Gamma Championship Wrestling: Smackdown 7/20/12

The openening pyro goes off as "Do You Know Your Enemy" by Greenday plays throughout The American Airlines Center. The lighting dims and Randy Orton's music hits as he comes down to the ring to a ton of cheers. He grabs a mic and begins to speak.

Randy Orton: "As many of you know by now I lost my chance to win the United States Championship last Sunday at Money in the Bank. However, it wasn't because Cody was more skilled then me in the ring. No! It was because of the incompetent refeere who decided that the match would end in a no contest because Cody's, as well as my, shoulders were down. Then Johnny Boy came out and restarted the match, and since I spent all of my energy in the first match, I lost the second. I should be champion right now...as my shoulders were not down when I pinned Rhodes. IN FACT, my left shoulder was clearly up. Take a look."

A video plays on the titantron showing Orton rolling up Rhodes. Randy's left shoulder is clearly up as the ref counts three.

Orton: "I won that match...not Cody. Now I want my rematch...TONIGHT!"

The crowd starts chanting for a rematch. Cody's music hits as he comes down to the ring to a mix of boos and cheers with a huge smile on his face.

Cody Rhodes: "Orton, Orton, Orton. You lost the match to me and you can't take it. It is blatantly obviouse that you edited that video to make it seem like your shoulder was up when it really wasn't. Are you so pridefull that you can't handle the fact that I pinned you for the three count. Orton, there was no controversy in that matchup Orton. Your ego is causing you to see something that isn't there."

Orton: "Cody, you know that I should be the one with the untied States Championship right now...not you. Give me my rightfull rematch, or I will make your life a living hell."

Cody: "Ooooohhhhh, you make me shiver in my boots Orton! Ha! Now that I've beat you, I know that you can't hurt me. How can you hurt somebody that you can't even beat in a wrestling match? You're not going to get this title, and you're not going to get a rematch."

Orton ran straight at Cody, tackling him to the mat. Orton started to repeatedly punch Cody in the face. Suddenly John Lauranitous's music hits and John L. comes out to the stage with a mic.

John L: "Girls, girls, stop fighting. Now Randy, Cody beat you fair and square at Money in the Bank, so you are not going to get a rematch tonight."

Cody started laughing.

John L: "Tonight, you will be in a number on contenders match for the United States Championship. Winner gets to face Cody at Summerslam. The match will be between yourself and CHRIS JERICHO!"

The crowd erupts in a mixture of boos and cheers. Suddenly a this will be awsome chant starts to run throughout the arena.

John L: "Oh, one more thing. That match will be UP NEXT!!! PEOPLE POWER!"

"Commercial Break"

We come back to see Orton already in the ring. The lights go out as the arena goes dark. Suddenly bright flashing lights are seen on the stage in the shape of a person. Pyro goes off and the lights turn back on as Chris Jericho's music hits. Jericho walks down to the ring to a mixture of boos and cheers. The bell rings and the match begins.

Match 1) Randy Orton vs. Chris Jericho (Number One Contenders Match for the United States Championship)
Chris Jericho and Randy Orton lock up in the middle of the ring. Orton gets the advantage and hits a suplex on Jericho. Jericho gets up, but gets knocked right back down. Jericho wants again stands up. Orton tries to hit a dropkick on Jericho, but Jericho catches the dropkick and tries to turn it into the Wall of Jericho. Orton counters and pushes Jericho off him as the both stare each other down. Orton runs straight at Jericho, but Jericho hits a drop toe hold on Orton, followed by a elbow drop to the back. Jericho once again tries to get Orton into the Walls, but Orton once again counters.
Both of them lock up once again. This time Jericho gets the advantage and hits a side headlock slam on Orton, followed by a chin lock. Orton rolls out of the chin lock and gets up. He then runs straight at Jericho. Jericho leap frogs over Orton and attempts to tak Orton down with a dropkick, but Orton grabs ahold to the ropes to keep from rebounding into the dropkick. Jericho recovers just in time to get taken back down with a huge clothesline from Orton. Orton begins to taunt Jericho as Jericho slowly gets to his feet. Orton then attempts to hit the RKO on Jercho, but Jericho counters it into the Codebreaker! Jericho then pins Orton. 1...2...KICKOUT!
Jericho starts to complain, but to no avail. He then runs at the ropes and jumps off them, attempting to hit Orton with a Lionsault, but Orton rolls out of the way and jumps to his feet. Jericho lands on his feet, but is met with another RKO attempt from Orton. Jericho once again counters. This time he locks in the Walls of Jericho successfully onto Orton. Orton crawls over to the ropes, and just as he is about to make it the ropes Jericho pulls him away. Orton begins to fade, but the crowd gets him back into it. Orton uses his leg streangth to push Jericho off of him. Jericho and Orton get to their feet and begin to trade punches when suddenly Orton hits Jericho with a RKO from out of nowhere! Orton pins Jericho...1...2...KICKOUT! Orton can't believe it and climbs to the top rope.
He then jumps off the ropes, attempting to hit Jericho with a flying body splash, but Jericho counters it into a Codebreaker followed by a pin! 1...2...KICKOUT! Jericho starts to complain to the ref, but gets rolled up by Orton. 1...2...KICKOUT! Orton tries to pick Jercho up, but Jericho counters with a rake to the face. Jericho then climbs to the top rope and attempts to hit a flying cross body on Orton, but Orton counter it into a RKO! He pins Jericho! 1...2...3!!!! Orton begins to celebrate, but gets attacked from behind by Cody. Cody then picks Orton up and attempts to hit him with the Cross Rhodes, but Orton counters it into a RKO! Orton once again begins to celebrate as we go to commercial.

"Commercial Break"

We come back as Benny Camer is in the ring. Suddenly circus music hits, but slowly fades into something more evil. Evil clown laughter echoes throughout the arena as Doink the Clown begins to walk down to the ring. He gets into the face of a little kid and begins to laugh at him evilly, causing him to cry. Doink then enters the ring as the bell rings and the match begins.

Match 2) Doink the Clown vs. Benny Camer
The match begins as Doink and Camer lock up in the middle of the ring. Doink gets the advantage and slams Camer down to the mat. Doink begins a little dance in the middle of the ring, before picking up Camer's right arm and slamming it hard to the mat. Doink then stomps on the right arm, before picking Camer up off the ground. Suddenly Camer rolls Doink up from out of nowhere! 1...2...Doink counters the roll up into a roll up of his own. 1...2...3! Doink beats Camer and begins to mess with the ref.

We go backstage where Josh Matthews is interviewing Randy.

Josh Matthews: "Randy, you now have your rematch against Cody at Summerslam. How do you feeel?"

Before Orton can comment, Chris Jericho comes out from nowhere and attacks Orton from behind. Jericho slaps Orton's head, before locking in the Walls of Jericho to Orton. Jericho yells for Orton to tap, but Orton refuses. Orton tries to counter the Walls, but can't and ends up taping. Jericho then releases the walls and lifts a lifeless Orton up. He chucks Orton into Josh Matthews before picking up the microphone on the ground.

Chris Jericho: "Cody, you might want to listen up, because at Summerslam, neither you or Orton will be walking out champion. I will. In the name of people power, Mr. John Laurantious has granted me a match next Smackdown against you. If I win, I will be added to the Summerslam match and trust me Cody when I say that I am going to win."

Jericho throws the microphone onto Orton before walking off screen.

We go back to the ring just in time for The Miz's entrance. Miz comes down holding the Money in the Bank breifcase to a mixture of boos and cheers. R-Truth follows behind. Miz takes a mic and begins to speak.

The Miz: "I AM MR. MONEY IN THE BANK!!! So, Kane, you better watch your back, because I can strike from anywhere. I can strike now, at Summerslam, maybe not even till the Rumble. Kane, you may not know when I will cash in my Money in the Bank breifcase, but what you do know is that when I cash it in, your championship, will be mine!"

Suddenly Edge's music hits as Edge comes down to the ring to a parade of cheers. Edge grabs a mic and begins to speak.

Edge: "Bravo Miz, you are Mr. Money in the Bank...thanks to me. Yep Miz, if it wasn't for me you wouldn't be holding that breifcase right now."

Miz: "Hold on thier big guy. You didn't help me do anything. I won this breifcase on my own, and I deserve it. So you can go on backstage and go cry in a corner. That way nobody has to listen to you come out here and cry to me."

John Lauranitous's music hits as he appears on stage with a mic.

John L: "Miz, Edge...nobody came here to watch you two bicker. So, in the name of people power. Next Smackdown, you two will be going one on one. Untill then, Edge, your in a match tonight. Against this man!"

Suddenly Kane's music hits as Kane comes down to the ring with AJ close behind to a ton of heat.

"Commercial Break"

We come back and both competetors are in the ring. The bell rings and the match begins.

Match 3) Kane vs. Edge
Edge starts the match by running straight at Kane, but gets quickly taken down by a big boot. Kane then picks Edge up and Irish Whips him into the corner. Kane runs at Edge and nails him with a huge corner clothesline before pinning him for a one count. Kane then sets Edge up for the chokeslam, but Edge counters with a kick to the gut. Edge then takes Kane down with a DDT followed by a two count. Kane sits up, but gets taken down by dropkick to the face from Edge. Kane then rolls out of the ring and recovers. Before getting back in the ring.
Edge once again runs at Kane, this time attempting to take him down with a clothesline, but Kane counters into a two handed chokeslam followed by a two count. Kane then lifts Kane up by the neck and once again attempts to hit Edge with a chokeslam, but Edge counters it by rolling Kane up. 1...2...KICKOUT! Edge sets up Kane for the Spear, but AJ grabs Edge's foot, distracting him long enough for Kane to recover. Edge turns aroun right into a side slam from Kane.
Kane once again sets Edge up for a chokeslam, but Edge once again counters, this time into a Spear attempt! Kane however counters the Spear and shoves Edge into the ring post. Edge slowly recovers right into a Chokeslam from Kane! Kane pins Edge. 1...2...3!

Kane takes asks for a mic and begins to speak.

Kane: "Cena couldn't stop me, so what made you think that ou could Edge? NOBODY CAN STOP ME FOR I DON'T FEEL PAIN! I DON'T FEEL FEAR! I AM PAIN AND FEAR PERSONIFIED! I...put Cena into the hospital. That's right. Cena may have not said I-Quit, but thats only because he couldn't. He couldn't because I knocked him out at the pay-per-view. Now Cena is in the hospital, slowly recovering from third degree burns, two broken arms, one broken leg, and a torn pectorial muscle. So, I don't think you will be seeing Cena any time soon. I am the the World Heavyweight Champion. I am your worst nightmare. AND I WILL NEVER LOSE THIS TITLE!!!"

Suddenly the lights go off. The crowd goes silent. The lights come back on and Edge is gone. In his place is The Undertaker! Undertaker slowly rises up, microphone in hand, and begins to speak.

Undertaker: "Cena may have not been able to beat you Kane, but you are not unbeatable. No, you are far from it. Kane...at Summerslam, you will be losing your World Heavyweight Championship, but it won't be to Cena...it will be to ME!"

Kane drops the mic and begins to stare down The Undertaker who is unmoved. Both stare each other down as the show ends.
