Poll Data from http://www.fourdown.org
(WWE) Which of the following wrestlers would you most like to see turn heel?
This poll ends on 01/16/2009
Overall Percentages:
John Cena : 30.99%
CM Punk : 19.72%
Triple H : 13.62%
Jeff Hardy : 9.39%
Batista : 8.92%
Finlay : 6.57%
Undertaker : 5.63%
Matt Hardy : 5.16%
1. John Cena - Doesn't surprise me too much. A lot of us are sick of the way his promos
are scripted and we would much rather see him back in the role that was enjoyable to us.
But Cena does a great job delivering his lines, and if WWE Creative took a bit of how CM Punk's promos are scripted and transfer them to Cena, I think we could actually get a face Cena to enjoy. And drop the stupid salute, would ya? Do it to kids you see on the street, but it's ridiculous-looking on TV.
2. CM Punk - Another one that I expected to be in the lead, since a lot of people have fond
memories of his old heel character from before he came to WWE. I'd like to see it happen one day, but at least he comes across as a serious face even if he's not always booked as well as he could be.
3. Triple H - We love to hate him, so let's stop playing games, okay? I think it would be
a great idea down the line. Right now, we've got plenty of top heel talents, but I can see good things in a HHH heel turn 6 months to a year from now.
4. Jeff Hardy - This one surprises me. I don't think his promos would work as a heel, nor
his attire, nor his build. He'd have to play the cowardly heel and I don't see that working.
5. Batista - I was hoping for a Batista heel turn if they were able to do Cena/Batista
at WrestleMania. He's fought just about everyone as a face now, so I think it's time to
turn him. I thought it was time after his series of matches with HHH, to be honest.
6. Finlay - I'd rank him higher in the list myself, but I suppose he's had less exposure
to today's fans. They need to drop Hornswoggle and make Finlay the man who loves to fight again. Finlay vs Cena, Finlay vs Hardy - these are solid title matches that could come prior to the main event on any show and I'd likely be more excited about either of these matches than the actual main event.
7. Undertaker - Really surprised he came in so low. He's been a face for so long and I don't see much else they can do with him at this point. Give him a feud with Jericho before turning him heel, and you've done just about every major face Undertaker feud that's money.
8. Matt Hardy - I'd rank him last, too. The only possible way to have him heel is facing
Jeff Hardy and I don't see much else after that.
(WWE) Which of the following wrestlers would you most like to see turn face?
This poll ends on 01/16/2009
Overall Percentages:
Randy Orton : 25.84%
MVP : 18.18%
Chris Jericho : 16.75%
John Morrison : 14.83%
Edge : 11.00%
Santino Marella : 5.26%
Mark Henry : 4.31%
JBL : 3.83%
1. Randy Orton - This one surprises me. I didn't like him when he was a face, and I'm
starting to like him as a heel. I say run with it.
2. MVP - People are getting behind wanting him to finally win a match. But I also think he's more suited to be a cocky heel, so I'd be afraid a face turn could hurt him even more than the losing streak.
3. Chris Jericho - I think he'll definitely be a face again one day, but I feel similarly about John Morrison - I don't want to see his current character cut short. There is at least another year of solid programs for a heel Jericho.
4. John Morrison - I think he's easily got the potential to be a top babyface one day, but
what he's got going now is great.
5. Edge - He's pretty much cemented himself as one of the very top guys in the company. He could easily become a top babyface considering how much respect the audience has for his abilities.
6. Santino Marella - Are you crazy? He's not Rey Mysterio, I don't see him pulling off
the babyface role with his size. It sure wasn't working when he debuted.
7. Mark Henry - I think this guy has improved so much and I think he'd surprise people
as a face. Imagine Kozlov making a challenge and Henry accepting it - I bet the crowd
would go nuts. He could be a top babyface on either of the top two brands one day.
8. JBL - No shocker here. I can't imagine cheering for him.
(TNA) Which wrestler would you be most excited to see as the TNA World Heavyweight Champion?
This poll ends on 01/16/2009
Overall Percentages:
AJ Styles : 36.68%
Christopher Daniels : 21.61%
Sting : 7.04%
Mick Foley : 6.53%
Kurt Angle : 6.03%
Scott Steiner : 5.03%
Jeff Jarrett : 4.02%
Rhino : 4.02%
Abyss : 3.02%
Kevin Nash : 2.51%
Samoa Joe : 2.01%
Matt Morgan : 1.51%
AJ Styles & Christopher Daniels have a commanding lead here. I think that says a lot about what the TNA fans want to see. They don't want to see WCW or WWE-lite. The majority of the other choices are mostly former stars from other companies.
And it is telling that Samoa Joe has fallen so far due to the way TNA booked him in his title run. And I did hope to see Morgan place higher, he's got potential but I suppose TNA needs to get him away from Abyss for a bit and actually have him look dominating.

| fourdown (fourdown.org) If Shawn Michaels faces Undertaker at WM26, it will be HBK's first PPV singles match since facing Undertaker at WM25. Most likely. | |

| apsouthern (Andrew Southern) @fourdown no problem | |
| fourdown (fourdown.org) @apsouthern I doubt there's any reason I'd need to use the backup. If I need to, I'll make a backup of the scores you entered first. Thanks! | |
| apsouthern (Andrew Southern) @fourdown Just put RR scores in for 4-UP - do you need me to do them again if you're running a back-up? | |
| fourdown (fourdown.org) Getting ready to run the results for the Royal Rumble now. Making a quick backup of the database first. :) | |
| fourdown (fourdown.org) @sagefreehaven LOL | |
| fourdown (fourdown.org) @WWEsAngel_Nef I would love to see Orton set up the RKO with a kick to the gut. The crowd would go crazy, | |
| fourdown (fourdown.org) Orton seems more over in this match than he ever was during his first world title reign. | |
| apsouthern (Andrew Southern) @fourdown Yeah I noticed you'd run them, never mind - I'm trying to keep track of the Rumble as well | |
| fourdown (fourdown.org) @apsouthern I already ran the scores for last week. I want to say I gave McCool points for being in a match, but none for winning. |
