Divas on Monday Night Raw
Since it's been a while since I've written any fantasy booking, and steinersaysuhhh kicked things off pretty well this week, I just wanted to write this down quick while it's still fresh in my mind.
WHERE THE HECK IS GAIL KIM?
Yeah, she's on Smackdown, I know she gets a match here or there.. but she almost single-handedly turned TNA's women's division around (not to discredit the trainers involved, they played a big part too), and she's been used basically in no big way since jumping to WWE.
Raw has Beth Phoenix and Mickie James - arguably the two best women wrestlers in the mainstream outside of Awesome Kong - and neither of them have been used that well in past months, either! Why NOT put Gail Kim on Raw? I mean, I know the women's wrestling isn't the big thing we're all tuning in to see, but it's a hell of a lot better than the comedy bits Raw creative has been putting together!
How difficult would it be to put one person in charge of booking the divas on Raw each week? Take Mickie, Beth, Gail, Maryse, Jillian (who's a good worker in an awful gimmick), Kelly Kelly, and Rosa (she CAN work, right? I wouldn't know it from watching WWE), and put together a singles match each week. And cut all the crap! Just let them go out and work!
Just one nice match a week. If we're not going to get it with the guys, let's get it with the girls. And I bet Gail, Mickie, and Beth could TEAR THINGS UP if given a chance together!
It's a small thing, but it'll add to the overall product. And trying to make the show PG? Having the women go out there and, oh I don't know, ACTUALLY WRESTLE, is probably positive for your image!

And of course I forget my fantasy booking portion.. but maybe that's for the best. Well, forget that. In a nutshell, I think Gail Kim should work a deal "behind the scenes" on her own (obviously, by all this I mean this is how it's presented to us, the audience), get a deal where she comes to Raw and gets an immediate title shot when she wants it, and basically have it presented like Gail Kim has masterminded a plot to get onto Raw and make the match with Maryse at any time - and she does it, and wins the title. Now Gail Kim immediately looks smart to the fans (getting deals done behind the scenes, when have they ever written a diva to do something like that?), strong in her first win on Raw, and you build to the big feud between Phoenix and Kim. A feud that I really think fans would care about, as much if not more so than the existing top feuds on Raw. Yes. i remember a few years ago when there was a battle royal on RAW for the women's championship including molly holly (GOD I miss her and wish she would show her gorgeous body back on RAW to wrestle.), victoria, trish stratus just to name a few and Gail Kim won the battle royal becoming the ffirst diva in WWE history to win the title on her debut, then she defended it well and I feel that she was blackballed and then disappeared for a couple years.
