TNA Beta Week 9 – Destination X Fallout

Event 1:

Highlights are shown from every match at Dest. X

Event 2:

The new world champ, AJ Styles comes down to the ring. He says that last night he proved that he didn’t need The Hogan Regime to obtain championship gold and that they were only holding him back. He then says that tonight he faces…. He is interrupted by The Hogan Regime. They come onto the entrance ramp with microphones, Hogan speaks first, he says that although AJ won last night he still hasn’t proved anything to anyone and in their eyes he is still a loser! AJ replies by asking them what they think a winner looks like then? He says is it Rhino standing by you, he man who holds the Legends title, but only because a pair of has-beens stepped in for him? Rhino gets mad and says that he is not a loser and that is because of the Legend title sitting around his waist, which makes AJ say “So is the WORLD championship not good enough for you guys?”

Flair interrupts this and tells AJ that tonight he will find out what it is like to be on a receiving end of a beat down from the Hogan Regime, when the newest member of the Regime knocks you flat on your back! AJ loos shocked at the news of a new member to the regime.

The crowd start chanting “Matt Morgan… Matt Morgan…. Matt Morgan” but then the music plays and out comes… The Pope D’Angelo Dinero! He grabs a mic and says that these guys made him an offer he couldn’t refuse, an offer to join the Hogan Regime. Hogan says that they liked the way he beat Morgan last night and that after he beats you tonight he shall bring the World title where it belongs.

Match 1: Tag Team match

Brutus Magnus and Doug Williams vs. Team 3D

Result= Team 3D secure the victory after they hit a 3D on Doug Williams for the win.

After the match Brother Ray grabs a microphone and says that Team 3D demand a title shot at Lockdown in one month’s time. Eric Bischoff then appears on the tita-tron and says that next week the new no.1 contenders to the MCMG’s tag titles will be decided in a tag team fatal four way ladder match, where the winners shall receive a tag team title shot at Lockdown in a Lethal Lockdown match!

Event 3:

Match 2: X Division Title match (Homicide’s rematch in contract)

Homicide vs. The Brian Kendrick(c)

Result= This was a good X Division match with lots of high flying spots from Kendrick especially. In the end Kendrick hit the Slice Bread for the victory.

After the match while Kendrick was posing with his belt RVD and Jeff Hardy ran out to the ring. They started to beat down on Kendrick and they were soon followed by Hernandez, but security eventually pulled them off him. Bischoff then ran down to the ring, he says that they shouldn’t be touching TNA’s new X champ! He gets mad and says that if they want a piece of Kendrick they will have to earn a shot for a match at Lockdown. He carries on to say that they will be facing each other next, in a number1 contender’s match to the X Division title.

Match 3: No. 1 contender’s match to the X title

Jeff Hardy vs. RVD vs. Hernandez

Result= This match grabbed the spot as match of the night after lots of high spots and great double team moves. But in the end after RVD pulled Jeff Hardy off Hernandez as Hardy was just about to get the pin, the two friends started arguing. Eventually Hardy decked RVD and hit the Twist Of Fate. But Hernandez took advantage and threw Hardy out of the ring and pinned RVD.

Hernandez raised his hand in the air and walked up the ramp celebrating, while RVD and Hardy stood in the ring. RVD then turned to Hardy and yelling at him saying he cost him the match. Hardy says RVD cost him the match as well and they eventually start fighting, this ends when Hardy misses a Swanton and RVD climbs the ropes and hits the 5-Star Frog Splash.

Event 4:

ODB comes out to the ring, she says that she was sick and tired of teaming with “Awesome” Kong and so last night at Dest. X she got rid of her. She then says that she now wants to find a new partner so she can reclaim the knockouts tag title gold that is rightfully hers. But to her surprise the new K.Tag Champs, Roxxi and Hemme run down to the ring and double team her. They start by hitting a double dropkick and then their finisher, the Double DDT.

But it wasn’t over there because Velvet Sky, Madison Rayne and Lacey Von Erich then ran down to the ring and cleared house of Roxxi and Hemme. Velvet grabbed a mic and says that the BP are always looking to add more gold to their waists and therefore they want a K.Tag Title match next week.

Eric comes out again and says that he has another team that are also opting for a match for the K. Tag Titles and therefore at Lockdown it shall be a fatal fourway tag team match featuring, the tag champs Roxxi and Christy Hemme against ODB who will be competing by herself against the BP(Lacey and Madison) against…. Tara and Angelina Love! Now in this match not only will the K.Tag Titles be on the line, but also if the BP loses then Velvet will be stripped of her title and the winning team will face off the next night on Impact for the championship. But if ODB was to win by herself in the match then she would win both tag title belts and the Knockouts title!

Match 4: Tag Team match

Kurt Angle and Samoa Joe vs. Tomko and Rob Terry

Result= This was a tough match for the four competitors, but not too easy to watch for the audience. But in the end Kurt Angle gets the victory for his team when he locks in the ankle lock on Tomko and makes him tap.

After the match Kurt and Samoa Joe grab a mic and Kurt says that he helped Sting and Joe last night at Dest. X because he thinks that what the Hogan Regime were doing was wrong. Joe then says that Kurt is here to stay and so is Sting and they are not going to stop until they have the Legends Title in their hands.

The announcers then state that the Hogan Regime appear to have to fight a war on two fronts.

Event 5:

The MCMG’s cut a promo about all their possible opponents for Lockdown, ranging from Generation Me to Beer Money again, to Team 3D and to The British Invasion.

Event 6:

Hulk Hogan comes down to the ring and announces that next week there shall be a triple threat match to determine the No.1 contender to the Legends title for Lockdown.

It will be Kurt angle vs. Samoa Joe vs. Sting, he laughs after he announces it and tells the guys to “Break a leg”. He then walks back out and goes “Oh I forgot to mention, Sting you have a match next, against Abyss!”

Match 5: Singles match

Sting vs. Abyss

Result= The match ends in a no contest when Kurt Angle and Samoa Joe run down to the ring after Hogan, Flair and Rhino appear at ringside. A huge brawl breaks out and in the end Sting, Joe and Kurt are left standing tall in the ring.

Sting then grabs a mic and says that he is laying down the new stipulation to their match next week, he says that the two that don’t get a shot at the Legends Title at Lockdown will be put in a Tag Team match instead. So it will be the losers against Hogan and Flair!

Bischoff then appears and says it sounds like a good idea, the match stip is official.

Event 7:

Mr. Anderson has a backstage interview, he says that last night he suffered a concussion at the hands of AJ Styles and he will be out for a while, but when he gets back he is going right after his World Heavyweight championship. Desmond Wolfe then interrupts Anderson and pushes him aside; he says that he has spoken to Eric Bischoff about this new match made for the Lockdown card, the losers of next weeks Legends no. 1 contender match against Hogan and Flair. Well now that match will be a six man tag team match, and he will be teaming with Flair and Hogan! He says this is because he has the skill to defeat any of those three men in the Legends no.1 contenders match and at Lockdown he will prove it by helping the Hogan Regime claim victory!

Match 6: Debut of the New Television championship (For the up and comers or people who don’t get used a lot) Over the Top Rope Battle Royal

Eric Young vs. Kevin Nash vs. Amazing Red vs. Daniels vs. Suicide vs. Orlando Jordan

Result= Eric Young is victorious in this match after he eliminates Daniels last to become the first ever TNA Television champion!

Main Event: World Title Match

AJ Styles(c) vs. The Pope

Result= This was a good match but The Pope yet again tried to cheat his way to victory when he locked in a pinfall attempt and used the ropes as leverage again to get the victory.

But as he was walking up the ramp with his new world title and the Hogan Regime hugging him, Eric Bischoff appears again and says that this is not happening again tonight, he demands that this match be restarted. So the match is back on!

Main Event: World Title match

AJ Styles(c) vs. The Pope

Result= As soon as the Pope makes it back into the ring AJ hits him with a pele kick and then goes up top and connects with a 450 Splash for the win.
