An iron man match between John Cena and Randy Orton. We're ALREADY tired of this stupid feud, and now they think we want to watch 60 whole freaking minutes of it?
WWE Creative, you guys SUCK.
Seriously. I enjoyed Raw last night. I wasn't blown away by Hell in a Cell, but it was okay with some questionable booking decisions. But is WWE stupid? How can they be missing all of the fans saying they're tired of Cena and Orton? Raw ratings are up not because of Cena and Orton - look at your PPV buyrates to figure this out.
So if you want to make the iron man match interesting - add DX to the match. Make it a 4-way Iron Man match. Now you've got something that's never been done before. You've got 4 guys who can make the hour interesting. And you've got feuds revisited that all make sense - Cena vs Orton, HHH vs Orton, HHH vs Cena, HBK vs Cena, HBK vs Orton, and then the ultimate - HBK vs HHH. Of course, I don't think WWE would have HHH and HBK really go at each other - but they can break up each others' pins and then shrug shoulders like "what do you expect? it's for the title!"
Then you've got 2 guys who have been in big iron man matches - I can't recall if Cena or Orton have ever been in one.. I think Cena was with HBK maybe? But HBK was in the most well-known iron man match. HHH was in an iron man match on the first episode of Smackdown (right? with HBK as ref against Rock?). So you even get that cool tie-in for the 10th Anniversary of Smackdown there.
And hey, guess what - people would care about the match! I know I'd look forward to it knowing HBK was in the match. People would wonder if DX would break up, too. They wouldn't - but it adds intrigue!
Right now, it seems stupid. Is Cena leaving Raw? I hope so, but I doubt it. So Cena winning feels like a lock.
Add DX to the match, take Cena's "must leave Raw" stipulation off, and have it instead - If Orton is pinned, he loses the title. If anyone else is pinned, they leave Raw! If Cena gets pinned, he's off Raw. HBK gets pinned, he's off Raw.
Hey, that would be awesome, and I bet the buyrate would get a boost from it!
Come on WWE, do something a little different. Even the match I proposed above isn't something fresh and new since all these guys have feuded in the main event before - but it's leaps and bounds better than your crappy idea!

Every time you post one of these I think, wow, that's an awesome idea and WWE should do that. Then they don't, and I feel let down. Your ideas appeal both to the 'internet fan' in me and I can see them all appealing to the regular fan (kids) who still may actually be into seeing Cena and Orton fight again. even if that would happen it wouldnt take place like that it is not a fatal-four-way its an ironman the person with the most wins gets the tittle so who ever has the least should leave if tie than its sudden death it should be settled by a ladder match a contract of raw hanging above person that doesnt get it leaves Posted on October 7, 2009 at 4:46 PM |

Even when Vince Russo was there, things were edgy like the boss getting his ass kicked and scared to death with stone cold, undertaker, and the most electrifying man in sports entertainment. this is how its gonna happen...... cena wins the title then in the 2010 trade he is traded to Smackdown were they Undertaker/Cena feud will bulid up until the meet at WM 26&then sadly cena will lose bc Undertaker has it in his contract that the streak will never be broken..BUT I REALLY HOPE THIS IS HOW THE STORYLINE PLAYS OUT!
