THW Onslaught - 4.7.10

Huge pyro to kick off the show and the theme song "Light It Up" By Rev Theory

Event 1:
We start things off with a recap of Golden Oppertunity, finishing with the attack from Samoa Joe on HHH and Eric Bishoff.

Event 2:
Matt Striker comes out to the ring, he has a solomn look on his face and he has a mic in his hand. He stands in the ring, he says that the actions that took place at Golden Oppertunty by Samoa Joe shall be delt with with severe consequences. He says that what Joe did was disgraceful and he had no need to interfere in the main event. This brings out HHH, he's very angry. He says that Joe cost him th elast chance he had at the THW World title as long as Chris Jericho is champion. He says that he demands Samoa Joe comes out here right now and pay for his actions.
Joe walks out onto the stage to his music, he says that he did what he had to do at Golden Oppertunity. He says that he is sick of being over looked in every wrestling business and he is going to trample every single person who gets in his way, starting with HHH. Trips says that why doesn't Joe just come down here right now and let them settle this.
Joe replies by saying that he will destroy HHH when the time is right and he shall enjoy it. He says that he wants a world title shot and he will go through anyone and evryone until he gets it. This brings out Batista, he says that if Joe wants a world title shot he is going to have to wait. He says that he beat Edge at Golden Oppertunity and he is next in line for a title shot. Joe then squares up against Batista until Matt Striker intervenes.
Striker says that Batista is the No.1 contender there is no doubt about it, but he says that it is obvious Joe wants a chance to prove himself, so tonight Joe can try and do what he claims he shall do, destroy HHH. He says that tonight in the main event it shall be HHH vs. Samoa Joe in a street fight!!


Match 1: Knockouts title rematch from Golden Oppertunity
Taylor Wilde/w Sarita vs. Beth Phoenix(c)
Result= This was a great match between these two knockouts, it was especially helped that The BP were banned from the arena tonight. The match went for a good 12 minutes and the crowd were definately into it. The match came to a finish when Beth Phoenix tried to hit the GlamSlam on Taylor, but Taylor pulled Beth down into a rollup and secured the pinfall for a three count.
NEW KNOCKOUTS CHAMPION - TAYLOR WILDE

After the match Sarita rolled into the ring and celebrated with her partner Taylor. Beth then stood up and shook hands with Taylor before quickly saying "I have a rematch", before leaving.

Matt Striker then appeared on the titan-tron, he says that next week the new No.1 contender to the knockouts title shall be determined in a 5-Way Dance, between Velvet Sky, Michelle McCool, Hamanda, Awesome Kong and Sarita. The winnner shall face both Beth Phoenix and Taylor Wilde for the title at Power Struggle.

Event 3:
The SES walk out to the ring, with CM Punk in the lead. They call out The Pope and say that it is his time to better his life. The Pope slowly walks out to the ring with great reluctance. He stands infront of CM Punk, Punk says tha oath of the SES and tells Pope to repeat it, Pope refuses, Punk tells him again. The Pope says the pledge with a scowl on his face.
Punk then turns to the crowd and says "Everybody, welcome the newest member of the Straight Edge Society!" Pope then grabs Punk's shoulder and turns him around. He says that he still hates Punk and is only a member of the SES because of the stipulation on their match at Golden oppertunity.
Then as Punk was about to respond, out comes Eddie Edwards. He says that Punk may have forgotten but now that Golden Oppertunity is out of the way, he, Eddie Edwards is the new No.1 contender to the IC title. Punk replies by saying that he doesn't care because he is a ROH wannabe. Eddie takes offence to this and he smashes Punk in the face with an elbow before diving out of the ring and leaving. Meanwhile Pope was laughing at Punk for getting "Punked" out by a "ROH wannabe".

Once Eddie is on the ramp he says that Punk better get ready because next week here on Onslaught he is having his IC tItle match!


Match 2: Tag Team Battle Royal - Winners become the No.1 contender to the Tag titles
Rey and Evan vs. The UK Elite vs. Legacy vs. The Dudebusters vs. The MCMG's vs. The SES (Pope and Luke) vs. Beer Money
Result= Right away The Pope eliminated himself which caused his team to be eliminated, Pope was shouted at by Punk as he walked away. The UK Elite and Legacy both went after each other with brutal force. Both teams were eliminated though when Cody Rhodes clotheslined himself and Drew McIntyre over the top rope, eliminating both teams. Ted Dibiase and Sheamus continued to fight as they walked up the entrance ramp and Cody and Drew fought through the crowd. Rey and Evan were then going after Beer Money, while MCMG's and The Dudebusters went after each other. Caylon Croft tried to connect with a running clothesline on Chris Sabin, but Sabin caught him and flung him over the top rope, eliminating the Dudebusters. This left Rey and Evan, Beer Money and The MCMG's. Rey tried to connect with a 619 on James Storm, but Alex Shelley took advantage and dropkicked Rey midflight, which sent him over the top rope and eliminated his team.
It was down to The MCMG's and Beer Money, Alex Shelley went after James Storm and Chris Sabin went after Robert Rhoode. It looked like Beer Money were going to win the match when Rhoode was pushing Sabin over the top rope. But Alex came to the aid of Sabin by superkicking Storm in the head, then running over to Sabin and Rhoode. He then ran up the top rope, jumped off and dropkicked Rhoode in the head. Sabin and Shelley then ran at Rhoode and hit a double-dropkick sending him over the top rope!
Winners and new no.1 contenders to the tag titles - The MCMG's



Event 4:
Matt Striker comes out to the ring, he says that next week the new No.1 contender to the Cruiserweight Championship shall be decided!

Match 3: Singles Match
Jack Swagger vs. Hernandez
Result= This was a good match between these two tough superstars, they both showed that they want to be known as the best and they showed promise here tonight. During the match the new hardcore champion, Bryan Danielson walked down to the ring and joined commentary. The match came to a finish when Hernandez fought back after being on the defence for some time, he then connected with a Cross the Border for the victory.

After the match Bryan stepped into the ring, he faced Hernandez and said that he wants to offer Hernandez a Hardcore title match at Power Struggle. Hernandez gladly accepts the title match.



Match 4: Singles Match
Desmond Wolfe vs. Edge
Result= This was a great showing by Wolfe who really took advantage of the fact that Edge had been badly beat up by Batista in their match at Golden Oppertunity. The match seemed to be at an end when Edge had Wolfe set up for a Spear though, but Wolfe dodged the move and sent Edge into the ring post. Wolfe then lifted Edge up onto the top rope and connected with the Tower of London for the victory.

After the match Desmond grabbed a mic and says that he just like Samoa Joe has been overlooked in this business. But unlike Joe he says that he isn't going to go around and beat up the Owner of THW to get his way. He says that he is going to beat every person he see's as being higher up than him in the pecking order fair and square and then earn himself a THW World title shot.

Event 5:
Chris Jericho then comes out to the ring with his World title he starts singing a song about being the best in the world at what he does. But he is thankfully interupted by Batista who runs down to the ring and spears Jericho. He says that he isn't HHH and he isn't going to let Chris Jericho's world title escape hsi grasp.

Main Event: Street Fight
Samoa Joe vs. HHH
Result= This was a very short match, Joe walked down to the ring but HHH never did. We then saw some footage from backstage earlier in the day. It was of HHH being attacked by Samoa Joe. Joe completely destroyed HHH with everything he could find. Joe then grabbed a mic in the ring and he says that at Power Struggle he is going to face HHH in a match, but he will not face him in a match until then.

Matt Striker then walks out to the stage, he says that Joe may not face HHH, but he shall be in action as punishment for his actions. Batista's music then hits and out comes the animal for action.

Main Event: Singles Match
Batista vs. Samoa Joe
result= Batista took it to Joe straight away and didn't let up trying to injure Joe. But in the end Samoa Joe had some outside help, as Chris Jericho walked onto the stage. This distracted Batista long enough for Joe to roll him up and get the victory.

After the match Jericho walked down to the ring and spoke into a mic. He says that Batista is no match for him and he stall prove it at Power Struggle in their World title match. He then turns his attention to Samoa Joe, he thanks Joe for taking care of business at Golden oppertunity. He carries on to say that he isn't scared of Joe and he will face him when the time is right.

The show goes off air with Jericho laughing on the entrance ramp...
