Season 9: The Winners!

Season 9: August 23rd, 2010 to December 26th, 2010

The site has now officially switched over into Season 10, so it is time to announce the big winners from this past season.  We award prizes in 4 major categories - 3 from our prediction games and 1 from our weekly 4-UP WWE Fantasy wrestling game.

The Overall Winner is the person who scored the most points in all of our prediction games - both WWE and TNA!  Congratulations to AmbitiousPudding, who won with a substantial margin!

The WWE Winner is the person who scored the most points in the season only taking into account WWE PPVs and questions.  Since AmbitiousPudding won Overall, and we do not award multiple prizes to one player in our season-ending awards, PrfBrain lucks out and takes home the WWE prize!  (though certainly AmbitiousPudding is the true winner!)

And this should be obvious now, the TNA Winner is the person who scored highest only counting the TNA items on the site.  This was extremely close - possibly closer than in any past season - whitelion100 and Scatman BOTH scored 488 points, but this isn't a tie - whitelion100 answered exactly 1 more question correctly during the season.  So congratulations to whitelion100!

The Big Winner of our 4-UP WWE Fantasy Wrestling game is the player who earned the most points over the entire season of the game - every week each player earns points based on a roster of wrestlers chosen by the player, so the winner is the player who was able to make the best choices week-to-week for his own roster.  Big congrats to NeedRepairs, who won with a pretty big lead!  He is also our first two-time 4-UP season winner!  (and was our first - and still only - two-time Overall Prediction Game season winner, too!  this guy is a machine!)

So congrats again to the players who will be receiving prizes: AmbitiousPudding, PrfBrain, whitelion100, and NeedRepairs!  You should be receiving your prizes at the start of this upcoming week!
