Big Heel Move Opportunity Missed Tonight by WWE
Unless something big happens before Raw goes off the air, WWE missed a huge opportunity tonight to get a heel (or group of heels, like Nexus) some incredible heel heat.
Why not have had Nexus in the ring and have HBK's music hit, only to have the heel(s) laugh about it?
Sure, we've seen it before, but one of the most famous times involved Shawn Michaels, when he was giving a heel promo and Bret Hart's music hit. So why wouldn't a heel do it "back at him", so to speak? It's not like Bret Hart showed up on WWE TV in the following few years when HBK did it - so it's not like they'd have to deliver HBK on TV by doing it.
The heel heat tonight (in San Antonio, Texas - if you're missing why I thought of this in the first place) would have been off the charts.

I understand what you mean however HBK and Vince have been on bad terms recently over a variety of things so shawn may not have wanted to do it. 7/27/10 4:33 AM |

I saw that to mitch, I think I saw it on ewrestlingnews.com, but yea Vince and Shawn have no bad blood. I think wat we saw last night though, with Michael Cole saying, if your not down with that we got two words for ya was exactly wat we saw with the Stone Cold thing a couple weeks back, its just a teaser. 7/27/10 10:58 AM |
