4-UP: Season Ending Soon, The Brian Kendrick Removed, and Other News
Remember, the season for 4-UP Fantasy Wrestling (and for the PPV prediction games) ends on the 29th of August (the weekend after SummerSlam). If you're new to the game, or didn't want to start in the middle of the season, your chance to try and make it to 1st place is coming soon. Everyone starts back over at 0 points for each new season.
I'm still not sure about season prizes for the next season of 4-UP, though. The first season was never going to have prizes since the game needed to be tested. But adding the game hasn't brought in a lot of new users (or any kind of advertising money) so it's tough for me to offer prizes for it. I would love to but right now if I was going to put my own money into 4-UP it'd be to buy some gifts for all the wonderful admins who have been keeping the game going by helping out every week entering all the data.
I might decide to just do a $25 Amazon.com gift certificate for the winner - just so the winner can look forward to something else besides being able to claim to be the best at predicting WWE week-to-week. But if you're playing now, it'd be most appreciated if you pass word on to any wrestling fans you know to come join in the games here!
Never have to worry about this site going away, though. I plan to run it as long as I'm around. And 4-UP Fantasy Wrestling will keep going as long as people are nice enough to lend their time helping to enter all the data!
Also, to note, unfortunately The Brian Kendrick was removed from 4-UP for next week going forward.
Categories will be redone for next season - CM Punk will get promoted to the main eventers, as will Christian, and many of the undercard guys will move up a rank. The tag team section also needs a lot of improvement, so many changes will occur there. Don't be surprised to see a few people still in the tag category even if they're no longer in a tag team though - since tag teams are so rare right now, it may become a dual purpose "Tag Team / Enhancement Talent" category seeing wrestlers like Santino Marella and Goldust moved to there.
And with the recent addition of WWE Superstars to Hulu, I do plan on adding Superstars to the game next season!

I just started playing since the new season is starting soon and it looks awesome! Some of the ppl in the WWE Fan Nation or WWE Universe leagues should jump over to the new Attitude league for fans of the Attitude era.
