SummerSlam 2005: Shawn Michaels vs Hulk Hogan

This match is great just for the way HBK performs. You have to see it to believe it. Was he being a jerk? Maybe, but he was playing the heel. And he did everything he could to make Hogan look like he actually had any power.

One of my favorite ladder matches. Before all these young punks like Edge and Hardy, who try to say they're the kings of ladder matches - everyone knows HBK is the true king of the ladder match.

This one is just a really fun match, and was the starting point for HBK's incredible heel turn in 1997.

Anytime you've got these two, it's going to be great. Surprisingly, this is one of the few good Undertaker matches in all of SummerSlam history. (the other one I've got above!)

you know these are all spectacular matches but i would like to point out that even though this is so called "hardyville" the Hardy boyz actually have not had good success here and i cant bear to believe that since im a huge Jeff hardy fan and that he cant be successful on arguably one of the best PPV's ever. 7/10/09 10:30 PM |
