Top 5 Wrestling PPV Theme Songs
These are the greatest PPV theme songs of all time according to me. I'm not so fond on the way these are done today - with supposedly known bands. I like the old ones that were made in-house.
#5. WCW Halloween Havoc 1991
Probably because I had this on VHS and watched it all the time when I was like 6 years old. It's totally spooky!

#4. WWE WrestleMania (one of the classics, used multiple times)
Just hearing this makes me think I'm about to see something exciting. Old school WrestleManias 3, 4, 5, and 6 (not certain that this theme was used for all of those, just mentioning them) had this special quality where it feels like one of the biggest events of all-time.

#3. WWE WrestleMania 17
My Way - Limp BIzkit. Yeah, the band sucks, but this song should be honored it was used in some of the best video packages ever to promote Rock/Austin. Just thinking about that feud has this song pop into my head. Shame about what band made it, but I just pretend it's a WWE in-house creation to push Rock/Austin!

#2. WWE WrestleMania 23
Ladies and Gentlemen - Saliva. Another horrible band, but I'm okay admitting I enjoy this song. Prob again because of its relationship to a WWE PPV. This song made WM23 feel more special to be honest. The show didn't top WM17, but this song is way better than My Way.

#1. WWE SummerSlam (one of the classics, used multiple times)
This was for sure on 1991, 1991 was my first PPV I ever saw with the Match Made in Heaven and the Match Made in Hell. I think I'd seen some before but I was too young to still remember it now. This song is just awesome. I think they used it up to 1994 or so. I would love for them to go back to this one!!! Feels like SUMMER!!!

I always see this blog post when I look at my stats in Google. This blog post comes up #1 when you do a Google search for "wwe ppv theme songs" - that's pretty sweet. :) Two of the videos aren't working anymore. Problem of using YouTube as a video host.
