The 176 Show Episode 7 + WWE Beta - ECW Week 15/12/09

Hello and welcome to the 7th episode of the 176 Show, tonight I will be dedicating this show to the recently passed Eddie "Umaga" Fatu who died last week. I will be talking about my final TLC predictions, The Monday Night War take two and I will be doing the first episode of WWE Beta - ECW.

So here we go, first off my final TLC predictions:


WWE Title match - Winner= John Cena

World Title Match - Winner= Undertaker

Unified Tag Team title match - Winners= Jerishow

IC title Match - Winner= John Morrison, although I do think that Drew will win the title at
Royal Rumble 2010.

Womens title match - Winner= Mickie James

Randy orton vs Kofi Kingston - Winner= Now last time at SS I predicted this wrong and had to call myself a terrible predictor because I thought that Orton's team would get the win. Well I was wrong there but I am sticking with the same answer here, I think that orton will finally get that clean win over Kofi that he deserves.


Now secondly I shall talk about TNA going head - to - head with Monday night Raw on 4th January:

I see this as only a trial run for TNA, to see how they do in the ratings when going against WWE. I think that if they do score the 3.0 rating Hogan claims he will make(so not gonna happen) then I see TNA moving to Monday Nights period a lot sooner than we thought. But if the ratings fail then I think TNA will back down to there original spot and try and use Hogan to bring in some more big names that will possibly take them to the same level as WWE.

I personally would like to see TNA do well on Monday Nights, because that would mean that WWE would have to step up their game and I would personally love to see WWE reach its peak yet again. But no I would not like to see ANOTHER monday night war but as a one off yes I would like to see it.

Opening pyro to kick off ECW

The announcers hype the main event tonight which will be a battle royal to determine the No.1 contender to the ECW title.

Event 1: Backstage interview with ECW champion Vladamir Kozlov.

Savannah the backstage interviewer tells Kozlov that tonight there will be a battle royal to determine the No.1 contender to his title. She then asks him who he thinks will win and who he wants to win. Kozlov replies by saying something in Russian first, he then says that it doesn't matter who wins because regardless, he will beat them and successfully defend his title.
Just as he is leaving, Christian walks up behind Kozlov. He laughs at Kozlov and says that he best enjoy having that title around his waist for now, because after he wins the battle royal he will win back HIS ECW world title.

Match 1: Trent Baretta and Caylon Croft beat Goldust and Hurricane Helms in 14:21, after Caylon hits his finisher on Hurricane and Trent dropkicks Goldust off the ring apron while Caylon gets the pin.

Event 2: Backstage we see William Regal and Ezekiel Jackson preparing for the battle royal tonight. Regal says that their goal is to get Regal the win so that he can beat Kozlov for the title and bring the title to the roundtable.

Match 2: The Ripper beats Zack Ryder/w Rosa Mendes in 10:44, after Rosa climbs on the ropes and gets knocked back down by Zack by accident. He then leans over the ropes to check on her, the Ripper then runs up behind him and rolls him up.

Event 3: Tommy dreamer and Christian are shown talking backstage, they say that no matter what happens out there tonight they will always be friends and even if they don't win they still know that they are the best ECW has to offer.

Main Event: Ezekiel Jackson beats William Regal, Christian, Tommy Dreamer, Yoshi Tatsu, Vance Archer and Shelton Benjamin in 19:33.
The final three were Tommy Dreamer, Ezekiel and William Regal. Tommy had just eliminated Christian from the match, because of this Christian grabbed a steel chair form ringside and attacked Tommy Dreamer. He then threw Tommy over the top rope and walked away. Ezekiel Jackson then eliminated William Regal after William slapped him for not eliminating himself and letting Regal have the win.

It is confirmed that Vladimir Kozlov will defend his ECW title against Big zeke at the Royal Rumble in an Extreme Rules match.

Event 4: Kozlov walked down to the ring with the ECW title as Big Zeke was celebrating. They had a stare down in the ring, until Kozlov head-butted Zeke out of the ring and posed with the title to end the show.
