WWE Optimus: Monday Night Raw 10/1/12

Segment 1~
The opening pyro explodes, but it is instantly cut off by Dolph Ziggler’s music. Ziggler walks out and the fans boo him. He looks pissed and walks to the ring and gets in. He calls for a mic and is handed one.

Ziggler: Shut up.

The fans boo louder.

Ziggler: Shut up!

Again the crowd gets louder.

Ziggler: I said shut up!!! How dare you disrespect me!!! I’m a legend even at my young age… And yet I’m not even the WWE Champion!!! You know what I blame that on? Poor management!!! I blame my former manager Vickie Guerro for never succeeding at pushing me to the top!!! I blame the GM of Raw, Teddy Long for not giving me a WWE Championship Match in the past few months!!! Hell Teddy should have just given me the damn championship!!! It’s pitiful that I continue to be walked over!!! It’s pitiful that I’m the best damn wrestler in this company today, but yet I have nothing to show for it!!! And it’s pitiful that!!!

Just then John Cena’s music hits. Cena walks out to a big pop and he salutes to the crowd, then runs down to the ring. He slides in and then a crew member hands him a mic.

Cena: Ziggles… Ziggles… Ziggles… Poor Dolphy!!!

The fans cheer and laugh.

Ziggler: You shut the hell up!!!

Cena: Please, who are you Chris Jericho? Look bud, have you ever thought that maybe you’re just a little cocky.

Ziggler: It’s not cocky, if you back it up!!!

Cena: Then damn it kid back it up!!! What have you done in the past months to prove you deserve a shot at the WWE Championship!!! Because Zack Ryder worked his damn ass off to get that championship, and I doubt he would be pleased if you were just granted a title shot!

Just then Zack Ryder walks out on the stage with his WWE Championship over his shoulder and a mic in his hand. The fans cheer for him.

Ryder: Cena is right Dolph!!!

Ryder walks down to the ring.

Ryder: Look we have both gone from the bottom up in this company. We both had to work to get where we are… But as of late I’ve worked harder… And now look at me I’m the WWE Champion!!! I’m on top of the world, but at least I’m humble. At least I don’t sit around and complain or talk trash!!!

Just then Teddy Long walks out onto the stage to a big pop.

Long: Hold on playas, look Dolph you’re talented but you need to watch who you run your mouth off to. And I will admit you probably deserve a numbers one contender’s match… So right now you will face John Cena, and the winner will take on Zack Ryder at Hell In A Cell for the WWE Championship!!!

Teddy walks off as Cena stares down Dolph.

Cena: It’s time to put up or shut kid, but you better prepare to get your ass whooped!!!

Match 1~
Number One Contenders Match for the WWE Championship
Cena tosses his shirt into the crowd, while Ziggler tears his off trying to show off. Then Zack Ryder joins the commentators. The bell rings and here we go!!! Dolph and John lock up, and Cena pulls Ziggler into a side headlock. But then Ziggler shows John into the ropes. John returns and nails a shoulder tackle to Ziggler. John then hits the ropes again, returns, and nails another shoulder tackle to Ziggler. And then he hits the ropes a third time as Dolph rises to his feet, and he nails another shoulder tackle!!! John then picks up Dolph and tries for a side slam. But Ziggler counters it in mid-air into a bulldog!!! The crowd boo’s as Dolph rolls Cena over and hooks his leg, 1…NO!!! Cena kicked out at 1!!!

Dolph then stands up Cena, but John throws him into the ropes. Ziggler rebounds and leapfrogs over Cena and hits the ropes again. He then rebounds again and Cena drops to the mat, and Ziggler hops over him and hits the ropes again. Cena then gets up and prepares to clothesline Dolph. But Ziggler hung onto the ropes and Cena is confused! And Dolph runs up and kicks him in the face!!! But Cena gets back up quickly, but Ziggler is quick to strike with right hands, then a nice standing dropkick!!! Dolph covers again, 1…NO!!! Cena kicked out at 1 again!!! Well Dolph is upset that he can’t put Cena away as we head to a commercial break!!!

Commercial Break

We come back and Cena is on the mat and Dolph is facing away from him climbing to the top rope. But John gets up and shoves him off!!! And Dolph falls and hits the security barrier!!! Cena climbs out of the ring and grabs Ziggler and smacks his face against the steel steps. John then hits a fisherman suplex on Ziggler!!! The fans cheer as John climbs into the ring hoping that Dolph won’t get back in the ring before the ref reaches 10! But Dolph climbs in right at 9!!!

But when he comes in Cena pulls him into a side headlock, flips him to the mat, and tries for a headlock submission!!! But Ziggler is fighting to his feet, but John still has the hold!!! Dolph gets up, but Cena flips him back down to the mat, and continues to apply pressure with the headlock!!! But Ziggler is reaching for the ropes, can he do it!!! Yes he does!!! Ziggler grabs the ropes and Dolph let’s go!!! Dolph and Cena both stand up and Ziggler tries for a roundhouse kick, but Cena ducks, picks up Dolph and then hits a big spin out powerbomb!!! The fans go wild as Cena then hops to his feet and raises his arm in the air!!! Cena then does the You Can’t See Me taunt!!! He hits the ropes, returns, shimmies, and goes for the Five Knuckle Shuffle. But Dolph rolls out of the way!!!

Dolph then hops to his feet as Cena is on his knees trying to get back up. But Ziggler hits the ropes, returns, and nails a low dropkick to John’s knees!!! Ziggler then stands up Cena and nails him with a fireman’s carry gutbuster!!! And now Cena slowly but surely stands up using the ropes, but Dolph jumps onto his back and tries to lock in a Sleeper Hold. And Cena is really struggling!!! But Cena grabs ahold of Dolph and throws him over his shoulder and slams his down to the mat!!! Cena then hits the ropes, rebounds, shoulder tackle to Ziggler! Cena hits the ropes again, rebounds, second shoulder tackle to Dolph! Cena hits the ropes a third time, rebounds, third shoulder tackle!!! Now Dolph slowly stands up, John picks him up and nails a big side slam!!! Cena then taunts Dolph to get up! Ziggler slowly stands up, Cena picks him up on his shoulders, then nails the AA. Cena covers, 1…2…NO!!! Dolph kicked out!!! Dolph Ziggler just kicked out!!! Cena can’t believe it!!!

Cena then stands up Ziggler and puts him up on his shoulders again! He is going for another AA. But no Ziggler fights out with elbowing Ziggler to the head! And Dolph hits the ropes, rebounds, and nails a Zig Zag. Dolph covers, 1…2…3!!! And Dolph did it!!! Dolph just beat John Cena!!! Oh my!!! Cena can’t believe it!!! Ziggler gets up and begins to celebrate as Cena rolls out of the ring and is in shock!!! He can’t believe he just lost!!! He walks to the back with his head down! And Ziggler will be facing Zack Ryder at Hell In A Cell!!

Commercial Break

Segment 2~
We return from the break and we see Cena backstage and he is flipping out!!! He is tearing up equipment, throwing chairs, and yelling and screaming!!! Well Cena is not too happy about his loss!!! This is a Cena that we haven’t seen recently… He is really upset!!! We then head over to the interview area where Matt Striker is with Ryback.

Striker: Ryback tonight you compete in your first main event here on Monday Night Raw. Now who your opponent will be hasn’t been named yet, but still how do you feel about it.

Ryback: I’m ready to rock, I’m ready to rumble, and I’m hungry!!!

Striker: Okay, how do you feel about being compared with guys like Goldberg, and even Kane!

Ryback: I don’t care who people compare me to! I’m my own person! I’m an animal of a whole new breed!!! FEED ME MORE!!!!!!!!!

Ryback storms off!!!!

Match 2~
Number One Contenders Battle Royal for the United States Championship
Out first comes the United States Champion Drew McIntyre. Drew makes his way to the commentators table to a big pop. He waves and smiles at the fans. Out next to compete is Jack Swagger, then Santino Marella, then R-Truth, then Damien Sandow, the Michael McGillicutty with his tag partner Ezekiel Jackson!!!

The bell rings and here we go!!! Santino and Truth team up against Michael and Ezekiel, as Damien and Swagger attack each other. Santino charges Michael but gets dropped with a clothesline from Jackson out of nowhere. Truth then charges Jackson, but Ezekiel picks him up, tosses him in the air, and McGillicutty dropkicks him in mid-air!!! McGillicutty then grabs Truth and tries to eliminate him, as Ezekiel does the same thing to Santino! Meanwhile Jack Swagger picks Sandow up over his head and throws him out of the ring!!!

Damien Sandow Eliminated

Damien Sandow begins to walk up the ramp, but Brodus Clay comes running down the ramp and attacks him!!! Brodus is getting his revenge for Damien distracting Clay in his match on SmackDown, which caused Brodus to lose!!! Meanwhile McGillicutty is about to eliminate Truth, but Jack Swagger grabs him and nails a German suplex. Seeing that he attacked his tag partner, Ezekiel goes after Swagger. But Jack nails him with a leg sweep. Then Swagger goes after R-Truth. While Santino grabs Jackson, tries to hit a body slam, but collapses and Jackson lands on top of him! Then Truth charges Swagger, but Swagger nails a military press slam!!! Then tosses Truth out of the ring!!!

R-Truth Eliminated

Jackson then puts Santino up against the ropes and charges to clothesline him out. But Santino ducks and Jackson spills out of the ring. Then McGillicutty gets up, charges Marella, but Santino nails him with a superkick, then McGillicutty stumbles into Swagger, and Swagger whips Michael out of the ring!!!

Ezekiel Jackson and Michael McGillicutty Eliminated

It’s now Santino and Swagger left in the match!!! Santino teases an attack, and circles Jack!!! Michael Cole plugs Santino’s MMA fighting style (Marella Martial Arts). Finally Marella rushes in and begins hitting Swagger with right hands!!! And he backs him into the corner. Santino then charges and tries for a corner splash! But Swagger kicks Santino with a big boot, then nails a big belly to belly suplex! Swagger then transitions over Santino and on top of him, stands him up, and nails a belly to back suplex!!! And Michael Cole then praises Swagger for those moves, and credits it to his Collegiate wrestling background!!!

Swagger then waits for Santino to get up! Picks him up, and tries to toss him out with a Gutwrench Powerbomb. But Marella slips through and kicks Swagger in the back of the knee. Santino then runs and hits the ropes, rebounds, and tries to clothesline Swagger out. But Jack picks him up and tosses him over the ropes. But Santino lands on his feet on the apron. Swagger turns around and Santino nails him with an enzuigiri from the apron!!!! Santino then climbs to the top rope, dives, and hits the diving headbutt!!! The fans go crazy as Santino then whips out the Cobra. He goes for it, but Swagger ducks, picks him up on his shoulders, and nails the Gutwrench Powerbomb that tosses Santino out of the ring!!! And Swagger has gained the number one contendership for the U.S Championship!!!

Swagger begins to celebrate and Drew gets up and enters the ring to congratulate Jack. But when McIntyre goes to shake his hand, Swagger punches him, picks him up and nails the Gutwrench Powerbomb. The fans boo Swagger big time!!! Jack then calls for a mic and a crew member hands him one.
Swagger: Good luck Drew…. You’re going to need it!
Swagger walks off to major heat!!!
Winner: Jack Swagger

Commercial Break

Match 3~
Seth Rollins vs. Jinder Mahal
Seth Rollins is out first to a mixed reaction, and Jinder Mahal is already in the ring. The bell rings and here we go!!! Jinder is quick on offense and begins to attack Seth with right hands!!! But Seth fights him off and gains control with a few kicks to Jinder’s mid-section. Seth then nails Mahal with a DDT. He then stands up Jinder, tosses him into the ropes, and then nails a scoop slam!!! Now Seth backs off and lets Mahal get to his feet, then hits him with the Avada Kedavra. Seth covers, 1…2…3!!! And Seth just picked up his second victory here tonight on Raw, and it was another quick win just like on SmackDown!!! Seth calls for a mic.

Rollins: The Rollins Revolution started on Friday, and progressed tonight!!!! To be continued….

Seth dropped his mic then walked off to a mixed reaction.

Segment 3~
John Cena rushes into Teddy Long’s office looking pissed.

Cena: Teddy I want a rematch, or another shot to get into the WWE Championship at Hell In A Cell!!!! I promise, I can do better next time, I don’t know what happened out there! Just please you know me I’m good for my word!!!!

Long: Okay Cena, since I like you enough. Next week you will take on an opponent of my choosing, if you defeat that opponent you get added to the championship match, but if you lose. Well you go to the back of the line!

Cena: Okay deal!

Cena then turns around and runs into Dolph Ziggler.

Ziggler: Pathetic… begging for a match!!!

Cena looks like he is going to say something but just tenses up then walks off. Ziggler laughs and Teddy Long shakes his head at him.

Match 4~
Mason Ryan vs. The Big Show
Mason Ryan comes out first to a big pop. Out next is The Big Show. Big Show gets a lot of heat walking to the ring. The bell rings and the two men lock up!!!! Big Show gains control and tosses Mason into the ropes, then nails a huge clothesline off the rebound!!! Big Show then stands up Mason and hits a military press slam!!! Big Show drops down and covers, 1…NO!!! Mason Ryan kicked out!!! The Big Show hops up, hits the ropes, returns, and nails an elbow drop!!! Covers again, 1…NO!!! Mason powered out again!!!

Big Show then locks in a headlock!!! But Mason Ryan is fighting to his feet. Ryan gets up, but is still bent over in a headlock position. But he manages to shove Big Show into the ropes. Big Show rebounds and Ryan nails a big boot!!! Mason Ryan drops down and covers, 1…NO!!! Big Show kicked out! Mason Ryan then climbs to the top rope as Big Show stands up, and Mason hits a diving clothesline!!! Mason Ryan then stands up Big Show and puts him in a fireman carry slam position, but Big Show spins through and kicks Mason in the stomach, then hits a fireman’s carry slam himself!!! Big Show covers again, 1…2…NO!!! Mason Ryan kicked out 2!!!

Big Show then stands up Mason and tosses him into the corner. He charges and nails a big corner splash. Mason then stumbles to the center of the ring and Show charges for a Spear. But Mason Ryan kicks him in the head!!! Ryan then stands up Show and puts him in a Full Nelson, and right before Big Show breaks out of the hold Mason nails Show with a Full Nelson Slam. Mason covers, 1…2…NO!!! Big Show kicked out!!! Mason Ryan seems upset so he stands up Show tosses him into the ropes, and hits a shoulder block on the rebound. Mason Ryan then stands up Big Show and hits a fisherman drop!!! And Mason Ryan then shows Big Show out of the ring!!!

Now Mason stands in the ring and shows off and the fans cheer. But meanwhile Big Show reaches under the ring apron and grabs a chair. Mason gets out and then Mason hits him with the chair!!! And Big Show snapped!!! Show continues to attack Mason with the chair, and eventually security run to the ring and separate Big Show and walk him to the back!!! Doctors then help Mason Ryan! Well that was uncalled for and I’m sure Mason will be unhappy about it!!!
Winner: Mason Ryan via DQ

Match 5~
Tyson Kidd & Justin Gabriel vs. The Reformers
Tyson Kidd & Justin Gabriel are out first to big pops. Then out comes Cody Rhodes and Daniel Bryan, both with mics.

Bryan: Ladies and gentleman!!!!

Rhodes: Welcome to our second demonstration!!!

Bryan: This past Friday me and Mr. Rhodes showcased our talent when we defeated The Uso’s!!!

Rhodes: That we did!!! But we made it perfectly clear; we will not stop at one tag team!!!

Bryan: We will keep on clawing our way to the top!!!

Rhodes: Destroying everyone in our path until we reach the top!!!

Bryan: Until we become the tag team champs!!!

Rhodes: We are changing the landscape of the tag team division!!!

Bryan: So Tyson… Justin… Prepared to be!

Rhodes & Bryan: REFORMED!!!!

They drop the mics and climb into the ring. Tyson Kidd and Cody will be starting this off. The bell rings and Tyson quickly goes behind Cody and hits a German suplex. But Cody gets back up quick, but Kidd clotheslines him to the mat. Tyson then hits the ropes, rebounds, and hits a leg drop! Tyson covers, 1…NO! Kick out by Rhodes!!! Kidd then stands up Cody, but gets shoved into the ropes. Tyson rebounds and Cody nails a shoulder tackle, picks him up, and nails a fisherman suplex!!!! Rhodes then attacks Tyson in the corner after he stood up and fell over! Rhode kicks and stomps on Kidd! Rhodes then stands up Kidd, tosses him into the ropes and when Kidd rebounds Cody nails a big dropkick!!!

Rhodes then stands up Kidd and goes for the Cross Rhodes. But Kidd shoves Cody into the corner and then falls over and tags in Justin Gabriel. And Cody falls over and tags in Daniel. Justin comes in hot off the tag and nails a clotheslines, hits the ropes, returns, hits another clotheslines, hits the ropes, returns, then clotheslines him again!!! Then Justin hits the ropes, springboards, and then nails a springboard crossbody!!! The fans go crazy as Justin Gabriel then hops to his feet and climb to the top rope! He dives for the 450 Splash. But Rhodes pulls Daniel out of the way!!!

Tyson Kidd then gets in the ring and taunts Rhodes! Cody then gets in and him and Tyson go at it!!!! Bryan gets up and regains his strength in the corner while Justin gets to his feet. The ref breaks up Tyson and Rhodes, and then Bryan charges Gabriel and hits a running spinning heel kick!!! The fans boo Bryan as he then waits for Justin to get up. Gabriel stands and Daniel nails him with a roundhouse kick! And Daniel drops down and locks in the LaBelle Lock. And Tyson Kidd is about to get back in and break it up!!!! But wait Rhodes went around the ring and pulled Kidd off the apron!!! The fans boo as Gabriel has no choice to tap!!!! Daniel Bryan shoves Gabriel out of the ring then Rhodes gets in and the two celebrate to a lot of heat!!!!!

Main Event~
Ryback vs. ???
Ryback’s music hits and the fans go crazy!!! And Ryback comes out to the biggest pop!!! He walks down to the ring to chants of, “Feed me more!” He gets in and waits for his mystery opponent! And this is Ryback’s first main event match! This is huge!!! Then Sheamus’s music hits!!! The fans cheer as Sheamus comes out to a big pop!!!! This is going to be classic, both of these men are strong and dangerous!!! The wrestlers shake hands then the bell rings!!! They lock up but Sheamus pulls Ryback in a side headlock then starts hitting him in the face!!! But Ryback slips out of the headlock, kicks Sheamus in the stomach, then tries for a fallaway slam! But when he tosses Sheamus back, Sheamus lands on his feet then nails a big clothesline!!! Sheamus covers, 1…NO!!! Ryback kicked out at 1!!!

Sheamus then stands up Ryback but gets shoved into the corner! Ryback then charges but Sheamus hits a back elbow, Ryback stumbles to the center of the ring, Sheamus charges, and hits a knee to Ryback’s face!!! Sheamus then quickly nails a front powerslam!!!! Sheamus covers again, 1…NO!!! Ryback powered out quickly again!!! Sheamus then stands up Ryback and tosses him out of the ring!!!
He gets out grabs Ryback and smacks his face against the security barrier! Then tosses him into the steel steps! These two may have respect for each other, but they are putting it all on the line in this match up!!! Sheamus then rolls Ryback back in the ring and Ryback stands up using the ropes! Sheamus charges for the Brogue Kick. But Ryback ducks out of the way and Sheamus gets caught up on the ropes! Ryback picks up Sheamus for a powerbomb! But Sheamus slips over Ryback’s shoulders and rolls him up, 1…NO!!! Ryback kicked out!!! Both men hop to their feet, Ryback turns around, and his hit by the Brogue Kick. Sheamus covers, 1…2…NO!!! Ryback kicked out!!!

Sheamus then locks in the Cloverleaf. Half the fans are cheering for Sheamus while the other half is cheering for Ryback!!! And Ryback is fighting to reach the ropes! Can he do it? He does!!! He grabs the ropes and Sheamus must break the hold!!! Ryback gets up and falls to his knees, he then rolls out of the ring to gain his strength as we head to commercial!!!

Commercial Break

We return and both wrestlers are in opposite corners. They get up, meet in the middle, and begin trading right hands! Back and forth! The crowd is going wild! Sheamus then blocks a right hand, and whips Ryback into the ropes! Ryback rebounds and nails a shoulder tackle! Ryback then picks up Sheamus and nails a release powerbomb!!! Sheamus then gets up and Ryback tosses him into the ropes, and when Sheamus returns Ryback nails a big spinebuster!!! Ryback drops down and covers, 1…2…No!!! Sheamus kicked out right at 2!!!! The fans cheer as Ryback then stands up Sheamus and tries for a Shell Shocked. But Sheamus escapes, Ryback turns around, Sheamus tries for the Brogue Kick. Ryback ducks, turns Sheamus around, and hits an overhead belly to belly suplex!!!!

Ryback and Sheamus both stand and but Sheamus stumbles into the corner! Ryback charges and hits a big corner splash! Then begins attacking Sheamus with right hands to the stomach! Sheamus then stumbles to the center of the ring; Ryback climbs to the top rope, and hits a spear from the top rope!!! Ryback covers, 1…2…NO!!! Sheamus kicked out!!! They stand up and Ryback goes for a head kick, Sheamus ducks, picks up Ryback, and nails the White Noise out of nowhere!!! Sheamus covers, 1…2…NO!!! Ryback kicked out!!! Sheamus then stands up Ryback, puts him on his shoulders and nails the Celtic Cross. Sheamus covers again, 1…2…NO!!! Ryback kicked out!!! Ryback survived!!!

Sheamus stands and is in shock! Disbelief! How did Ryback survive? Sheamus then taunts for the Brogue Kick. He goes for it but Ryback ducks, and nails a military press powerslam!!! The stadium goes crazy as Ryback then stands up Sheamus and nails a belly to back suplex!!! The fans go wild! Then Ryback waits for Sheamus to get up and nails him with the Shell Shocked. Ryback covers, 1…2…3!!! Ryback did it!!! Ryback won his first ever main event match!!! Ryback helps Sheamus up and they embrace! Sheamus then walks off as Ryback celebrates!!!! But then fire explodes out of the ring post out of nowhere!!! And Ryback is shocked!!! WHAT JUST HAPPENED?????
