UTR vs OTR Week 1

OTR Episode 1

Note: just because I now compete with Bezzly in a seperate show challenge i will not take that out on your ratings. I am always fair and rate based on how much enjoyment i get from the show.

Segment 1
Good way to start the show introducing the champions. Randy made an interesting match for the main-event.

Match 1
Sorta Weak match with the Interference. Kills any momentum the match had going. Interesting feud though.

Segment 2
Good to see Randy throw his rate around but I seriously believe Randy should be a heel GM and rewarded the attackers. not punished them by putting them in a match against him.

Segment 3
Sets up an interesting concept for next week. I think I will be very interested in how this plays out.

Match 2
Good tag match and the Heels get heat by cheating to win. New tag team champions. lets see how the World's Greatest Tag Team react next week.

Segment 4
Pointless but nessescary i suppose.

match 3
I didn't like this at all I know Orton's better then both of them but he was like superman here and run over them. I think they should have gotten an upperhand and nearly pin him before Orton destoryed them.

Segment 5
There's no way Orton would do what he does here. he would be out cold from the attack. his family should have chased them off and checked on Orton who as he was waking up would then vow revenge.

Segment 6
Orton would have been pissed off and would have taken it out on Slater there. probably add in a punt to put emphasis on what he wants ton do to the DiBiases.

match 4
At this point people would be tuning out because of all the interference finishes and wins by Heels. good match but Slater should have won on his own.

Segment 7
Interesting conversation between Hening and Finlay adding Kozlov

Match 5
Interference again this time though for the good guys. Kozlov vs Young should be interesting.

Segment 8
This segment destorys 3 potential good matches and puts it into 1 okay match. also makes the outcome predictable i feel.

Segment 9
Orton destorys the two champs in two seconds. Not show what to say about that but seemss to only hurt your champions more then anything else.

Main-event match
It was elementary that the Uso's win after Orton's attack on Kidd and Woods. made for a boring Main-Event.

Segment 10
Made the tag title match pointless by hurting Jey and now vacating the tag titles. also weakens your tournament. now the prize is a 1 in 3 chance at winning the title instead of 1 in 2.

Overall I feel this show was very weak. but then again the 1st show always is so I'm sure it will get better from here. Rating 2.63


UTR Episode 1 after roster split

Segment 1
Recapped what happened at the PPV which caused the Roster split.

Segment 2
I love that DH Smith won the title. I'm shocked a little really but I can't wait to see how things go with his reign. Jericho announced the creating of the Internet championship which in and of it self is funny.

Match 1
Fairly good match to start off the show. Action all over the place which is the nature of the match being a Fatal-4-Way match. Ending is good because that is a believeable ending.

Segment 3
Novak in the main-event might be interesting. lets see if he can earn it later.

Segment 4
Video hyping the debut i guess of someone.

Match 2
Good tag team title match. Surprised La resistance didn't win but Ink Inc should make for good champs.

Match 3/3.5
Great to make an Impact but I felt it was a little over done. He shouldn't havbe destoryed both men by himself. Makes him look too strong. but that's just my personal Take on it.

Segment 5
Basic Interview told us nothing that was said so I can't gauge how a crowd or viewer would react.

Match 4
Good Match and it figures Noble would lose and to Dupree too. ouch sucks to be noble right now. interesed to see how he progresses and see where Dupree goes form here too.

Segment 6
Another segment for Novak backstage this time asking a legend to teach him. interesting and makes me think something big is planned for him. either that or a massive beatdown is coming.

Segment 7
Segment telling us Mangus is okay and will be back. Good to hear. no one likes when wrestlers get hurt.

Match 5
wow that was quick. ouch a Beatdown is coming for Novak. poor guy to get built up and torn down like that.

Segment 8
Shot fired across the Ropes at OTR form UTR GM Jericho. Yes i did the pun on purpose. I have a feeling these two aren't done yet.

Match 6
Good main event saw the champion put up a good fight despite a weakened state and nearly win. he's not hurt as badly because Hawkins Cheated to win.

Following the match Shad attacked the champ setting up what could be a very interesting triple threat in Smith vs Hawkins vs Gasphard.

over all it was a good show. had issues like OTR did but weren't as bad and had a stronger show as a result. I'm sure UTR will improve and this will be a very good rivalry. rating 3.01
