I was pretty shocked to hear Shawn Michaels lay down a challenge for The Undertaker to face him for the second year in a row at WrestleMania! And it got me very excited. The WM25 match is definitely one of my favorites of all-time, and I'm sure they would find a way to top it the second time around.
So I thought it makes for a great poll. Here is the poll that I just put up:

Yes, absolutely - with no gimmick
Yes, but I'd like it to be a gimmick match

No, I'd rather see different matches
I threw in the option about making it a gimmick match since I personally would like to see them set it apart in some way from this year's match. Thinking about the possibilities for a gimmick - well, there is one I would really not like to see happen but has to be considered - a retirement match. I don't want to see either retire just yet, but it's been talked about quite a bit that both men will be hanging up their boots soon. But that gimmick would be a bit of a bummer! So looking at other gimmicks - Hell in a Cell, done that at Bad Blood 97. Cage match, doesn't quite beat out HIAC. Buried Alive, a bit silly. Inferno match, please no. Casket match, done that at the Royal Rumble 98. What about a ladder match? That would mean one of the two of them would have to be champion - and I'd guess The Undertaker. HBK challenging Taker to HBK's match would maybe add a little bit of doubt to Undertaker retaining. And if you think about it - Taker always got his matches against Shawn (HIAC and Casket) - and Shawn won both times.
And then I had to toss in the option if you'd rather see Taker vs Cena, another highly-anticipated match for WM26. I'd like to see it, but it's hard to say there's anything I'd rather see than HBK vs Taker again.
What do you guys think?

realistically i dont think cena could last against taker beacause john cena's repetoire is so limited im not a big fan of cena and i think hbk vs taker would really be aa dream retirement match fior either of them because i think they are a bit past their time especially taker so i think even if it is not a retirement match at mania one of them will retire Posted on December 16, 2009 at 4:31 AM |

I do not want to see this match. HBK would have to lose again because it has to be the 'Taker's legacy after he hangs it up that he never lost at WM. I also do not think any man is anywhere near retiring. I give them both another 3 years at the least. My prediction: The match never happens. I don't really want to see it again. The first match just wasn't as fun for me because it was obvious Taker would win, and I think the same thing would apply again. HBK Taker 2! No doubt a must see match. I was pulling behind HBK last time, and this time is no different. Maybe we could add a little spice to it: Hell in a Cell, World Title Match, Falls Count Anywhere, a new stipulation. Mabye make it...a Retirement Match. Even though id say yes id like to see it. In my heart id rather see HHH/HBK or Taker/Cena9turns heel) Heel cena a miricle i know but that is probs the only way he is goona be able to turn. And as for HHH/HBK i know it's been done. Bt id love to see this again spesh if Trips goes Heel. But to the question. although id love to see HBK/Taker i dont think we will get it, Maybe a pre WM match. But IMO i think it will be either DX vs Hart foundation or HHH/HBK. HBK vrs Taker would be as good match at WM26... i would def include some sort of contract.... but at the same time Taker has won so many already it would be somewhat nice to see someone else win it from him.... bring back someone from the past like Ric Flair to be ref or even the Rock...
