on the announce table. Stone Cold flips him off and then hits a spine buster on him sending him through the table. Austin rolls him into the ring and nails a Stunner on Boss Man. Austin pins him 1…2…3? No Boss Man kicked out! Austin goes for the superplex again but Boss Man pushes him down. As Boss Man jumps down onto him Austin hits him with a Stunner! Austin goes for the pin 1…2…3! Austin wins!
Winner: Stone Cold Steve Austin

After the match Big Show’s music hits and he comes down to the ring with Chris Benoit. They walk into the ring and Austin hits a Stunner on Benoit! Big Show tries to hit a chokeslam but Austin hits a Stunner on him too! Austin asks for two beers and turns around to be hit with a chair from the Boss Man! Boss Man takes the beer and smashes it on Austin’s head and then pours it all over Austin. Big Show gets up and gives Boss Man the Arm Band that he and Benoit have.

The Rock v Jeff Hardy v Matt Hardy v Owen Hart v Triple H v Undertaker v Kane v Eddie Guerreerro v Shawn Michaels v Big Show Over the top Rope Battle Royal
The Rock and Kane start going at it. Big Show gets in on Rock and Kane which turns bad for Big Show quickly as he gets thrown over by the team of Kane & Rock. Eddie and the Hardy’s are going at it. Undertaker hits Kane from behind and throws him over the top rope. Rock then tries to throw Undertaker over but Taker throws him onto Kane. Rock and Kane start to brawl outside the ring. Owen Hart gets eliminated by Triple H. Shawn Michaels throws Matt over the top rope and then teams up with Eddie to eliminate Jeff. Triple H throws HBK over the top rope and grins but turns around to get chokeslamed over the top rope by Undertaker. Eddie tries to hurricaneranna Taker but Taker just chokeslams him. Taker then picks him back up and nails a tombstone. Taker then throws Eddie over the top rope. Taker is going to Royal Rumble to face Steve Austin for the WWF Championship!
Winner: Undertaker.
The Rock is about to hit the Rock Bottom on Kane thru the announce table but Kane reverses it and Chokeslams him thru it. The lights go out and Mideon and Undertaker are standing in the ring and Kane and The Rock are lying down infront of them. The show goes off the air with undertaker’s music roaring thru the arena.
