RHOMBUS predicts CYBER SUNDAY

Here's my predictions for tomorrow's PPV!  I've been posting these around the net but this is the most updated version.

*** Match for the World Heavyweight Championship
Batista vs. Chris Jericho (c) 

My Prediction: Chris Jericho, Pinfall, Yes - interference

My Thoughts: I would rather Batista win but I'm trying to play smart this time around.  They've made Batista look way too good lately to have him win here.  He's def the best but if he was winning I think Jericho would have outsmarted him and tricked him in some way on the go-home episode of Raw.  Plus I really like Y2J a lot so I don't want to see his reign cut short.  I would assume this feud will continue to Survivor Series.  Since both of these guys WALK ALOOOOOONNNNEE (especially thanks to Cade), it'll probably be a singles match instead of a Survivor Series team match - and I'm predicting a Batista win there!

*** Match for the WWE Championship
Mystery Wrestler vs. Triple H (c) 

My Prediction: Triple H, Yes - interference

My Thoughts: Jeff Stupid Hardy will win the votes because of his messed up fanbase.  Since he screwed himself out of winning the title for at least 5 more months now, I think this one ends in a Kozlov run-in.  He'll go straight for HHH, leading to the DQ win for my man Hunter.  I would guess HHH/Kozlov is the SD main event for Survivor Series (and I ask WHYYY).

*** Match for the ECW Championship
Mystery Wrestler vs. Matt Hardy (c) 

My Prediction: Matt Hardy, Pinfall, No - no interference

My Thoughts: I still like you Matt.  I think they're really solidifying Matt's reign as ECW champ, so that when they take the title off of him, you don't forget about Matt leading ECW for a long time and he can help build up everyone else.  I think this will be a competitive match with either Finlay or Bourne.

*** Big Show vs. Undertaker

My Prediction: Big Show, Yes - interference

My Thoughts: This feud isn't over and the typical Undertaker feud has his opponent winning every big match until the last one - and usually the last win from his opponent involves a lot of interference.  I do think Show will have a lot of help here, maybe we'll get the return of EDGE finally?  (and for the record when Edge comes back I think he will be moved to Raw within the first month)

*** Match for the Intercontinental Championship
Mystery Wrestler vs. Santino Marella (c) 

My Prediction: Santino Marella, Pinfall, Yes - interference

My Thoughts: Ok this Santino guy actually got funny this week on Raw, so I'm changing my tune about him.  I think Beth helps him pull this off.  Though I can't imagine the IC title being given to any of his opponents..  the possibility of Santino purposely getting DQ'd or counted out has crossed my mind.  Seems like the old school Honky Tonk Man strategy even if it will make for a bad match.  Oh, maybe he will try to get counted out only to have the other two choices appear and push him back to the ring?  YOU HEARD IT HERE FIRST!

*** Kane vs. Rey Mysterio

My Prediction: Rey Mysterio, No - no interference

My Thoughts: This is a stupid match and feud that no one cares about.  If sick fans vote to see this 3 times, I am breaking a bottle over my own head.

*** Match for the United States Championship
Mystery Wrestler vs. Shelton Benjamin (c) 

My Prediction: Mystery Wrestler, Pinfall, No - no interference

My Thoughts: WHATS UP?  WHATS UP?  I don't really follow this stuff much.  I used to like Shelton though, but I think the US title could use some shaking up.

My Prediction: Yes, in the WWE Championship match

My Thoughts: Kozlov will run-in on this one.  I considered it for Henry but I think that will be after the match.  Though with his burial on Monday who knows if they even do that.

*** Which diva will win the Halloween Costume Contest?

My Prediction: Maria

*** Who will the fans vote to be the referee of Batista vs Jericho?

My Prediction: Stone Cold Steve Austin

My Thoughts: Should be HBK but I'll pop for Austin too.

My Prediction: Evan Bourne

My Prediction: The Honky Tonk Man
