The edawg32 show episode 14 ~7/21/10~

****This is posted a day earlier because I just found out I will be leaving the state for the rest of the week, so this is the edawg32 show earlier.****

Hello again everybody and welcome to the edawg32 show! This is the 14th episode and on this episode Dick & John will discuss the following:
-Money In The Bank thoughts,
-What WWE's future plans could be,
and
-The Most Underrated and even Overrated WWE Champions in History!

Without further speaking lets send this one onto to Dick!!!!

Topic 1: Money In The Bank

D: Thanks so much edawg!!! It feels wierd being called in a day early lol, but were here and ready to go, you ready partner?

J: Ohh yea Dick, here we go!!

D: Alright well WWE hosted there PPV Money In The Bank this past Sunday which saw a new World Heavyweight Champion in Kane crowned and he also won the Money In The Bank, so what are your thoughts?

J: Well I think not only myself but many others were just waiting and waiting for Kane to get a push to the World Heavyweight Championship and he finally did. I think it was a last minute descision however because why have Rey Mysterio win the championship at Fatal-4 Way? Yea maybe to show every championship changing hands, but the thing that makes me most mad about Money In The Bank is Rey wrestled a hell of a match and pretty much got robbed.

D: Pretty interesting thoughts. Any other thoughts you had about theh PPV?

J: I like The Miz winning Money In The Bank, and I'm guessing that would be why they kept R-Truth out of the Money In The Bank, was to give a little bit of edge towards winning the contract. I look way back to when The Miz won back the United States Championship. I'm thinking with the Raw creative team switching up, The Miz got a big push and I'm sure the WWE wants to do something they've never done before and that's have a man hold the WWE Championship and the United States Championship at the same time.

D: Well I thought there was a good chance of that happening when Jeff Hardy was Intercontinental Champion and faced WWE Champion Randy Orton back in the day.

J: Exactly, but The Miz is the future. I would also like to point out that again The Nexus didn't suprise me at Money In The Bank and I guess it made for the best ending, but I'm expecting Nexus to not last much longer with this match at SummerSlam coming up, maybe they'll just go till Survivor Series.

D: So there ya have WWE, He isn't impressed with Nexus yet lol.

J: It's not that I'm not impressed, I just wana see something better you know.

D: Yea I here ya. What is you overall rating for the PPV out of 5.

J: I would say 3.9, it was a very good PPV, just didn't like two Diva's matches, but a good show never-the-less.

D: Alright well let's move on!!

Topic 2: Future Plans

D: Well we saw that Randy Orton is now the #1 cotender for the WWE Championship at SummerSlam. Two questions for ya, one does Orton win the championship? and two who will be the WWE Champion?

J: To answer your first question, I could see it going either way. If Sheamus is the WWE Champion, I can see him dropping the belt to Orton and winning back until Triple H returns. However if The Miz is the WWE Champion, The Miz will win somehow, someway.

D: Alright well who will be the WWE Champion?

J: I would keep the strap around Sheamus for now. Have The Miz hold the briefcase for awhile I mean, that's what I wana see, someone who actually holds the briefcase longer or as long as Edge did when he won it the first time.

D: That's true, it's been awhile since we've seen that John. Now what does the WWE have planned or what do you think should be planned?

J: Heres what I think:

Randy Orton def. Sheamus at SummerSlam
Sheamus def. Randy Orton at Night of Champions
Sheamus def. Randy Orton in Hell in a Cell at Hell in a Cell
The returning Triple H def. Sheamus at Bragging Rights
Triple H def. Sheamus at Survivor Series and maybe some specialty match
Then maybe two months later or so The Miz def. Triple H and wins the WWE Championship. This is what I think should happen and maybe The Miz walks in to WrestleMania WWE Champion.

D: Those are some interesting plans John. So let's move on!

J: Yes we shall!!

Topic 3: The most underrated and overrated WWE Champions

D: As we all know, Sheamus is the 100th WWE Champion so with that note, by request, we will talk about the most underrated and overrated WWE Champions in history. So John give me your top 5 underrated champions.

J: Alright here's the list:

5. Diesel~I thought Diesel had a lot of potential in his younger days and of course we all know him as Kevin Nash now, but let's think about it, when he was young he had a real chance.

4. Eddie Guerrero~I was dissapointed when Eddie lost the WWE Championship, because i was so shocked that he won it in the first place. Eddie was a great champion and unfortuatley didn't have another titile reign.

3. Ultimate Warrior~I know the Ultimate Warrior was a very wierd story, but after he beat Hogan to win the WWE Championsip, he kinda snuck out of the race forever to become WWE Champion again. He was a great in ring competitor and was underrated.

2. JBL~As much as I hated him winning the WWE Championship, he's still one of the most underrated. JBL always found away out, even if it was by cheating, he kept winning until Cena came around, but JBL also fell of the pendelum for awhile after Cena beat him.

1. Sid~This man definatly deserves this spot. Sid had so much potential and probably still does and after he was able to overcome Shawn Michaels & Bret Hart, WWE never used him to his full potential after winning two WWE Championships.

D: Alright John how about the most overrated WWE Champions.

J: Here's the overrated list:

5. Ric Flair~I don't believe I'm putting this guy on here, but Ric only won 2 WWE Championships and he did all this bragging in WWE about how he was a six time World Champion, so I'm saying Ric Flair.

4. John Cena~I thought Cena getting a push was great back then and when he won the WWE Championship, I never expected him to be one of the most contraversal and most popular superstars and on top of that the face of the company. Cena is a bit overrated and it is becoming quite expected as to when he wins the championship.

3. Triple H~Ok Triple H is pretty much overrated because he's the son-in-law of the chairman. Hey I like the fact that he's won the WWE Championship, but because he's married to the bosses daughter, he's getting a push for that.

2. The Rock~Now this one I am for sure about. The Rock would have so much build up to winning the WWE Championship and then he wouldn't even hold the title that long. It was a waste of build up and now all is WWE talent is wasted on movies when he was the future.

1. Hulk Hogan~Hogan in my mind was amazing to watch but all in all, he was the worst gimmick ever. He was kinda the savior for Vince McMahon when he didn't want a PPV like WresleMania to end with a dirty superstar winning, he'd throw in Hogan to win the championship. To me, Hogan was very overrated as champion.

D: Well there ya have it, John runs em' down. I really liked the list lol. You think you'll take some criticism for this?

J: Oh yea thats for sure, but he i'll take it, and John Cena is my favorite superstar and he's on my overrated list lol so get a look at that. It's a great topic to talk about. However to me John Cena is in the top 10 list on best WWE Champions off all time as well, so yea.

D: Ohh now who would be #1 on that list?

J: I'm going with Bruno Sammartino lol, he was a great first champion and he's had some long championship reigns.

D: Alright well let's move on to the tidbits!!

Little Tidbits

Summerslam News
D: Now there are spoilers on what the World Heavyweight Championship match will be at SummerSlam posted on the internet and i'll post it in the Spoilers sections as well.

Raw's rating
J: Well Raw drew a 3.4 rating this past week, I thought it was higher, but that's what it is.

Bret Hart
D: I'm pround to say not only did he return to Raw, but Bret will be getting married this weekend so be on the lookout for that.

Morrison/DiBiase
J: Well hey expect this fued to go awhile as it may result in one of them winning the United States Championship by Night of Champions.

D: Alright well onto edawg32 and what happend on this day?

What Happened On This Day?
Thanks Dick, well since this was suppose to be posted on July 21st, on that day in 2002 The Rock defeated Kurt Angle and The Undertaker in a triple threat at Vengeance to win the Undisputed Championship.
