Survivor Series Predictions from Cletus

The WWE Survivor Series PPV is tonight, so time for me to get my predictions up..  Getting challenged by jmt5887 for the show.  Check below for all my picks and thoughts!

Bragging Rights: #355 (Site) -- #23 (League: WrestleHut 2000)
Hell in a Cell: #712 (Site) -- #33 (League: WrestleHut 2000)
Breaking Point: #277 (Site) -- #27 (League: WrestleHut 2000)

*** Match for the WWE Championship
*** Shawn Michaels vs Triple H vs John Cena (c)

My Prediction: Shawn Michaels, Pinfall, No - no interference

My Thoughts: Part of me just wants to see Shawn Michaels win the title.  Part of me just wants to see John Cena lose the title.  And part of me just can't see any plan in place for who would challenge Cena next, were he to retain tonight.  Orton can't challenge Cena again for the title.  I don't really want to see repeated matches between HHH/HBK/Cena, we already know how poorly that turned out buyrate-wise for Cena/Orton.  So I'm sticking my neck out on this one - it's a big 4 PPV, and a title should change, right?

*** Match for the World Heavyweight Championship
Big Show vs. Undertaker (c)  vs. Chris Jericho

My Prediction: Undertaker, Pinfall, No - no interference

My Thoughts: I don't see Undertaker losing the title in a triple threat match to these guys.  The story seems more about JeriShow than it does about any issues between Taker and either Jericho or Show.  Though I wouldn't be shocked to see the title change here - I'm still wondering how Taker is going to defend the title at the TLC PPV, unless his match isn't a TLC match.  But we do have a 3-hour Raw that would be just perfect for swapping the title..

*** Rey Mysterio vs. Batista

My Prediction: Batista, Pinfall, No - no interference

My Thoughts: Well, Mysterio is hurt right now, so I'm going with Batista.  That's all I'm going with, and I think it's enough.

*** Team Kingston vs Team Orton

My Prediction: Randy Orton & Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase Jr & William Regal & CM Punk

My Thoughts: Kofi Kingston has been getting the upperhand a lot lately, so I think it's time for Orton to get one over on him before we get the big singles matches between the two of them

*** Team Morrison vs Team Miz

My Prediction: John Morrison & Matt Hardy & Evan Bourne & Finlay & Shelton Benjamin

My Thoughts: The Miz won at Bragging Rights, so I'm picking Morrison's team to win here.  Another pretty simple pick for me.

*** Team Mickie vs Team McCool

My Prediction: Michelle McCool & Jillian & Beth Phoenix & Layla & Alicia Fox

My Thoughts: Apparently WWE isn't that big on Mickie James right now, so I'm picking the heels to win.  I don't know if that's enough of a reason to make this pick, but there's not really anything else to go on.

*** Who will be pinned or made to submit in the WWE Championship match?

My Prediction: John Cena

My Thoughts: Because I'd much rather see HHH vs HBK than John Cena vs anyone.  But without pinning HHH, it's not like it would immediately split DX up.  And I don't think they're quite ready to split.

*** Who will be pinned or made to submit in the World Heavyweight Championship match?

My Prediction: Big Show

My Thoughts: I think JeriShow is ready to split, though, and a finish where Jericho sacrifices Big Show to Taker would work perfectly..

*** Who will win the match for his team in Team Kingston vs Team Orton?

My Prediction: Randy Orton

My Thoughts: I couldn't really find anyone else on his team who I thought would get the win.  Either because they haven't gotten much of a push lately or for lack of being a top star.

*** Who will be the final survivor on the losing team in Team Kingston vs Team Orton?

My Prediction: Kofi Kingston

My Thoughts: Yeah, I expect to get a nice singles match between Orton and Kingston at the next PPV, so I think Orton pinning Kingston here works out just fine.

*** How many eliminations will Randy Orton score in Team Kingston vs Team Orton?

My Prediction: 2

My Thoughts: I think he'll get one early on, let his team do the work, and then he'll get the final one.

*** Who will win the match for his team in Team Morrison vs Team Miz?

My Prediction: Finlay

My Thoughts: This was a bit of a random pick for me.

*** Who will be the final survivor on the losing team in Team Morrison vs Team Miz?

My Prediction: Drew McIntyre

My Thoughts: Again, a bit of a random pick for me.

*** How many eliminations will The Miz score in Team Morrison vs Team Miz?

My Prediction: 1

My Thoughts: I think Swagger will get one, too, but that will be all of the eliminations they get.

*** Who of the following will make a live appearance at Survivor Series?

My Prediction:
None of the above

My Thoughts: I'd love to see a surprise but I doubt we'll get one.

*** How many titles will change hands at Survivor Series?

My Prediction: 1

My Thoughts: The WWE Championship.
