WWE Alpha Monday Night Raw 8 27 12

CM Punk comes out and opens the show. He talks about how Big Show is too violent of a man and then he brings up that he as well was raised in the state of Extreme Championship Wrestling. CM Punk then issues a challenge to Big Show that they have a One Night Stand at Night of Champions in an old Fashioned ECW Extreme Rules Match. Big Show comes out now and says that he has no problem ending the career of CM Punk. The 2 get into eachother’s face until Jim Ross comes out and makes the Stipulation change official. It will be CM Punk vs. Big Show for the World Title in an Extreme Rules Match at Night of Champions but, tonight CM Punk will go head to head with another member of his ECW Days, Jack Swagger!!! And Big Show will also be in action when he goes one on one with the Big Red Monster Kane.

Curt Hawkins is shown backstage and he is being interviewed by Josh Matthews. Josh asks Curt Hawkins why he left Tyler Reks last week and Curt Hawkins states that he is looking for a new partner and that partner will help him capture the WWE Tagteam Championships.

Dolph Ziggler def. Drew McIntyre & Tyson Kidd. Great match-up here. We see the same finish as we did at Summerslam when Tyson Kidd had the Sharpshooter locked in but, Dolph Ziggler captailized with a chair shot to the back followed by the Zig Zag for the win to retain the United States Championship. Dolph Ziggler laughed his way to the back as Tyson Kidd had a very angry look on his face.

Daniel Bryan is backstage decorating for the arrival of William Regal. We will see William Regal’s farewell party later tonight.

Antonio Cesaro comes out to the ring accomplied by Akansa. They get into the ring and Antonio Cesaro claims he is the future of wrestling for the 100th time. He then goes on to say something in 5 different languages before finally translittling it…”My Time is Now.” Antonio Cesaro is quickly interrupted by the arrival of Christian. Christian says that Antonio Cesaro is like any other rookie that talks a big game. He is all talk and no game. Jim Ross then announces Antonio Cesaro vs. Christian

Antonio Cesaro def. Christian. Miz comes out during the match and plays videos of Christian’s career highlights as a part of E & C. He then shows clips of Christians career as a Singles Star but, they are all video’s of Christian getting laid out. This distracts Christian long enough for Cesaro to roll him up and get the 3 count. After the match Christian looks up at the TitanTron as the video repeats itself.

We see Daniel Bryan backstage asking other members of the WWE if they have something to say about William Regal. They all basically say they are going to miss him and wish him the best of luck.

Kane def. Big Show via DQ. Kane had Big Show’s number throughout the match until Big Show pulled out a barbed wired table and decided to Chokeslam Kane through the table. Medics immediately rushed out as Big Show stood there laughing.

Kofi Kingston & Big Zeke def. Prime Time Playas. Great tagteam Match here. Curt Hawkins was on commentary and trash talked both teams throughout the match. The end of the match came when Kofi got the hot tag and cleaned house. He quickly follows it up with the Trouble in Paradise on Darren Young for the 3 count. After the match Curt Hawkins nailed Kofi in the back with a chair and made a run for it.

Layla & AJ are shown backstage talking about how Alex Riley left them at Summerslam. Alex Riley then pops into the scene and says that he wants nothing to do with either of anymore that his focus is on one day becoming Champion.

Ryback def. Trent Barreta in a squash match

CM Punk def. Jack Swagger. Very atlethic back & forth match and this was a great showing for Jack Swagger. Both men had their moments up until the end when Big Show came out distracting CM Punk long enough for Jack Swagger to lock in the Ankle Lock but, Punk was able to get out of it and connected with the GTS for the 3 count. After the match Big Show got into the ring and pointed at CM Punk’s World Title and uttered the words Night of Champions.

Hornswoggle is backstage making a fool of himself when Damien Sandow approaches the scene. Damien Sandow cut a promo on how this is the mockery WWE Viewers are forced to watch every week. Damien Sandow then pushes Hornswoggle down and walks away laughing.

Daniel Bryan’s music hits and he comes out to the ring. The ring is set up for William Regal’s Farewell Party and Daniel Bryan is wearing all black like he is attending a Funeral. Daniel Bryan enters the ring and he talks about the historic career of William Regal that could of went on for decades but, Regal decided to be put down like the old dog he is. Daniel Bryan receives huge heat as he makes his speech about William Regal. Daniel Bryan then invites the Raw Roster to the ring but, William Regal’s music hits and Daniel Bryan starts chanting, “No!!!” as the crowd chants, “Yes” really loud. William Regal steps into the ring and signals for the crowd to quiet down, Daniel Bryan is complaining as William Regal begins to speak. William Regal says he has a big announcement and that announcement is that the WWE Board of Directs and Vincent Kennedy McMahon himself have decided to relieve Jim Ross of duties and assign him as the New GM of Monday Night Raw!!!! The crowd chants, “YES!!!” again over and over even louder as Daniel Bryan screams,”No!!!” at the top of his lungs. William Regal then states that his first official act as GM of Monday Night Raw he is declaring that Daniel Bryan will be in action at Night of Champions when he takes on Ryback!!! Daniel Bryan has a heart attack as “Feed Me More” Chants break loose and Ryback’s music hits. Ryback gets what had to be the biggest pop of the night. William Regal is GM, Daniel Bryan will face Ryback at Night of Champions and CM Punk vs. Big Show for the World Title is now a One Night Stand Extreme Rules Match. What an episode of Monday Night Raw we had here tonight!
