Big Bubba: TNA in 2011?

Welcome the first week of Big Bubba. This weeks topic has to deal with the future of TNA in 2011.

First I wil admit that over the last month or so i have started to watch some of TNA Impact. I haven't been impressed but havent been bore to tears either. so i reckon thats a good sign.

To look at what the future of TNA has in store 2011 we must first look at 2010 and see what they did right and what was better off being left on the ol' drawing board.

Things TNA got Right in 2010:
1.Hiring The Whole F'n Show RVD. This man one of my personal favorite wrestlers of all time. very very few reach his ability and athleticism in the ring. he's the perfect person to build a promotion around.

2. Hiring Jeff Hardy. The man puts butts in the seat to use a phrase the Eric Bischoff used that resulted in the beginning of the end of WCW. I don't like Hardy as i think hes an idiot in the ring but hes popular so i'll defer to that

3. Providing a better Tag team and womens divison then the WWE product. lets face it this wasnt hard as wwe has scaled back on caring for the divas and tag team divison making them virtual laughing stocks. With that said, TNA's product has been good in those areas.

Things TNA did not do right in 2010:

1. Their first mistake was getting rid of the 6-sided ring. That was the thing that made them unqiue from WWE. I would wager some watched just because of the different ring.

2. Attempting to recreate the Monday Night Wars. This can't be stressed enough. They were no where near popular enough or strong enough as a product to stand up to the entrenched King of Pro Wrestling WWE.

3. Creating Fortune and Immortal. These are a bad idea. all i have to do is show you what happened to WCW with the NWO for a group led by Bischoff and Hogan

4. Hiring Flair, Bicshoff, and Hogan in the first place. These3 are well well well past their primes. They should be forced to be put out to pasture.

The future for TNA in 2011?
I feel that TNA will likely get better 2011. But will still remain the annoying little brother to WWE. Reason for that is they have had some good matches here lately but the WWE has blown them away with the matches they have had so far this year.

How to improve TNA for 2011?

1. Bring back the 6-sided Ring to bring back its uniqueness

2. Fire Bischoff, Hogan, and Flair replace with younger talent from indy ranks.

3. Disband Fortune and Immortal to lower fans fears of TNA being destroyed by the hands of Hogan and Bischoff.

4. Make all TNA Impacts Live to improve the ratings and overall show.

5. Take Impact on the road to buid a bigger fanbase for it. Orlando is nice but not everyone can make it to there for an Impact show.
