Join the New Season of WWE 4-UP Fantasy Wrestling & The Deadman Crew

If you don't get the email alerts for the WWE 4-UP Fantasy Wrestling game here, then you might be about to miss out on setting up your roster for game week one!

If you don't know what the game is all about, let me try to explain  -

1) You pick a roster for each week of the season (which lasts about 3-4 months) of WWE superstars. The superstars are split up into categories - so for instance you can choose 1 Main Eventer (The Miz, John Cena, Randy Orton, etc.), 2 Upper Midcarders (John Morrison, Sheamus, Christian, etc.), 3 Midcarders (Daniel Bryan, Cody Rhodes, R-Truth, etc.), 1 Diva, 1 Tag Team Wrestler, and 2 Undercarders.

2) You're always picking a roster for the UPCOMING week. Cause if you were picking for the current week, then people who read the spoilers for Smackdown on Tuesday nights would have a big unfair advantage. So you have to think ahead and also make sure to note if a PPV is the next week, because you may want to choose champions or challengers predominantly.

3) Once the week is up, Cletus and a lot of awesome people who help him run the game (apsouthern, NeedRepairs, wwefan18, and nighte) get the scores entered for each wrestler for each of the shows that week - Raw, Superstars, NXT, Smackdown, and a PPV (if there was one).

4) You earn the points for each of the wrestlers on your roster, with a few tricks to it. There are bonuses and penalties. The bonuses come from things like you picking a guy who very few other people picked, or wrestlers who were voted highly here on the site in your top 5 picks of the week. The penalties only come into play later in the season, if you've picked a guy too many times for your roster. That's just to keep you from picking John Cena every week. (and also to keep people who just let their rosters auto-run from having a great chance of winning)

5) The auto-run I just mentioned is what I think Cletus calls rollovers. If you pick a roster this week, and forget to pick one next week, your roster from the last week will get pulled over automatically when the scores are run. It's like auto-pilot. So if you get sick or go on vacation, at least you still have the chance to earn points. And you don't have to feel obligated to keep coming every week to change your picks.

So hopefully my info was helpful to some of you who didn't know about the game! It's tougher than the regular PPV prediction games because you really have no idea who's going to make it on TV every week, though for a PPV you know you have a certain percentage chance of getting points. You could earn 0 points for a week of 4-UP though it's unlikely you'd ever get 0 points on a PPV!
