WrestleMania 25 Review

Last night was the show-of-shows, the biggest night of the year, also known as the only time during the year I plunk down a considerable amount for a ridiculously overpriced pay-per-view (remember the $15 days of "In Your House"?). That's right, WrestleMania 25. A night that has been underwritten, overpromoted and only had a handful of appealing matches before showtime started. Let's get it on!

One of the matches for the PPV I was thoroughly looking forward to was the Tag Title Unification Lumberjack Match, and, in true WWE fashion, they decided to bump it before the show. That's right, one of THE best promoted matches for the event was relegated to the traditional pre-show "we'll throw you undercard guys a small WrestleMania check bone" battle royal slot, exactly showing how WWE thinks of the tag division. I was supremely upset with this, and have no idea if it was executed well or if the lumberjacks helped or hurt the match (since I'm going to have to wait for the WrestleMania 25 DVD to even freaking see it), but the Colons won it, going against my best judgment and prediction. I have zero idea why WWE went this way, especially when Miz & Morrison will one day go down in tag team history (if they are kept together, that is). I like the Colons and think it's the best Carlito has been in years, but I can't see the logic behind this, unless this feud carrys over to a rematch at "Backlash" (or a well-promoted "ECW"). And I still wonder if new belts will be created for Carlito and Primo...

I COMPLETELY agree with you about the Miss WrestleMania Royal Rumble

Shawn Michaels vs. Undertaker should have been the MAIN Event
I got up yelling at the TV every pin cause i bet $20 for Michaels to win but no
Best Match Ever

John Cena almost killed himself lifting both Edge and the Big Show

Triple H should have been disqualified (which i predicted and yelled at the TV for) but it was still a good match  4/7/09 6:08 PM
