WWE Superstars on WGN: Giveaway Contest Time!

Okay guys, everyone who expressed interested and even anyone who hadn't commented on it before - now's the time to set out all the rules for the giveaway!

First and foremost, you have to be a registered member here at fourdown.org to participate - because you're going to have to post a blog.  Can't do that without having an account, so make sure to sign up if you want to take part!

And what's the prize?  Each winner will receive a WWE Superstars hard plastic water bottle with carrying case, subject to availability.  It's possible that with limited supplies, you may receive a substitute prize - I've seen John Cena 12 Rounds posters being given out also through a similar giveaway (also through WGN America).  Personally, I'd rather the water bottle myself!  (but of course, I'm not going to consider myself eligible for the giveaway)

Here is how you can take part and possibly be one of the lucky three to win a prize:

(1) Watch WWE Superstars on WGN America on Thursday night - it airs at 8pm Eastern & 8pm Western. 

(2) Come here to http://www.fourdown.org and make a blog post with your review / thoughts on the show.  As long as you talk about what happened on Superstars, you can feel free to add additional thoughts about wrestling in general - but you have to include your own personal thoughts about the matches that air on Superstars first and foremost.

(3) Once you've posted your blog, you'll need to come back to this blog post and leave a comment.  Your comment must include your username and the email address you want to be contacted at to arrange shipment of your prize in the event that you win.  Comments automatically display your username, but please type your username out as well. 

You must post your blog entry and your comment entering you into the giveaway by Sunday evening at midnight Eastern time.  Chosen winners will be selected Monday morning.

That's all there is to it!  I'll be choosing three winners myself.  What I'll do first is read each post and narrow down the possible winners based on the content of the blog - so you'll need to cover each match on the show.  You don't have to go crazy with your review, but try to make it apparent that you actually watched the show!  I'm not going to be a stickler about it, since not everyone likes to write and many of you are younger than I am, so don't think just because you have spelling mistakes or anything like that that I won't pick you to win! 

So anyway, once I narrow it down by making sure anyone who really didn't post about the show is eliminated, I'll use a site that generates random numbers to determine the three winners.  There are no favorites here, please don't message me to try and sway my decision.

And again, the only restriction is you must live in the United States to receive the prize. 

Cletus and I have made sure that your information will be safe.  But since you are required to post your email address as a comment on this blog entry, it's suggested that you use a Yahoo or GMail account.  You can write your email address in a form that keeps it from being grabbed by spiders - ie, "rhombus (at) yahoo [dot] com" - we've made sure that's okay with the people who are providing the prizes.  The only thing that will happen is once your email is provided, you may receive emails about future contests held by the company handling the prize shipment.  You CAN opt out of this, though - when you are contacted about receiving your prize, just let them know!  But hey, my suggestion is to have an alternate email account anyway, and why not receive those emails?  You never know what other cool contests might come about down the line!

Remember, no entries will be accepted until AFTER Superstars has aired!  No funny business! :)
