Collision Course Wrestling from Minneapolis, Minnesota

The opening video plays as, “Bury Me with My Guns On,” by Bobaflex plays over the arena in Minneapolis, Minnesota! The fans are going crazy as Collision Course Wrestling comes on the air! Tonight we see the fallout from One Night Only unfold as we begin to go down the road to Summer Clash. Let’s head down to the commentators table with Scott Stanford and Mike Tenay!

Stanford: “Hello and welcome to Collision Course Wrestling! I’m Scott Stanford alongside my partner in crime Mike Tenay! Mike!”

Tenay: “Thanks Scott! This past Sunday was One Night Only, and it was awesome! We saw DH Smith capture the Television Championship! We crowned a CCW World Champion, Matt Hardy! And there were many more great matches tonight!”

Stanford: “Right you are Mike! And now since we are on the road to Summer Clash which takes place in four weeks, I’m sure we are going to have a great show!”

Matt Striker climbs into the ring with a mic.

Striker: “Ladies and gentleman please welcome the GM of CCW! Mick Foley!”

Mick Foleys music hits and the fans go wild! Foley comes out in his vintage plaid shirt and he high fives fans all the way to the ring. He grabs a mic and climbs into the ring!

Foley: “Thank you… Thank you… Thank you… Well I have a big announcement regarding Summer Clash!”

The fans cheer!

Foley: “At Summer Clash we will be having a Championship Cash In Match! Now how the CCI Match works is we have six wrestlers competing in a ladder match! The first wrestler to scale the ladder and retrieve the briefcase with the CCI Contract in it, wins the match! Once they have the CCI Contract they can cash it in for a World Championship Match at any point when the CCW World Champion is in the ring!”

The crowd goes wild for this announcement!

Foley: “And tonight we will have our first two qualifying matches for the CCI Match! In one of those matches a well-known superstar will be competing! Well catch you later! BANG, BANG!”

Foley walks to the back to a big reaction as we head to a short commercial break!

Commercial Break

We return from the break and Davey Richards is walking down to the ring as Striker introduces him, “The following match is a CCI Qualifying Match! Introducing first from Othello, Washington! Davey Richards!” The fans cheer for Davey as he climbs into the ring and stands face to face with Roderick Strong, who came to the ring during the commercial, “And his opponent from Tampa, Florida! Roderick Strong!”

The two stare each other down then the bell rings. Roderick instantly chops Davey across the chest, and Davey looks pissed! Richards picks up Strong and slams him down to the mat and unloads with left and rights. Davey then stands up Strong and nails a side slam, and he covers which gets a one count! Richards then backs off and lets Roderick get to his feet! When his opponent does stand up Davey tries for the DR Driver. But Roderick nails a dropkick from out of nowhere!

Davey is down now as Roderick climbs to the top rope. Strong raises his hand in the air and then dives for an elbow drop! But Davey just rolled out of the way and Strong appears to have injured his elbow with that move! Richards quickly brings Strong to his feet, and then nails a snap ddt. And Davey covers again, one…two…no! Roderick kicked out just in time!

Richards looks a little frustrated so he stands up Roderick and tosses him into the ropes. Strong returns and Davey drops down to the mat and Strong hops over his opponent, and then hits the ropes again. When Roderick returns the second time Davey nails a hip toss! Strong comes up into a seated position and Richards’s runs into the ropes, he returns and plants Strong back down with a big boot!

Davey is in control now as he waits for Strong to stand up, and he goes to whip him into the corner. But Roderick counters and whips Davey into the corner. Roderick then charges for a clothesline, but Richards jumps out of the corner and Strong runs face first into the ring post. Strong stumbles to the center of the ring by Davey, and Davey nails the DR Driver. He drops down and covers and the ref makes the three count! And Davey will be moving on to Summer Clash in the CCI Match!
We head backstage where Mick Foley is sitting in his office looking over some papers, when CCW Ladies Champion, Mickie James walks in.

James: “Mr. Foley you wanted to see me?”

Foley: “Don’t act sweet with me! Mickie what you did to Natalya at One Night Only was wrong! You’re lucky that Natalya isn’t suing you for her medical bills! Not to mention she isn’t able to wrestler for two months due to her injuries! But since she won’t sue, I’m still going to have to punish you! And that means you will be defending your CCW Ladies Championship every week! Tonight you face Gail Kim!”

Mickie James looks pissed as she walks out Mick Foley’s office.

Back in the ring Matt Striker introduces the next competitors, “The following match is set for submission, introducing first from Calgary, Alberta, TJ Wilson!” The former Television Champion comes out from behind the curtain to a lot of heat. The fans don’t like him since he attacked his former friend DH Smith after DH defeated him at One Night Only. TJ Climbs into the ring as Striker continues, “And now coming to the ring from Great Britain! He also competes for LLWE! Now making his CCW debut! The British Kid!” The British Kid comes out and the CCW fans chant, “TBK! TBK! TBK!”

The bell rings and here we go. TJ and TBK lock up in the center of the ring. TJ pulls TBK down into a side headlock then nails a running bulldog. TJ then tries for a headlock, but The British Kid easily reaches out and grabs the ropes, thus causing TJ to break the hold. Both men stand and Wilson goes to grab TBK, but the elusive native of Britain sneaks past TJ and nails a German suplex, and impressively transitions into an ankle lock submission! TJ struggles but is able to spin around and kick TBK into the corner.

Wilson stands up and The British Kid charges for a clothesline, but TJ counters with a back drop. TJ then hits the ropes, returns, and nails a double leg drop across TBK’s chest. The fans give TJ heat as he stands up and shows off a bit. But as he is showing off TBK jumps on his back and tries for a sleeper hold. But TJ pulls TBK over his shoulder, and lifts him up for a Brainbuster. But TBK slips through and reverses the move into a Backstabber. Now TBK locks in the Figure Four Leglock, and Wilson has no choice but to tap out!

The British Kid gets up and celebrates his debut victory! The fans are cheering him on but TJ Wilson attacks him from behind! And TJ is beating TBK down but here comes the Television Champion, DH Smith! DH slides into the ring and Wilson quickly flees! DH checks on TBK as we head commercial break!

Commercial Break

We return and Mickie James and Gail Kim are both in the ring. Striker introduces them, “In this corner, she is the challenger! Gail Kim!” The fans cheer for Gail as she smiles and waves. Striker says, “And in the other corner, she is the CCW Ladies Champion! Mickie James!” Mickie takes major heat as she raises her championship high.

The bell rings and the two women lock up. Mickie throws Gail down to the mat then jumps on top of her and unloads with rights and lefts. Mickie then begins to bash Gail’s head against the canvas! The ref pulls Mickie off of Gail and warns her. But as soon as Kim gets to her feet Mickie James grabs her and tries for the Mickie DDT. But Gail Kim pushes her into the ropes, and when Mickie returns Gail nails a facebuster! The fans cheer for Gail as covers, one…no! The champ kicked out at two!

Gail then stands up and goes to the corner as Mickie gets to her feet. Gail goes to climb to the top rope but here comes James charging for a corner clothesline. But Gail Kim tucks in her knees and Mickie crashes into them and falls to the mat. Kim then climbs all the way up to the top rope and dives off! She nails a double leg drop! She hooks Mackie’s legs and the ref counts to two!

Gail seems upset that she can’t put Mickie away and she goes to stand up the champ! But Mickie James pokes Gail Kim in the eyes! Mickie then kicks Gail into the corner. James hops to her feet and charges the corner! And Mickie connects with a splash in the corner. And she pushes Gail to the center of the ring, and she charges for the Chick Kick. But Kim dodges it and rolls up Mickie, one…two…no! Mickie James reversed the pin and rolled Gail over, one…two…three! And Mickie James got the victory and has kept her title! The fans boo Mickie as she grabs her title belt and walks off!

Backstage Matt Hardy is being interviewed by JB.

JB: “Matt this past Sunday at One Night Only you won the main event to capture that CCW World Championship! How are you feeling right now?”

Hardy: “I’m beat up real bad JB! Shane Douglas and I both gave it 110 percent, and I managed to pull out the victory! But at this point all I can say is I’m looking forward to Summer Clash when Goldust and I compete!”

Goldust then walks up and shakes his head.

Goldust: “Matt Hardy… Matt Hardy… Matt Hardy… Here is the deal buddy! I’m Goldust the best wrestler in the business today! I can’t and won’t lose! I promise you that! I’m the king of physiological warfare! I’ll be in your head by Summer Clash… And then I will destroy you!”

Goldust laughs creepily and then walks away. Matt Hardy just shakes his head.

Back in the ring Matt Striker has introductions for the main event.

Striker: “Ladies and gentleman it is now time for the main event of the evening! This match is a Ladder Match, and is a qualifier for the CCI Match at Summer Clash! The firs wrestler to retrieve briefcase that is above the ring wins the match! Introducing first from Leipers Fork, Tennessee! James Storm!”

James Storm comes out to a big reaction from the fans! He climbs into the ring as Matt Striker introduces his opponent!

Striker: “And now his opponent! He is one of the most well-known wrestlers in the business today! He hails from Cleveland, Ohio! The Miz!”

“Awwwwweeeeesoooooommmmmeeeeee!” The Miz comes out and the fans boo him. The Miz is a huge superstar in wrestling, and it’s a shock to see him here in CCW! The Miz climbs into the ring and stares down James Storm, as crew members set up ladders around the ring.

The bell rings and here we go. Miz charges James Storm right away, but gets nailed by a spear out of nowhere! The fans go crazy as Storm gets up laughing. James Storm then leaves the ring and grabs a ladder. He struggles getting the ladder back in the ring, and this allows The Miz to grab it and set up. The Miz begins to climb up the ladder but James Storm pushes it over. The Miz falls and crashes into the ropes.

James Storm then grabs the ladder and slams it down on Miz’s right leg! The fans go wild as Miz screams in pain! And then James Storm strikes Miz in the left leg with the ladder! And now the ladder is broken! Storm tosses the ladder into the corner and then stands up The Miz. He goes to whip Miz into the corner, but Miz reverses it and throws James Storm into the corner. And Storm crashes into the ladder and it breaks in half!

Miz laughs as he then stands up James Storm and nails the SKF. James Storm is down and this is a perfect opportunity to get a ladder into the ring. The Miz leaves and grabs a ladder and slides it into the ring. He stands up the ladder and begins to climb. But before he can make it up to high James grabs his foot! But The Miz shakes Storm off and continues to climb. But Storm slowly gets up and begins to climb up behind Miz. Storm then pulls The Miz off the ladder but he falls down with him! And both men hit the canvas hard! We are now headed to a commercial break but don’t go away!

Commercial Break

We return and see Miz pounding on James Storm in the corner. Miz then backs off and charges for a clothesline. But James Storm catches Miz and tosses him over the ropes. Miz falls into one of the ladders that was set up on the outside. James Storm then grabs the ladder that was in the ring and tosses it at Miz. And it hits Miz right in the chest and he is in pain!

Storm leaves the ring and goes after Miz. He stands up Miz and a belly to belly suplex. Storm then picks up his opponent and nails a running side slam onto the pile of ladders! The Miz is screaming in pain and I think James Storm now might have a chance to win the match. He grabs a ladder and climbs into the ring. But right when he sets it up Mr. Anderson’s music hits.

Anderson comes onto the stage and flips James Storm off. This distracts James Storm and he begins to yell at Anderson. And here comes The Miz sneaking in behind Storm with a chair. He smacks James in the back of the head with the chair. The Miz then stands up Storm and nails the SKF onto the chair. Now The Miz climbs up the ladder and grabs the briefcase! The Miz has won, what an impact The Miz has made he will be moving onto Summer Clash in the CCI Match! Anderson walks away laughing as James Storm is left in the ring shocked! The Miz celebrates as CCW goes off the air!
