TCW WEEK 4 1/16/12

Hello and welcome to TCW! We are live from New Hampshire, and this crowd is ecstatic. It is week 4 of TCW, and we have one more week until the first TCW PPV, which is on the 29th. Michael Cole and Josh Matthews are ringside for commentary.

Cole: Hello and welcome to TCW, and wow what a great past few weeks we have had!

Josh: No doubt Cole and I bet it doesn’t change tonight!

Cole: Yea last week we found out who would be in the finals at the GoldSeeker PPV. We also crowned our first ever Global Heavyweight Champion, Kurt Angle!

SEGMENT 1

Jerry Lawler’s music hits and he comes down to the ring with a mic. The fans love the CEO of TCW.

Jerry: Well I have an announcement to make!

The crowd cheers.

Jerry: Tonight in our main event we will see a 4 on 4 tag team elimination match!

The crowd cheers again.

Jerry: In that match the teams will be the winners of last week semifinal matches, vs.
the loser of the semifinals matches.

The crowd lets out a huge pop.

Jerry: Which means it will be CM Punk, Dolph Ziggler, Ted Dibiase, and The Miz, vs. Alberto Del Rio, Zack Ryder, David Otunga, and Justin Gabriel!

The crowd is going nuts as Jerry begins to walk up the ramp, but then the sound of breaking glass echo’s the arena, and it’s STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN. Austin cuts Lawler off at the bottom of the ramp.

Austin: What are you doing!

Jerry: What do you mean!

Austin: I mean what the hell, are you doing!

The crowd cheers.

Austin: It is the fourth week of TCW, and I have yet to have a match. I wasn’t in the tournament for the TCW Championship, let alone a regular match! God dammit I want a MATCH!!!!

Jerry: Well we are all booked tonight but how about this. I will put you in the GoldSeeker match at the PPV. That way if you win, you can get a title show at All out Chaos!

The crowd chants, “Hell Yea.”

Austin: Thanks Jerry, I really appreciate it. But it still doesn’t change the fact that you haven’t given me a match for the last 3 weeks!

Steve drops his mic, then hits a stunner on Lawler, then walks out.

COMMERCIAL

MATCH 1) Heath Slater vs. Rey Mysterio

Heath Slater takes heat, but Rey gets a good reaction.
Heath looks like he is going to win early, but Rey counters a ddt, and hits a swinging neckbreaker. Rey then whips Slater into the ropes, then off the rebound nails a dropkick, which sends Heath between the ropes. Then Mysterio hits the 619, to end this match at the 10 minute mark.

SEGMENT 2

Jack Swagger is backstage with Cody Rhodes.

Jack: Cody don’t you think it’s not right, that we were not in the Global Heavyweight Championship tournament.

Cody: Yea and Lawler made a terrible move by ending it so early, what was he thinking!

Jack: No kidding, how about we go out to the ring, and speak our minds to the TCW Universe.

Rhodes nods, and him and Swagger walk off. We will hear from them after the brake.

COMMERCIAL

We come back and Rhodes and Swagger are in the ring, both of them have a mic.

Jack: We are sick of the CEO and GM of TCW, Jerry Lawler!

Cody: He can’t make a good decision to save his live!

Jack: Well Cody I think your wrong about that!

Cody: Oh why is that Jack?

Jack: Well if you look at Jerry, you can tell he doesn’t have a hard time choosing what type of ice cream to eat!

The crowd gives heat to Jack and Cody. But the two just laugh.

Cody: But in all honesty the reason we are out here is to get a shot at the Global Heavyweight Champion, Kurt Angle!

Right then Jerry Lawler comes out and he stops at the top of the ramp with a mic.

Jerry: Oh so you want a title shot. Will you can earn it, how about in a battle royal match later tonight!

The crowd cheers.

Jack: Against whom?

Jerry: Well it’s funny that you ask that. Because I think it would be cool to see the both of you take on Mark Henry, Randy Orton and The Big Show! The winner faces Kurt Angle at GoldSeeker!

Lawler walks off, and Swagger and Rhodes are upset.

COMMERCIAL

MATCH 2) John Morrison vs. Sheamus

John Morrison comes out to a great reaction, but Sheamus takes a lot of heat.
The two men lock up, and Sheamus overpowers J Mo quickly. Sheamus picks him up, and nails a huge spinebuster slam. Sheamus with a quick cover, 1...2…! Oh Morrison kicked out at 2.

Sheamus stands up John, and whips him into the ropes. On the rebound Morrison leaps over Sheamus, and then bounces off the ropes again. On the second rebound, J Mo hits a shoulder block. But Sheamus doesn’t fall. John Morrison tries for another shoulder block, but Sheamus still doesn’t fall. Again John tries for a shoulder block, but Sheamus grabs him, and is looking for the Irish Cross. Oh and Sheamus nails it, 1…2…! Oh My John Morrison barely gets his shoulder up!

Morrison slowly stands, and Sheamus charges for a Brogue Kick. But Morrison ducks and has Sheamus in an arm drag. John is wearing down Sheamus as he drags him to the corner. While in the corner J Mo climbs to the second rope and nails a falling ddt. John hooking the leg now, 1...! Oh and Sheamus kicked out at 1.

John now gains his strength in the corner and waits for Sheamus to stand. Right before Sheamus gets all the way up, John climbs to the top rope. Sheamus is up now and is walking toward Morrison. Oh my here comes Johnny trying for the Starship Pain. But Sheamus catches him in air, and here is the Irish Cross. Sheamus with a cover now, 1…2…3! Oh and the Great White Sheamus wins!
Sheamus wins via pinfall.

MATCH 3) Eve vs. Beth Phoenix & Kharma.

Kharma turns on Beth half way through the match, and walks out after slamming Beth. Then Eve runs in and pins Beth!
Eve wins via pinfall.

SEGMENT 3

Steve Austin is backstage, and CM Punk walks up to him.

Austin: What do you want PUNK?

Punk: I’m here to tell you, that it wasn’t right of you to do what you did earlier to
Lawler. He is your boss, and you treated him like dirt.

Austin: Get the hell out of my face, and never speak to me again!

Punk shakes his head and walks off.

MATCH 4) John Cena vs. Brodus Clay

Brodus Clay gets a good reaction, and so does Cena. The two men shake hands before the match.

Brodus overpowers Cena and pushes him to the ground. Cena quickly rises and circles Brodus. Brodus charges John, but Cena is able to dodge the charge and get behind him. Cena kicks Brodus in the back, and then hits a running bulldog after bouncing off the ropes. Cena with a cover now 1…2…! Oh Brodus kicks out at 2.

Brodus is up now and cleans house. Cena is on the ground, and Clay goes top rope for the Fall of Humanity. But Cena rolls out of the way just in time. Cena then hits the Five Knuckle Shuffle. John taunts Brodus to get up, and struggles to pick the monster up for the Attitude Adjustment. As soon as Cena flips Brodus off his shoulders, Brodus lands on his feet, and nails a huge backbreaker slam. Brodus with a cover now, 1…2…3! And Brodus Clay wins!

MATCH 5) Jack Swagger vs. Cody Rhodes vs. Randy Orton vs. Big Show vs. Mark Henry (Battle Royal, Number 1 Contenders Match)

Rhodes, Swagger, Orton, and Big Show all take heat. But Mark Henry gets a good reaction.

Rhodes and Swagger team up on Orton, as Big Show and Henry go at it. Orton fights off the assault, and then nails an RKO on Rhodes. Orton charges Swagger. But Swagger rolls out of the ring under the bottom rope. So he is still legally in the match.
Big Show is struggling to eliminate Henry, and Henry fights it off. Right before Henry pushes off the ropes. Cody Rhodes nails a dropkick, which sends Mark over the top rope and to the floor.
Mark Henry is eliminated by Cody Rhodes.

Swagger is back in the ring now taking on Big Show. Swagger hits multiple right hands, and then whips Show into the ropes. On the rebound Jack nails a sidewalk slam. Rhodes is handling Orton in the corner. But Orton fights out, and pushes Cody to the center of the ring. Randy then charges, but Cody counters and nails the Cross Rhodes. Big Show is on the ropes now, and Swagger is trying to eliminate him. Big Show picks up Swagger and throws him over himself. Big Show thinks Swagger was eliminated, but somehow Jack hung onto the ropes, and flipped himself back in the ring. Jack then grabbed Show, and whipped him over the top rope.
Big Show is eliminated by Jack Swagger.

Randy Orton nails and RKO on Cody but turns around, and is hit by a huge belly to back suplex. Cody then gets up, and whips Orton into Swagger. Jack grabs Orton, and picks him up. Swagger then sends Orton over the top rope with a huge Gutwrench Powerbomb. Cody Rhodes is celebrating as if he won. But then his friend Jack Swagger pushes him over the top rope to the floor.
Jack Swagger wins and is the number 1 contender for the World Heavyweight Championship.

SEGMENT 4

We come back and Jerry Lawler is in his office. Then Heath Slater, John Morrison, John Cena, Randy Orton, Big Show, Mark Henry, and Cody Rhodes, rush in. All of the men start complaining about how the lost their matches tonight.

Jerry: Be quiet! Now listen I don’t have enough time to deal with all of you separately because I’m still hurting from the stunner I was given earlier. But I can deal with you as a group. You are all going to be in the GoldSeeker match at the PPV!

All of the men agree that this is a good idea then walk out.

MAIN EVENT) CM Punk, Dolph Ziggler, Ted Dibiase, & The Miz vs. Alberto Del Rio, Zack Ryder, David Otunga, & Justin Gabriel.

This is an odd match up because Ted and Justin are friends, Miz and Otunga are friends, and CM Punk and Zack Ryder are friends. Plus CM Punk is going to be facing Dolph at the GoldSeeker PPV, and the same goes for Miz and Ted.

CM Punk gets a good reaction, Ziggler takes heat, Ted gets a good reaction, and Miz takes heat. Del Rio takes heat, Zack Ryder gets a good pop, Otunga takes heat, and Gabriel gets a good pop.

COMMERCIAL

We come back and Punk and Del Rio are circling each other. Punk then kicks Rio in the gut, and nails a facebuster. Punk with a quick cover, 1…2…! Oh Alberto kicked out at 2. Punk then tags in Miz and the Miz goes nuts on Del Rio. Miz yells at Dibiase and says, “This is going to be you at the PPV!” Miz then nails Del Rio with a Skull Crushing Finale. Miz then hooks the leg, 1…2…! Wow again Del Rio survives.

Miz stands up now, and regains strength. Del Rio crawls to his corner and tags in Ryder. Zack explodes in the ring, and nails Miz with a combo of kicks and punches. Ryder hops to the top rope, and hits a diving body press. Ryder with a quick cover, 1…2…! And Miz kicks out at 2. Ryder then bounces off the ropes and hits a big leg drop onto the Miz’s face. Ryder with another cover, 1…2…! And Miz fights out once more. Ryder stands, and Miz tags Dolph Ziggler.

Ziggler charges Ryder and tries for a shoulder tackle. But Ryder ducks it and bounces off the ropes. On the rebound Zack jumps for a dropkick. But Ziggler counters and slams Ryder. Dolph with a cover now, 1…! Oh Ryder kicks out at 1. Dolph then stands Ryder, and backs him into the corner. Ziggler tags Ted, and they do a tag team move. Dolph stretches out Ryder’s arm to full extension, and Ted jumps off the top rope and forearm smashes Ryder’s arm.

Zack stumbles into his own corner, and Del Rio smacks him. Making him the legal man and Del Rio beats down Dibiase. Del Rio whips Ted into the ropes then hits a hip toss off the rebound. Here is Del Rio locking in the Cross Armbreaker. But CM Punk brakes up the hold. Del Rio then stands and nails a ddt on CM Punk, and what’s this Ziggler is turning on Punk, and pulled him out of the ring, and began to stomp on him.

COMMERCIAL

We come back from a quick brake, and Ziggler is out of the ring brutalizing Punk. Dibiase is crawling toward Miz for a tag, and Del Rio is crawling toward Otunga for a tag. Alberto tags Otunga, but Miz jumps off the apron, so Ted can’t tag him.
Otunga drags Dibiase back to the center of the ring, as the brawl between Ziggler and Punk continues. Justin Gabriel rushes over to Punks aid, and hits a falling backbreaker on Ziggler. But then Miz nails a Skull Crushing Finale on Justin into the steel steps.

Miz then jumps back up on the apron and is laughing at Dibiase who is getting destroyed by Otunga. David whips Ted into the corner. But before Otunga gets over there, Dibiase quickly tags in the Miz then rolls out of the ring. Miz is angry but has to fight. On the outside of the ring Punk has regained control against Ziggler and is stomping on his back, and Dibiase is helping Justin up.

In the ring Miz whips Otunga into the ropes. But on the rebound David hits a big dropkick. Justin and Ted return to their respective corners. Otunga tries for a cover on Miz, but Miz kicks out at 2.

COMMERCIAL

We come back, and everyone, are in their corners, however everyone is beat up. Otunga and Miz are still in the ring, and Miz is destroying David. Miz then tags in Ziggler, but as Dolph is climbing into the ring Punk, smacks Dolph’s back. Making him the legal man, Punk laughs then picks up Otunga. Here comes the GTS, and Punk nails it, and then goes for the cover, 1…2…! What’s this Dolph Ziggler just broke up the cover.

Punk is angry so he tags in Miz, then attacks Ziggler. Again there is a fight outside of the ring. David tags in Gabriel, and Gabriel appears to be beating the Miz bad, but the Miz counters a punch into a ddt. Outside of the ring Punk has Ziggler on his shoulders and is going to try for the GTS. But Ziggler fights off, and hits a Zig Zag. But when Dolph fell he hit the steel steps, now both men are out cold on the floor.

Miz hits a big suplex on Gabriel, and Gabriel is lying motionless on the mat. Ted calls for a tag, but Miz just punches him, and Ted falls off the apron. Miz does some showing off and takes heat. Then he hops up to the top rope, and is going to hit a diving leg drop on Gabriel.

On the outside of the ring, Ryder left his corner and helped up Punk, and Dibiase is slowly climbing up the steps. Miz raises his arm on the top rope, but then Dibiase reaches the top step, and pushes the Miz off. As the Miz is falling toward Gabriel, Del Rio smacks Justin’s hand, making him the legal man, then on impact Miz smashes his face into Gabriel, and now both men are out cold in the ring. Now here is Del Rio sneaking a pin on Miz, 1…2…3! Oh my what a main event, it was absolute chaos!

Ted Dibiase, Justin Gabriel, Zack Ryder, and CM Punk all walk off together. David Otunga tends to the Miz, and Del Rio celebrates in the ring.
