How to get the Divas back on track

We all know that both the WWE tag team and Divas divisions are failing miserably at the minute, WWE tried to give the Tag Team a bit of life again a coupe of months ago but it failed and we have about two actual tag teams now. I wanted to do two of these blogs, one for the Divas and one for the Tag Teams, but once I thought about it I realised that the Tag Team division has gotten so bad that there is actually no way for it to recover. To do that WWE would need genuine tag teams and they simply don't have enough of them for two separate brands.
But the Divas can still be saved, there is some incredbile talent and some absolutely crap talent, but if used in the right way the Divas could get back on track.

This Blog is how I personally would book the Divas division to get it back on track. (This geos through to WM 27)

1. To start off with the WWE would have to start increasing the amount of time the Divas had on RAW tv each week, I don't care how much time they have on Superstars because not many people watch that.

2. Have Alicia drop the title to a returning Melina at Summerslam and have Alicia demand for her rematch the next night on Raw (Yes I am saying let the Divas get some Mic time).
Have Melina come out to the ring and say that she will take Alicia on anytime any place, then have the GM (Who has been revealed by this point) come onto stage and say that next week Alicia gets her Divas title rematch.

3. Next week Melina successfully defends her Divas title against Alicia, but as Melina is celebrating Alicia attacks her from behind. Let Alicia use whatever she can get her hands on to damage Melina's ankle (Which would be good logically because she just got back from injury).

4. Next week have Jerry Lawler stand in the ring and say that Melina has reinjured her ankle (Might have been somthing else but oh well whatever). This brings out Alicia who says that she demands that the Melina therefore forfeits the title and she should be the champion. Jerry just holds the title and doesn't want to give it to her, then the GM appears on screen. He says that Melina may be injured but she isn't forfiting the title, because he has found someone willing to defend the title for her at Night Of Champions.

5. Out comes ASHLEY (This is assuming Ashley would be willing to resign), she attacks Alicia and holds the Divas Title up in the air.

6. It is announced that Melina will be able to return about a week or two after Night Of Champions.

7. Alicia vs. Ashley is set for Night of Champions - Divas Title

8. Ashley successfully beats Alicia and retains the title for Melina
(Alicia then moves into a feud with Gail Kim to kepe them busy - But have that rivalry meen somthing as well. Perhaps have Gail make fun of Alicia for losing and then have them feud and have the loser leave Raw to go to Smackdown).

9. The next night on Raw Melina comes back with a pair of crutches, Ashley hands her the title. But then she says "Now I want my shot". This sets up a feud between Melina and Ashley for the Divas Title which leads all the way through to Bragging Rights. Ashley wins the match for the title and the two hug after their match.

10. But thats not the end of the night for the Divas, because some new music hits...

11. Out comes "AMAZING" Kong (TNA own the rights to the Awesome Kong name), she lays out both Melina and Ashley.

12. This leads to a feud between Ashley and Melina vs. Amazing Kong with Ashley's Divas Title on the line.

13. Amazing Kong wins the match that she has at Survivor Series against Ashley alone for the title.

14. The next night on Raw have Ashley come out to the ring with Melina, have them call out Kong and manage to beat down her using Team Work and Steel Chairs.
Have Kong go on a rampage out of anger, until the GM finds her. He says that she can get her hands on them both if she wants, at TLC. But she will have to put her title on the line.

15. Triple Threat Match for the Title at TLC, which Kong wins. She then dominates over the Raw Divas division up until the Royal Rumble.

16. At the RR there is a Divas Rumble match as well where the winner can have either a Womens or Divas title match at WM 27. The final three people in the match are Beth Phoenix, Ashley and Melina.
But the match comes to a No Contest because Amazing Kong comes out to the ring and attacks the competitors, laying them all out.

17. The next night on Raw the GM announces that all three Divas that were remaining in the RR match last night shall be featured at WM 27. In a Fatal Four Way match agianst Amazing Kong for her title.

18. Over on the SD side Natalya is the Womens Champion and she will defend her title against Michelle McCool at Mania 27.

19. At Wrestlemania Beth Phoenix wins the title from Amazing Kong. She is then drafted to Raw so she can defend her title, she is replaced by Melina who is sent over to SD.

20. Kong then moves into a feud with Beth and Natalya (Who defended successfully against McCool) moves into a feud with Melina.



Now you may be thinking this is just a couple of Storylines, yes it is but these storylines would garner interest into what the Divas are doing. It will give the Divas some very much needed ring and mic time and should create some great matches.

This leaves you with two good Divas rosters:

SD:

Melina
Alicia Fox
Tiffany
Kelly Kelly
Natalya

Raw:

Gail Kim
Beth Phoenix
Amazing Kong
Maryse
Ashley


Fire the rest of the Divas that no one cares about!
