Bragging Rights Predictions from Cletus

Tonight is the Bragging Rights PPV.  I'm taking on only one challenger tonight - RobWWEUniverse, who is the league admin for the WWE Universe league.  If I win, he's going to post a blog about all the leagues that place in the top 10 for this PPV and give his thoughts on each. 

I am currently in Delaware and scheduled to get back to NYC right around 7pm - but that's to the train station.  I'll be frantically running to catch the N/D train back to my place in time for the PPV tonight.  I might miss the first few minutes, so the Live Scoring & Results blog might kick off just a little late.

Also not going to get too detailed below in my picks, since I don't have as much time as I normally would.

*** Raw vs Smackdown Bragging Rights Match

My Prediction: Triple H & Shawn Michaels & Big Show & Cody Rhodes & Mark Henry & Jack Swagger & Kofi Kingston, No - no interference

My Thoughts: It's the flagship show.  Unless they are continuing the Raw vs Smackdown feud to Survivor Series, I don't see any result other than Raw picking up the win here.  I find it a little ridiculous this is a one-fall match, so it doesn't really prove anything to fans as to which side is better, but whatever!

*** Match for the World Heavyweight Championship
CM Punk vs. Batista vs. Rey Mysterio vs. Undertaker (c) 

My Prediction: CM Punk, No - no interference

My Thoughts: I don't know why they ever took the belt off of Punk.  Presumably so he can win it against all the top names on Smackdown.  He's the only heel in this match, so the odds are stacked against him - which is why I think he's got to come out with the title.

*** Iron Man Match, for the WWE Championship
John Cena vs. Randy Orton (c) 

My Prediction: Randy Orton, Yes - interference

My Thoughts: I just want this feud to be over and I'd love to not have to watch Cena anymore on Monday nights.

*** The Miz vs. John Morrison

My Prediction: John Morrison, Pinfall, No - no interference

My Thoughts: Really looking forward to this one.  I'd love to see Miz pull out a win, but I think Morrison is closer to the main event so he should get the victory.

*** Divas Bragging Rights Match

My Prediction: Michelle McCool & Beth Phoenix & Natalya Neidhart

My Thoughts: Well, I think if Raw wins the main match, Smackdown should win the divas match.  That's why I'm picking that way,

*** Will a member of any Bragging Rights Match team defect to the other side (or to ECW) during their match?

My Prediction: No

My Thoughts: It'd be interesting but I don't see it happening.

*** Who will win the match for his team in the Raw vs Smackdown Bragging Rights Match?

My Prediction: Big Show

My Thoughts: It's hard to pick this one, but I'm going for Show pinning Jericho since it's the most intriguing finish I can think of.

My Prediction: Chris Jericho

My Thoughts: See above.

*** Who will be pinned or made to submit in the World Heavyweight Championship match?

My Prediction: Batista

My Thoughts: Don't see Taker taking the fall, and I'd like to see Mysterio and Punk feud for the TLC PPV. 

*** Will Ted DiBiase Jr interfere in the Iron Man match?

My Prediction: Yes, he will get physically involved with John Cena

My Thoughts: I could see DiBiase swinging a chair at Orton, who ducks it just in time..  resulting in DiBiase cracking Cena's skull and allowing Orton to get the final decision.

My Prediction: 1 to 4

*** How many decisions will Randy Orton earn in the Iron Man match?

My Prediction: 1 to 4

*** How many titles will change hands at Bragging Rights?
