Gamma Championship Wrestling Smackdown: 7/27/12

The openening pyro hits as "Do You Know Your Enemy" by Greenday plays throughout Rupp Arena. Suddenly Kane's pyro hits as he comes down to the ring to a ton of heat. He takes a mic and begins to speak.

Kane: "Last week I defeated Edge in the main event of Smackdown, once again proving my dominance. There was, however, one small tain that tainted that night. That stain was my brother, The Undertaker. Undertaker returned after my match and stared m down in the center of the ring. What my brother doesn't know is that I am not afraid of him. In fact, nobody is anymore! The Undertaker is old news, and needs to be in a retirement home not a wrestling ring. Just like Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, Jim Duggan, Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels, Triple H...the list just goes on and on and on. IN FACT, THE UNDERTAKER DIED THE SECOND HE RETURNED!!!! HE INTERRUPTED MY NIGHT!!!! HE ALWAYS THINKS EVERYTHING IS ABOUT HIM BUT IT ISN'T!!! I AM THE CHAMPION! NOBODY INTERRUPTS ME! NOBODY!!!!!!"

Suddenly the lights in the arena go off as the Undertaker's music hits. The crowd erupts in cheers as Undertaker makes his way down to the ring with a mic in hand.

Kane: "Big brother...I'm going to warn you right now...don't take a step closer TO MY RING!"

The Undertaker ignores Kane's threat and gets into the ring.

Undertaker: "Little brother...I am going to keep this short. At Summerslam I will win the World Heavyweight Championship from you. At Summerslam, you will Rest....in...Pea..."

Kane: "You are just like Cena. You think you run this damn place? NO, I DO!!!! AND THERE IS NO WAY IN HELL THAT YOU ARE GOING TO WALK DOWN TO MY RING AND CLAIM YOU ARE GOING TO WIN MY CHAMPIONSHIP AFROM ME AT SUMMERSLAM! WHY? Quite simply, because you havn't earned the right to face me at Summerlsam."

Undertaker: "I havn't earned the right? I am undefeated at Wrestlemania. I have held more major championships then you ever will. I have actually won a Royal Rumble. Kane, my accolades are far greater than yours...I don't have to win a number one contender's match to face you at Summerslam, because I already deserve to."

Kane: "You make me laugh. You don't DESERVE anything big brother, except for a first class ticket straight to Hell. You are not going to win my championship at Summerslam. You are NOT going to face me at Summerslam."

Suddenly Michael McGillciutty's music hits as Drew comes down to the ring to a mixture of boos and cheers.

Michael McGillicutty: "Kane is right Undertaker. You won't be facing him at Summerslam...because I will. I am the Internet Champion and after Summerslam I will be BOTH the Internet Champion and the World Heavyweight Champion!"

Kane: "You have to be joking....what exactly have you done to deserve a shot at my championship?"

McGillicutty: "THIS!!!"

Suddenly McGillicutty hits Undertaker across the face with the mic, busting him open. He then runs at Kane and attempts to hit the McGillicutter on Kane, but Kane counters it. He then sets McGillicutty up for the chokeslam, but McGillicutty rolls out of the ring. Undertaker slowly stands to his feet as Kane turns to face him and stumbles right into a chokeslam attempt from Kane. Undertaker, however, reaches up with his own hand and wraps it around Kane's neck. Kane however overpowers Undertaker. Just as he is about to chokeslam Undertaker, McGillicutty slides into the ring and hits a chop block on Kane. Kane goes down to one knee as McGillicutty begins to beat down on him, but is suddenly stopped by Undertaker he chucks McGillicutty into the corner and hits him with a corner splash. Kane recovers and wraps a hand around McGillicutty's neck on the rebound. Undertaker comes running at Kane, but Kane wraps a hand around his neck as well. He then lifts both of them up and htis a double chokeslam on both of them before leaving the ring.

John Lauriniatis's music hits and he comes down to the stage with a mic in hand.

John L: "Undertaker, McGillicutty. Kane is right, none of you have yet to prove why you deserve to face Kane at Summerslam. So tonight, we will have a number one contender's match between you two. The winner gets to face Kane at Summerslam! PEOPLE POWER!"

John Lauriniatis leaves the stage as we go to commercial.

"Commercial Break"

We return to see The Gobbly Gooker in the ring. Suddenly circus music hits, but quickly fades into something more sinister. Evil clown laughter echoes through the arena as Doink the Clown makes his way down to the ring to a ton of heat. The bell rings and the match begins.

Match 1: Doink the Clown vs. The Gobbly Gooker
Doink the Clown quickly runs at the Gobbly Gooker and knocks him down with a clothesline. He then puts Gooker into a Figure Four Leg Lock and Gooker quickly taps out. Doink refuses to let go of the hold despite the ref's insistance.

Suddenly Ryback runs to the ring and forces Doink off of Gooker. Ryback and Doink begin to trade punches with Ryback getting the advantage, knocking Doink down. Ryback then picks Doink up off the ground and gets him in position for the Shell Shocked, but Doink counters and low blows Ryback. Doink quickly slides out of the ring and begins to walk down the ramp, taunting fans as he goes, but unbeknownst to him Ryback recovers and quickly exits the ring. He then chases Doink down and attacks him from behind. Ryback once again picks Doink up, this time successfully hitting Doink with a Shell Shocked! Ryback begins to taunt Doink as we go backstage.

We see Chris Jericho preparing for his match against Cody Rhodes. Matt Striker walks in and begins to interview him.

Striker: "Chris...you have a chance to be inserted into the United States Championship match at Summerslam. But you have to be Cody. Do you think you can do it?"

Chris: "I don't think I can do it...I know I can do it. I am the best in the world at everything I do. My loss to Orton last week was a fluke, and everybody knows it. Cody stand no chance against me. I AM A LEGEND AMONG LEGENDS, A KING AMONG KINGS, AND A GOD AMONG MEN!"

Chris Jericho walks off camera as we go back to the ring just in time for Cody Rhodes' entrance. Cody comes down to the ring to a ton of boos. Chirs Jericho comes out next to a mixture of boos and cheers. The bell rings and the match begins.

Match 2: Cody Rhodes vs. Chris Jeircho (If Jericho wins then he will be inserted into the United States Championship match at Summerslam)
Cody and Jericho run at each other, takeing each other down with clotheslines. They both get up and begins to trade punches. Cody gets the advantage and dropkicks Jericho onto the ropes. Cody then runs at Jericho, attempting to knock him over the ropes with a huge clothesline, but Jericho counters by pulling down the ropes, causing Cody to go flying out of the ring. Jericho then launches himself over the ropes and hits Cody with a flying body splash. Jericho then attempts to lock in The Walls of Jericho on Cody, but Cody counters and pushes Jericho into the steps. The ref begins to count...1...Cody runs at Jericho and hits a low dropkick to Jericho's face, sending him once again into the steps...2...Cody begins to scream at Jericho, taunting him about how he is weak and has lost his touch...3...Jericho kicks at Cody's legs, causing Cody to trip and fall...4...Jericho gets to his feet and slides into the ring...5...Cody begins to recover...6...Cody slides into the ring, but gets hit by a huge clothesline from Jericho followed by a two count.
Jericho then runs at the ropes and jumps off them attempting to hit Cody with a Lionsalut, but Cody rolls out of the way. Cody then begins to set Jericho up for the Croos Rhodes, but Jericho counters and attempts to hit Cody with a Codebreaker. Cody however counters and hits Jericho with an Alabama Slam followed by a pin...1...2...KICKOUT! Jericho gets to his feet and once again begins to tade ounches with Cody. Suddenly Chris attempts to go for The Walls of Jericho once again and this time actually locks them in! Cody scrambles to the ropes, but Jericho pulls him back to the center of the ring. Just as Cody looks like he is about to tap, he suddenly counters and pushed Jericho off of him. Cody then weakly runs at Jericho. Jericho quickly kicks Cody in the gut and follows with a Codebreaker from out of nowhere! Jericho pins Cody...1...2...3! Chris Jericho wins!

Jericho asks for a mic and begins to speak.

Jericho: "I told each and every one of you that I was the best in the world at what I do. I just proved it tonight, by defeating the United States champion. So now at Summerslam...Cody, Orton....you both better watch out, because in OUR triple threat match, I will once again prove to the world why I am undefeatable!"

Suddenly, Orton hits the ring and attcks Jericho from behind. Orton then sets Jericho up for the RKO, but Jericho counters it and hits Orton with a Codebreaker! Jericho then spits on Orton and throws the mic on Cody's body before leaving the ring as we got commerical.

"Commercial Break"

We come back to Ryback who is backstage getting interviewed by Matt Striker.

Striker: "Ryback, why exactly did you attack Doink earlier tonight?"

Ryback: "I'm sick of all of his clowing around. I am going to..."

Suddenly Doink the Clown attacks Ryback from behind with a broom. He begins to beat Ryback down with it. Doink then takes the mic and begins to speak.

Doink: "Ryback, I want you....not in that way.....I want to fight you. One on one. Man to clown. Well the good news, its good for me not you, is that Johnny Boy promised me a match against you next week on Smackdown. Till then..."

Doink kicks Ryback in the stomach, causing him to roll over in pain. The camera goes back to the ring just in time for Michael McGillicutty's entrance. McGillicutty comes down to the ring to a lot of heat. Undertaker comes out next to the biggest pop of the night. The bell rings and the match begins.

Match 3: The Undertaker vs. Michael McGilicutty (Number One Contender's Match for the WHC)
Undertaker and McGillicutty lock up. Undertaker gets the advantage and slams McGillicuty down to the grown, followed by a lge drop across the neck. McGillcutty slowly recovers and attempts to punch Undertaker down, but Undertaker doesn't move. Undertaker then counters one of McGillicutty's punches with a huge uppercut of his own fllowed by a pin...1...2...KICKOUT. Undertaker lifts McGillicutty up off the ground, but McGillicutty counters by raking Undertaker's face. McGillicutty then hits Undertaker with a huge clothesline, successfull taking him down.
McGillilcutty puts Undertaker into an armbar, but Undertaker powers out. Undertaker then runs at McGillicutty, attempt to hit him with a big boot, but McGillicutty counters with a drop toe hold, followed by a chin lock. Undertaker once again powers out. Undertaker lifts McGillicutty up over his head and hits a huge powerslam on McGillicutty followed by a two count. Undertaker then sets McGillicutty up for the Tombstone, but McGIllicutty counters and rolls Undertaker up. 1...2...KICKOUT! McGillicutty then sets Undertaker up for the McGillicutter, but Undertaker counters, putting McGillicutty into position for the Tombstone. Suddenly, Kane's music hits as the lighting turns to red, distracting Undertaker long enough for McGillicutty to slip out fo the Tombstone. McGillicutty then hits Undertaker with the McGillicutter followed by a pin. 1...2...3!!!! McGillicutty pins Undertaker!!!! Suddenly the ring opens up as Kane crawls out from the hole. McGillicutty runs at Kane, but Kane chokeslams him to the ground. He then grabs Undertaker and drags him into the hole which suddenly erupts into flames as Smackdown goes off air.
