WrestleMania 25 Polls & Results for April 2nd

1030 Views

With WrestleMania 25 right around the corner and the general feeling that the line-up doesn't quite live up to the WrestleMania name, I thought it would be interesting to see what changes to the card would make it feel like a more exciting event.  Personally, I'm sold just on Shawn Michaels vs Undertaker, but I have to buy every PPV anyways for the site - and I did even before starting the site - but I know a lot of people are happy to skip shows when they don't think WWE is doing the best job possible to build to the PPVs.

I'm also including the results from the other 2 polls for WrestleMania I put up before we knew for sure what Jericho and JBL's involvement would be.  Can't remember if I'd thrown them up in a blog before, so apologies if I did already.

I'll post back on Sunday with the results from the new poll, though.  To cast your vote, head over to the voting section.

Poll Data from http://www.fourdown.org

(WWE) WrestleMania 25: Which of the following changes to WrestleMania would have increased your excitement for the PPV?
This poll ends on 04/05/2009

Choices:
John Cena vs Batista for the WHC, with Edge vs Big Show underneath
John Cena vs Batista vs Edge for the WHC with Big Show in the Money in the Bank match
Chris Jericho vs Hulk Hogan
Chris Jericho vs Stone Cold Steve Austin
Triple H vs The Undertaker, with Randy Orton vs John Cena and Shawn Michaels vs Edge
John Cena vs The Undertaker for the WHC, with Shawn Michaels vs Triple H
Stone Cold Steve Austin as the special referee for Triple H vs Randy Orton
Shawn Michaels vs The Undertaker for a world championship in a Hell in the Cell match
More celebrity involvement
I'm happier with the current card than I would be with any of the above changes

wrestling predictions @ fourdown on twitter
fourdown (fourdown.org) #whodat WHO DAT! Bret Hart in WWE and the Saints win the Superbowl!
apsouthern (Andrew Southern) ECW scores are in @fourdown.org - enjoy while it lasts...
WWEsAngel_Nef (Tenechia Haynes) @fourdown The crowd was already popping HARD for Orton during the breaks. It was crazy RKO chants all night.
fourdown (fourdown.org) Season rankings are all done now.
fourdown (fourdown.org) If Shawn Michaels faces Undertaker at WM26, it will be HBK's first PPV singles match since facing Undertaker at WM25. Most likely.
fourdown (fourdown.org) Rankings for the Rumble are complete! Now I'm scoring all the free-floating Rumble questions, then season ranks will be run.
apsouthern (Andrew Southern) @fourdown no problem
fourdown (fourdown.org) @apsouthern I doubt there's any reason I'd need to use the backup. If I need to, I'll make a backup of the scores you entered first. Thanks!
apsouthern (Andrew Southern) @fourdown Just put RR scores in for 4-UP - do you need me to do them again if you're running a back-up?
fourdown (fourdown.org) Getting ready to run the results for the Royal Rumble now. Making a quick backup of the database first. :)
fourdown (fourdown.org) @sagefreehaven LOL
fourdown (fourdown.org) @WWEsAngel_Nef I would love to see Orton set up the RKO with a kick to the gut. The crowd would go crazy,
fourdown (fourdown.org) Orton seems more over in this match than he ever was during his first world title reign.
apsouthern (Andrew Southern) @fourdown Yeah I noticed you'd run them, never mind - I'm trying to keep track of the Rumble as well
fourdown (fourdown.org) @apsouthern I already ran the scores for last week. I want to say I gave McCool points for being in a match, but none for winning.
