HELLO! and welcome to the 176 Show. Tonight I have another great episode planned for you, we have the results from last weeks poll, my views on the Miz and his future, this weeks ECW Beta and discussing the concept (Or lack there of) of WWE NXT.
SO this week let's have a change and kick things off with this Week ECW Beta:
Event 1: Highlights from last week show, including Tommy Dreamer returning and being announced as the challenger for Christian's ECW title at Wrestlemania, in the last ever ECW match.
Match 1: Singles match
Yoshi Tatsu vs Caylon Croft
Result= Yoshi Tatsu wins when Trent tries to interfere only to be knocked down by Shelton and then while Caylon is checking on Trent, Yoshi hits the buzzsaw kick for the win.
Before the match starts Yoshi Tatsu and Shelton Benjamin talk about how they are going to win the ECW Tag Team titles on the final episode of ECW before Wrestlemania 26!
Match 2: Final match-up of the feud - Falls Count Anywhere
Johnny Curtis vs Vance Archer
Result= Vance Archer claims the victory over Johnny when Johnny tries to connect with a flying crossbody from the top of a ladder on the entrance ramp, but Vance ducks and then hits the reverse ddt on the steel ramp for the win.
Event 2: Christian comes out to the ring and says that it is a disgrace that Tommy Dreamer should be allowed another match in ECW even after he retired him. This brings out Tommy who says that it is only one match and that in that match he is going to prove to the world why he was the last ECW Original by defeating you and becoming a three time ECW champion.
Match 3: Singles match - Special Guest ref Tommy Dreamer
Christian vs Zack Ryder
Result= Tommy costs Christian the match aftre he hits his famous ddt and then throws Zack over him for the quick three count.
Next up are the results from last weeks poll and my thoughts on the results:
Who should fill the last spot in MITB?
Overall | League
Kofi Kingston 65.91%
Daniel Bryan 18.18%
Mark Henry 9.09%
Drew McIntyre 6.82%
Well surprisingly enough the person with the least votes was the person who secured the ninth spot. We now know that a tenth person shall be decided on Raw and the odds on favouite to claim that spot is the person who got the most votes, Kofi Kingston. I think that if Kofi Kingston gets the last spot it shall finally be a proper question, because at the minute there is no doubt that Christian shall be the winner.
Thirdly I would like to discuss the concept of WWE NXT:
At the minute all we know about the concept of WWE's NXT show is that the mentors "Vote" on who they feel should be moved up onto the main rosters. We do not know how many shall be moved up, how or if people get eliminated, how long the season is, which brand they get moved to or if there will be a season 2 (Although that is more than likely). If WWE want to gain a consistant number of viewers then they are going to have to give us all the details of the concept otherwise if you are like me it is only the continuation of the Miz - Bryan feud and the progression of the rookies that keep me tuning in each week. But that won't keep me tuning in for long, if the concept is not revealed then I shall soon be reading the results purely off of the internet and not actually watching the show.
Please feel free to leave me your thoughts on the concpet of NXT.
Last but not least I would like to talk about the Miz and his future in WWE:
The Miz is looking to be one of the WWE's best stars right now. He has taken over the role of Chris Jericho, by turning up at every show WWE has to offer, Raw, Smackdown and NXT. He holds three titles at the same time, which I can't think of being done before, and he is partnering with the Big Show. I really do feel that The Miz has a bright future in front of him, in fact I think it is sooner than expected. By the time December 30th 2010 comes along I predict right here right now that The Miz shall be a world champion and he shall have had a single defining moment in his career. A moment that will set his name in history and place his name up there with the likes of Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock. Yes I am sure that many of you shall disagree with me, but the facts are hard to deny. Ever since they put him in that program with John Cena last year he has grown and gone from strength to strength. The Miz has the ability to carry nearly everyone in the ring and he is really good on the mic. I shall post a poll letting you lot give your thoughts on the miz aswell.
