TLC Tables Ladders and Chairs Predictions from Cletus

I'm out of town right now (getting back in plenty of time for the PPV of course), so I have to make this post a little bit shorter than I'd like.  But I am being challenged tonight by Magic8Ball - somehow I think if he relies strictly on the Random Pick, I'll win.  But he might have some tricks up his sleeves!

Sheamus vs. John Cena (c) 

My Prediction: John Cena, No - no interference

My Thoughts: I would LOVE for Cena to finally drop the belt, but Sheamus isn't ready for it, so I don't expect it here.

*** Chair Match, for the World Heavyweight Championship
Batista vs. Undertaker (c) 

My Prediction: Batista, Yes - interference

My Thoughts: This is my "out-on-a-limb" pick.  I don't think Undertaker needs the title, ever again, and Batista's new heel character probably would benefit from it.  Hence, my pick!

*** Tables, Ladders, and Chairs Match, for the Unified Tag Team Championship
Shawn Michaels & Triple H vs. Chris Jericho (c)  & Big Show (c) 

My Prediction: Shawn Michaels & Triple H, No - no interference

My Thoughts: They keep shoving the whole "never been tag champs" (even though of course HBK and HHH have been tag champs various times, just not with each other) down our throats, so I am figuring they're going to end up with the straps.  It's about time to start the push to (hopefully) HBK vs HHH at WrestleMania..  and what does WWE love?  Making the tag champs slowly start to get torn apart!

*** Ladder Match, for the ECW Championship
Shelton Benjamin vs. Christian (c) 

My Prediction: Christian, No - no interference

My Thoughts: This one is too hard for me to pick really.  I'd like to see Benjamin win, and Christian move off ECW..  but I gotta go with Christian.

*** Match for the Intercontinental Championship
Drew McIntyre vs. John Morrison (c) 

My Prediction: Drew McIntyre, Pinfall, No - no interference

My Thoughts: Unless they want to Ziggler the new guy they've got big hopes on..  they should give him the big win.  Morrison would be a decent guy to move into a feud with the new champ Batista, if you ask me!

*** Kofi Kingston vs. Randy Orton

My Prediction: Kofi Kingston, Pinfall, Yes - interference

My Thoughts: I expect Priceless to get involved, but I'm hoping perhaps they accidentally cost Orton the match.  (Marine 2?)

*** Match for the Women's Championship
Mickie James vs. Michelle McCool (c) 

My Prediction: Michelle McCool, Pinfall, No - no interference

My Thoughts: With all the talk of WWE not being high on Mickie..  I just had to pick Michelle.  But who knows?  I'm not the biggest follower of anything but Raw.

My Thoughts: Was tempted to pick Rey, for some involvement in Batista/Taker..  but generally speaking "None of the above" ends up correct for these questions.

My Thoughts: I might not have counted my picks right, but I just went for 2. 

*** Which match will be the opening match of the PPV?

My Prediction: The Intercontinental Championship Match

My Thoughts: Seems like it'd be a solid opener.  Women's match will definitely be later to be a break period, so this one fits the bill to start.

*** Which match will be the final match of the PPV?

My Prediction: The WWE Championship Tables Match

My Thoughts: I'm SHOCKED how many picked DX vs JeriShow to close the show..  I suppose it's possible, but I would be a little agitated if a world title match didn't close this PPV.  It happened once already this year at HIAC..  hopefully not again.
