Prize for 4-UP Fantasy Wrestling - New Players Eligible to Win

We're going to be giving away a $25 Amazon.com gift certificate to the player who wins the game week starting this Sunday.  This is always tricky to explain properly - but the game week starting this Sunday (which includes the Hell in a Cell PPV, and ends the following Saturday) is the week you can currently pick your roster for.  So if you want to be eligible to win, you need to make your pick anytime from now until this Saturday at midnight Eastern.

The prize will go to the winner for just that week - not the person with the most points cumulatively for the season.  So if you haven't played 4-UP before, don't worry - you have just as much of a chance to win as the existing players.  Rarely will we give out prizes in this way, typically they will only be awarded to the person who has the most points in the season - but once per season from now on we will do this early on, since it can help attract new players to the game.  (which will hopefully allow us to end up giving out bigger prizes to season winners down the line) 

Now - in the event of a tie (which surprisingly seems to not happen often in 4-UP), we WILL go to your season score as the tie-breaker.  It will be handled similarly to the way tie-breakers are handled in the prediction games.

So..  you want to join in on the fantasy wrestling game to try and win the prize..  what do you need to do? 

You need to register here at fourdown.org - just click the register link at the top of the page (or click here) and fill out the details.  It's free, the only things you need to provide are a valid email address, a username, and your date of birth.

You'll receive an email from the site with a link for you to click.  You have to click it in order to activate your account.

Once you've done that, you'll be logged into the site automatically.  Just click the 4-UP link on the left of the site (or click here) to go to the fantasy wrestling section of the site.

Then all you have to do is pick your roster for the week of October 4th!  You can find links to how scoring works right there on the page, and there are plenty of ways to see how each wrestler has done in the past, if you want to really analyze the data and make the best picks possible. 

And of course, once you've set up an account, you might as well enter your predictions for WWE's Hell in a Cell PPV and TNA's Bound for Glory PPV - the winners of each of those shows will also be receiving a $25 Amazon.com gift certificate.
