WWE Optimus Monday Night Raw 7.23.12

The only feuds that are being continued are The Rock/Chris Jericho Summerslam 2012 feud. And The Rock/Brock Lesnar WrestleMania 29 feud.

Opening Segment (0)~
The pyro explodes as WWE Optimus: Raw comes on the air from. Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler welcome us to the show and hype up the matches for tonight. We get word that the Raw, Mr. Money in the Bank, Tyson Kidd well be making an appearance tonight! And that The Rock is in the house! Let’s get on with the show!

Segment 1 (1)~
The Big Show’s music hits and he comes down to the ring with his WWE Championship that he won at MITB, when the title was vacant. The fans are booing Big Show as he grabs a mic and climbs into the ring.

Show: Shut the hell up!

The fans continue to boo him.

Show: I said shut the hell up! Is this any way to treat your WWE Champion? I’m currently holding the most prestigious title in this company, and that is the respect I get!

Once again the fans boo, this time even louder!

Show: Seriously shut the hell up! For years I have worked my ass of in this company, for years I have been the gentle giant! But for years I have been pushed around by management! But those days are over, because I’m the WWE Champion! And no one will take this title away from me! I mean no one!

Just then Tyson Kidd’s music hits. Tyson comes out with his MITB briefcase and he gets a huge reaction. He walks down to the ring smiling and waving at all of his fans. He grabs a mic and climbs into the ring.

Show: Don’t even start Kidd! Don’t even start!

Kidd: Show what happened to you man? You used to be such a cool guy, the fans used to love you. But once you got a taste of being in the spotlight you changed! I don’t get it!

Show: You wouldn’t understand Tyson because you have never been a world champion in the WWE!

Kidd: Your right Show I haven’t. But I’m on my way to be one! I can promise you Show, when I cash in this briefcase on you, I will beat you to become the WWE Champion!

Big Show drops his mic like he is about to hit Tyson Kidd with the W.M.D. but then Ric Flair’s music hits. The GM of Raw comes out on the stage with a mic and the fans are cheering for him.

Flair: Watch it you two! I don’t want a brawl breaking out on my show! But both of you will be wrestling tonight. Tyson you’re going to be in the main event against Kane, and Big Show you will be facing Tyler Rekks & Curt Hawkins! Oh and I almost forgot, there will also be a 10 Man Over the Top Rope Battle Royal to name a number one contender for your championship Big Show! And that match is next!

Big Show looks pissed as Tyson Kidd smiles and walks off to a big reaction. He gets to the stage and raises his briefcase high, and then Big Show raises his title up in the air as we head to commercial.

Match 1 (2)~
Number One Contenders Match for the WWE Championship
Were back from the break and we see Big Show at the commentators table with his WWE Championship. In the ring 5 of the participants for the Battle Royale have already come out. They are Michael McGillicutty, Ezekiel Jackson, Randy Orton, Tyler Rekks, and Curt Hawkins. Then Sin Cara’s music hits. The fans cheer as Sin Cara runs down to the ring and slides in. Next out is David Otunga; Otunga gets a lot of heat walking to the ring. Heath Slater is the 8th man to walk out and he takes heat. Santino then comes out to a decent reaction from the crowd. And lastly out is The Miz to a big pop, The Miz comes out in his jacket and he looks prepared.

When the bell is rung it is all out chaos. Tyler Rekks and Curt Hawkins attack Randy Orton. While Ezekiel Jackson and McGillicutty trade blows. Heath Slater goes after Sin Cara. And David Otunga attacks Santino and The Miz. Tyler Rekks tosses Randy Orton toward Curt Hawkins, but Orton ducks and hit the ropes. This causes Hawkins to crash into Tyler Rekks, then Randy returns and nails a shoulder tackle that nocks down both men. Meanwhile David Otunga is hit by The Cobra, and then he stumbles right into the SKF from The Miz. Miz stands up Otunga and tosses him out of the ring. But wait what is this! Santino is charging The Miz, but The Miz ducks and Santino goes stumbling over the ropes!

David Otunga & Santino Marella Eliminated

The Miz then turns his attention to Heath Slater who is pounding on Sin Cara in the corner. On the other side of the ring Michael McGillicutty has Ezekiel Jackson on the ropes and he is about to push him out! But Ezekiel begins to fight back with hard right hands! And Jackson fights Michael off! But here comes McGillicutty charging fast! But he gets planted by a big boot from Ezekiel! Now on the other side of the ring Orton nails a scoop slam to Curt Hawkins, then as Randy stands up Tyler Rekks runs toward him! But Orton catches Tyler with a huge hip toss that sends the wrestler out of the ring! The fans cheer for Orton as he waits for Curt Hawkins to get to his feet! Hawkins is up and Orton nails him with an RKO. Randy stands up Curt and sends him over the ropes.

Tyler Rekks & Curt Hawkins Eliminated

It is now down to Michael McGillicutty, Heath Slater, Sin Cara, Ezekiel Jackson, The Miz, and Randy Orton. Sin Cara is down in the corner and The Miz is striking Heath with kicks and right hands. The Miz then pulls Heath Slater in and nails a ddt! But here comes Sin Cara flying off the ropes and nails The Miz with a crossbody! Sin Cara stands up Heath Slater and tosses him out of the ring and to the floor. He then grabs the Miz, but Miz pushes him into the ropes! The Miz then nails a big boot to Sin Cara that pushes him out of the ring!

Heath Slater & Sin Cara Eliminated

But then Miz turns around into an RKO from Randy Orton! And The Viper is on fire! Randy then turns his attention to Michael McGillicutty and Ezekiel Jackson. McGillicutty has Ezekiel on the ropes, but is struggling to get him out of the ring. So Randy runs over and smashes their heads together then pushes the both of them out of the ring!

Michael McGillicutty & Ezekiel Jackson Eliminated

Randy then turns back around and sees The Miz still lying on the ground. Randy Orton walks over stands him up and nails him with another RKO. And Randy stands Miz back up and nails another RKO. The fans have no idea what is wrong with Orton, because he brings The Miz up and once more nails a RKO. And this one has to be over because Orton is about to push Miz out of the ring! But no The Miz grabs the ropes and elbows Orton in the jaw! And The Miz is fighting back with right and left hands! Miz whips Orton into the corner! Charges and nails a clothesline! The fans cheer as The Miz then tosses Randy out of the ring!

Randy Orton Eliminated

The fans cheer for The Miz as he celebrates in the ring. Somehow The Miz survived four RKO’s and still pulled out the victory! But here is Big Show coming in behind The Miz! The Miz turns around and Big Show nails him with the W.M.D. The Miz is down and the fans give Big Show heat as he walks off! Well at Summerslam, Big Show will wrestle The Miz with the WWE Championship on the line!

Segment 2 (3)~
Backstage Damien Sandow is talking to AJ.

AJ: I love men with big…

Just then R-Truth walks by and looks at AJ weird.

AJ: Brains! Big brains!

R-Truth shakes his head and walks off.

Sandow: I do consider myself the most intelligent man in the WWE. And I would love to treat you to a candle lit dinner at my home tomorrow night!

AJ: I would like that so much!

AJ smiles and walks off. Just then the U.S. Champion, Justin Gabriel walks up.

Gabriel: You two need to get a room!

Sandow: Listen to the incompetent champion! I know that jealousy consumes you when you see a higher life form like me speaking to a striking young woman like AJ! But please don’t reflect your anger upon me, just try to better yourself my simple minded friend!

Gabriel: Look Damien I’m not your friend! And I’m not incompetent! In fact I bet I can beat you out in the ring!

Sandow: The only way I will sink to your level and face you in a match is if I’m granted a title match against you at Summerslam if I defeat you tonight!

Gabriel: Done!

Sandow: In the words of John Cena, “I will lay yo ass down for the three second tan!”

Sandow walks off and Gabriel just smiles and looks at his title belt.

Match 2 (4)~
Singles Match
Brodus Clay vs. Ryback
Brodus Clay’s music hits and he comes out with Cameron and Naomi. The three are dancing and the fans love it! They dance all the way to the ring! Ryback’s music then hits, and Ryback walks down to the ring to a decent pop! The bell rings and here we go! Brodus and Ryback lock up! Brodus quickly pushes Ryback into the corner, but Ryback flies out of the corner and spears Brodus to the mat! Ryback then unloads with rights and lefts!

Ryback then stands up Brodus and tries for a suplex! But as Ryback struggles to get Brodus off the ground, Brodus shoves Ryback into the ropes! Ryback returns and Brodus nails him with a huge clothesline. Brodus hits the ropes, rebounds, and tries for the Ah Funk It. But Ryback rolls out of the way and Brodus smacks the mat. Ryback then allows Clay to get up, and he uses all of his strength to nail him with an overhead belly to belly suplex that sends Brodus crashing face first into the ring post! Clay is hurt and Ryback pushes him out of the ring! The ref begins to count, 1…2…3…4…5…No movement from Brodus…6…7…8…9…10! And Ryback wins it! But the win was by count out! The fans boo Ryback, he may still be undefeated but this is almost a tainted victory!

Singles Match
Titus O’Neil/w Darren Young & AW vs. Comacho/w Hunico
Titus O’Neil comes out with Darren Young and AW! Titus and Darren are holding their WWE Tag Team Championships and the fans are cheering for them! But as they are half way down the ramp Comacho and Hunico run out and attack from behind! AW quickly grabs the title belts so his clients can fight back! The four men brawl down to the ring and then Titus and Comacho climbs in the ring and the ref rings the bell. The two men continue to trade blows. Comacho backs Titus into the corner, but Titus picks up Comacho and throws him back. Comacho then stands up but O’Neil drops him with a big boot! Titus covers, 1…2…NO! Kick out by Comacho!

Titus then picks Comacho up and tries for a fall away slam. But Comacho lands on his feet behind Titus, and then runs into the ropes. Titus turns around and gets hit by a shoulder tackle from Comacho. And O’Neil is back up again but catches another shoulder tackle! And O’Neil rises once more but gets hit with a third shoulder tackle! The fans boo Comacho as he stands up Titus and nails a ddt, 1…2…NO! Titus O’Neil kicked out! The fans cheer for Titus but Comacho appears to be going for something big. Comacho stands up and walks into the corner. He climbs up to the top rope and dives off and connects with a diving headbutt! Titus is in pain and Comacho slowly covers, 1…2…NO! O’Neil somehow kicked out and Comacho can’t believe it!

Comacho then waits for Titus to stand up and he tries for a Powerbomb. But Titus slips through and goes for the Clash of Titus. But Comacho counters that and goes for sitout suplex slam. But O’Neil counters again and once more goes for the Clash of Titus. But no, Comacho counters and lifts Titus up and nails the Powerbomb. Comacho covers, 1…2…3! And Comacho did it! Comacho and Hunico quickly walk up the ramp to avoid confrontation with Darren Young and AW, who get in the ring and check on Titus O’Neil!
Winner: Comacho

Segment 3 (6)~
Backstage Ric Flair is in his office when Tyson Kidd walks in.

Kidd: Hey Ric you wanted to see me?

Flair: Yea Tyson I just wanted to let you know I support you 100 % and I hope that when you cash in your MITB briefcase. That you beat The Big Show!

Kidd: Thanks Ric!

Tyson shakes Flair’s hand then walks out.

Match 4 (7)~
Singles Match
Damien Sandow vs. United States Champion Justin Gabriel
Damien Sandow’s music hits and he comes down to the ring to a mixed reaction. Then Justin Gabriel’s music hits and he walks out with his championship and the fans give him a warm welcome. Gabriel climbs into the ring and stares down Damien as we head to a short commercial.

Commercial Break

Were back and the bell is rung! The two men lock up in the center of the ring and Justin Gabriel goes behind Damien and picks him up and hits a side slam. The fans cheer as Damien slowly stands up and Justin hits the ropes, springboards and nails a crossbody to Sandow! Justin hooks Sandow’s legs, 1…NO! Damien kicked out at 1! Gabriel then stands up Damien and kicks him in the leg, then kicks him in the midsection, then nails an enzuigiri that nocks Damien down. Justin drops down and covers again, 1…2…NO! Sandow got a shoulder up just in time!

Justin Gabriel stands up and goes into the corner. But Sandow quickly gets up and rushes Gabriel. He nocks Justin’s legs out from under him and Gabriel crashes onto the top of the ring post with his crotch! Damien then climbs to the top rope and stands up Gabriel! He then nails a superplex! And now both men are down! But Sandow is slowly moving and he is about to pin Gabriel! But AJ’s music hits! Damien stands up in surprise and AJ comes skipping down the ramp. Damien asks her what she is doing. She jumps up onto the apron and begins to make out with Damien! The fans cheer! AJ then shoves Damien away! Sandow turns around and gets hit by a spinning heel kick from Justin Gabriel! And Gabriel covers, 1…2…3! And Justin did it!

Damien looks upset that he lost but he doesn’t know what to do about AJ who is now in the ring. Damien tries to talk to AJ but she just giggles and shoves him out of the way. She then jumps into Justin’s arms and begins to make out with him! After about 30 seconds AJ gets off of Justin then skips off. Damien and Justin just stand in the ring not knowing what the heck is going on!
Winner: Justin Gabriel

Divas Match
Divas Champion Natalya vs. Katelyn
The Divas Champion Natalya is out first to a lot of heat from the fans. Next out is Katelyn who gets a good reaction. She walks down to the ring and as soon as she climbs in Natalya grabs her and begins to attack with right hands! Natalya then tries to slam Katelyn, but Katelyn reverses and nails a facebuster! Katelyn then stands up as Natalya rises! Katelyn hits the ropes and returns for a clothesline but Natalya counters with a fall away slam! Katelyn slowly stands up and Natalya grabs her and tries for a ddt! But Katelyn reverses and nails a huge spinebuster! And Katelyn covers, 1…2…3! And Katelyn did it! Katelyn just beat the Divas Champion, and that could easily put her in position for a title shot!

Segment 4 (9)~
Backstage Tyson Kidd is being interviewed by Josh Matthews.

Matthews: Ladies and gentleman please welcome my guest at this time! Mr. Raw MITB! Tyson Kidd! Tyson tonight in the main event you’re going up against Kane! Now Kane is a lot bigger than you how are you going to manage that?

Kidd: Well Josh I’m going to have to strike a lot wiser! I’m going to attack the legs to weaken him, and then use my high flying style to take him down! Hopefully it works!

Matthews: Well it seems like a good strategy! Best of Luck Tyson!

Tyson and Josh shake hands and then Tyson walks off.

Match 6 (10)~
Handicap Match
Big Show vs. Curt Hawkins & Tyler Rekks
Big Show comes out first to a lot of heat. He just screams at the fans then climbs into the ring. Out next are Curt Hawkins & Tyler Rekks to a mixed reaction. They seem prepared for this match up! But wait what’s this? The Big Show has left the ring and now he is attacking Tyler Rekks & Curt Hawkins. He grabs Tyler and drops him back first onto the top of the fan barrier! Then he grabs Curt Hawkins and slams his head against the steel steps! And the ref rings the bell before this one could get started! Big Show stands above Hawkins & Rekks! Those two had no luck in the Battle Royal earlier! And they have no luck in this match either! We head to commercial
Winner: No Contest

Segment (11)~
The Rock’s music hits and the fans go crazy. The Rock comes down to the ring and grabs a mic. He climbs into the ring and raises his eyebrow before speaking.

Rock: Finally The Rock has come back to St. Louis!

The fans cheer for The Rock.

Rock: Well you all know that at Summerslam it’s me, The Rock vs. Chris Jericho! The man who claims to be the best in the world, yet he walks around dressed like a fruit cake with that sparkly vest! He looks like a stray dog from Canada got tangled up in Christmas tree lights!

The fans laugh.

Rock: But enough with the insults! Enough with the joking around! I want to speak to Chris Jericho man to man! So Chris come out here!

The lights go out and then the pyro goes off! Jericho’s music hits and the fans give him a mixed reaction as he comes out onto the stage! He then walks down to the ring and is checking out his own jacket as if he doesn’t know why The Rock was insulting him. He grabs a mic and then climbs into the ring.

Jericho: What could you possible want Dwayne?

Rock: I simply wanted to paint a mental picture of our match at Summerslam for you! And it goes like this! We’re going to be brawling back and forth! But The Rock like he always does gets control and he is going to deliver the Rock Bottom! The fans will be going wild and then I will execute the Peoples Elbow! And just like Stone Cold Steve Austin, just like Hulk Hogan! I will pin you for the three count!

The fans cheer for The Rock.

Jericho: Is that so? Is that really what you thing Rock? Look you can dream up outcomes all you want! It’s great that you have such a broad imagination! But imagination only gets you so far! Sometimes you have to snap back to reality! Sometimes you have to smell the roses! So wake up and smell the roses Rock! You are not going to win at Summerslam!

Rock: You know Chris that is an interesting analogy! But I’m envisioning something now right now! And I’ll show you where my imagination is at right now!

The Rock grabs Chris Jericho and nails him with the Rock Bottom. The fans go wild as The Rock raises his arm! And I think The Rock is going to try for the Peoples Elbow! He hits the ropes! But out of nowhere Brock Lesnar slides into the ring and clotheslines The Rock! Brock Lesnar then picks up The Rock and nails the F-5! Brock Lesnar is The Rock’s opponent for WrestleMania 29, a match that was scheduled just after WrestleMania 28! Brock Lesnar gets huge heat as he walks off!

Main Event (12)~
Singles Match
Kane vs. Tyson Kidd
The lights go out and then fire explodes on the stage. Kane’s music hits and he comes out to heat from the fans. He slowly walks to the ring and just has this evil presence around him. He climbs into the ring and raises his arms and fire explodes out of the ring posts! Next up is Tyson Kidd, Kidd comes out with his briefcase and the fans are cheering for him! He runs down to the ring and slides in! He and Kane have a stare down before Tyson hands his briefcase to a WWE Crew Member who sets it aside!

The bell rings and here we go! Tyson starts it off by kicking Kane a few times in the legs. But Kane catches Tyson’s legs then out of nowhere picks him up and nails a Chokeslam. But before Kane can pin Tyson, Kidd rolls out of the ring to regain his strength! Tyson is stumbling around in pain as the ref begins his ten count! And Tyson manages to make it back in at 8! But when he climbs in Kane picks him up and tosses him into the corner. Kane follows and begins to punch Tyson in the stomach! Kane then pulls Kidd to the center of the ring and tries for a ddt. But Tyson gets out of it and runs into the corner. Kane charges for a big boot, but Tyson dives out of the way and Kane gets caught up in between turnbuckles. Tyson then hits the ropes, springboards, and nails a kick to Kane’s head! Kane falls to the mat and Tyson covers, 1…2…NO! Kick out by Kane!

Tyson then climbs up to the top rope as Kane rises. Tyson jumps for a diving clothesline! But Kane catches him and tries for another Chokeslam. But Kidd kicks Kane in the knee and The Big Red Monster loses his grip. Kane then tries for a clothesline, but Tyson ducks and goes behind Kane. He grabs Kane’s arm and twists it around the big man’s back. Then he kicks his opponent in the back of the knee. Kane turns around but stumbles to one knee. Tyson then hits the ropes, returns and nocks Kane down with a shoulder tackle! And Tyson hits the ropes, springboards, and nails a moonsault! The fans cheer big for Tyson as he covers, 1…2…NO! But Kane tossed Tyson Kidd off of him, and Tyson collided with the ref and nocked the ref down!

The ref rolls out of the ring in pane! And here comes The Big Show as both Tyson and Kane are down! Big Show gets in the ring and beats the shit out of Tyson Kidd! And he nails him with the W.M.D. Big Show leaves the ring and stands on the outside, as the ref climbs into the other side of the ring! Kane picks up Tyson Kidd and nails the Tombstone Piledriver. Kane covers, 1…2…3!

And Kane won with an assist from The Big Show! Kane is celebrating as Big Show gets back in the ring and continues to assault Tyson Kidd! But then the lights go out! The fans don’t know what’s going on! They come back on and Big Show and Tyson Kidd are both down on the outside! Kane is standing in the center of the ring and The Undertaker is standing behind him! Kane turns around and The Undertaker picks him up and nails the Tombstone Piledriver. The fans cheer as The Undertaker kneels above Kane! Well what a night we have had! But were left wondering why The Undertaker attacked his brother?
Winner: Kane
