WWE Backlash opening later tonight; WWE draft questions; Fantasy 4-Down Update
After tonight's 3 hour edition of Raw, I'll be opening up Backlash for predictions. It will be the first PPV of season 5 here at the site - so if you're a new user, now's your chance once again to start off fresh with everyone else at a healthy 0 points! I'll be giving out a $25 Amazon.com gift certificate to the winner of Backlash, so even if the card is lackluster, hopefully everyone will be interested in playing anyways!
And of course after tonight's episode, all the WWE Draft questions on the site will be scored. Only the drafting that occurs on Raw will count towards the questions - anything that happens outside of the Raw television presentation will NOT affect the scoring of those questions.
And a quick update on Fantasy 4-Down (which I'm probably going to rename to 4-UP, you can say the UP stands for Ultimate Predictions but it doesn't really matter!), the fantasy sports entertainment game I'll be launching here on the site soon (it'll be free to play and will work very similarly to the current prediction games, with your same leagues and all that comes with it).. I've got the roster builder pretty much complete. All I really have left to do is flesh out some "info windows" (they'll pop up if you click an icon next to each wrestler) that give you the wrestler's stats over the past 4-5 weeks, and then I have to build the screens for you to track your progress from week-to-week. Can't wait to get it done. Hopefully will launch the day season 5 kicks off, though it may not start for a week or two into the season depending on how my coding progress goes.
