Results for SummerSlam (2009)

First off, I want to apologize for the delay in posting this up here.  I've been sick pretty much all week and just couldn't find a good time to finally get this up here.

A big congratulations to The Truth for taking the 1st place spot and the $50 prize! 

For the Cletus Challenge, I reigned supreme defeating both nelon27 and brotherofdestruction!  I think I may have promised to take on someone else at the PPV, but being sick I was unable to squeeze you in.  Please contact me again and I'll make sure you're at the top of the list for the PPV of your choice!

This was the last PPV of season 5, but of course prizes for the end of season will not go out until the season is officially over this weekend.  I'll post another blog shortly with more details on what to expect in season 6!

When I first ran this with "Yes - interference", a few people questioned that a random fan running in would actually count as interference.  Obviously, since Raw, we know it was not a random fan, but regardless - a random fan run-in WILL count as interference if it ever happens.  You can't convince me that a fan run-in doesn't interfere in a match, even if it's not scripted to happen.  Anything can happen in WWE!

This was the other one that some people questioned me on.  There was a video package that included Batista.  However, the question clearly asks "make an appearance AT SummerSlam" - the key words really being "appearance" and "at" - Batista never appeared at SummerSlam, he appeared in a video package shown on the broadcast, but that is most definitely not the same thing.  In the future I will try to add a note to clarify this for everyone, but I don't think it warranted the question being thrown out and I don't think it's unfair in the least.  I apologize to those of you who may have picked Batista thinking he'd be shown in a video package, but if you thought that, you should have also picked many of the others as in WWE's opening montage before every broadcast, they show a number of past and present stars and I don't see how that would be construed any differently as it is also part of the SummerSlam broadcast.
