Dueling Blogs??
I have had an idea. i'm not sure how'd it work or how it would be employed. but my idea is to have a H2H Dueling blogs. 2 people chosen(how or whom I don't know) to debate an issue or theroy or idea. Topics could be about anything. one for it and one against it. (again How chosen I don't know. and it doesn't have to go to a person that believes it or is against it) they are give somewhere between 2 days and a week to research and create their blog. once published the masses can vote or comment or something to indicate which arguement is better.
perhaps a prize of some points for the season could be made or perhaps a tournment to go with the PPV and the winner of the tournment could get bouns points for the whole thing while each round winner gets a few as well.
what does anyone think? good idea, bad idea, or don't care either way.

The new feature I'm working on for the blogs is going to allow you guys to do exactly this. One person sets the initial blog up, with a title and an introduction. Then that person can invite other people (or your entire league at once) into the blog. At that point, the creator of the blog (or anyone else they give access to) can create a new topic, and then all people invited can post their comment on it. You'll be able to continue to add topics as long as you want. Then with the other new feature, user-created polls, you can create a poll in your blog and if you want, have the poll be "Who do you think is winning this debate?" and have all the invited people as choices for everyone to vote on. But you won't be able to earn points for any of the existing games on the site through this.. that's not something I'll ever do.
