WWE Gamma 2.0 SmackDown 9/28, Week 123

The theme song Know Your Enemy by Green Day is played as the pyro goes off. We are in Buffalo, NY and this crowd is on fire here tonight!

GM Booker T comes out to kick off the show to a massive pop. He says he has a major announcement regarding the WWE Championship Match at Hell in a Cell. He says that after what he saw in the main event last week, he has decided that the Nexus will indeed be band from ringside. The crowd loves this. This brings out Wade Barrett and his Nexus. Barrett says fine, that's just fine but there's a new stipulation for this match. You see Booker I sent in a formal complaint to the WWE Board of Directors and they have sent me this letter back. It states and I quote "If Sheamus loses the WWE Championship to Wade Barrett at Hell in a Cell, Booker T will indeed be removed of his duties as General Manager". Barrett and the Nexus laughs as the crowd boo's. Booker begins walking out but then stops and turns. He says Barrett can laugh now but tonight he won't be laughing as he is putting him in the main event against Randy Orton. The crowd cheers! What a match tonight!

Heath Slater def. Justin Gabriel to retain the Cruiserweight Championship. A great match here but it ended when Slater got a roll up win using the tights. The crowd hated this as Slater escaped tonight.

John Cena's music hits and the crowd gives him a huge pop! Cena comes down to the ring and grabs a mic as he seems mad. He says now last week he had almost won against Wade Barrett but thanks to Alberto Del Rio, he didn't. Cena is irate and demands a match with Del Rio tonight. This brings out Cody Rhodes. Rhodes gets in and says that if he gets a match with Del Rio, he wants a match with Rey Mysterio. This brings out Del Rio who states Cena won't get his match tonight. Del Rio gets in the ring and him and Rhodes just look at each other and begin to beat down Cena but Rey Mysterio comes running out and evens the odds as Cena and Rey clear the ring! Teddy Long then comes out and says Booker T has made a tag team match for tonight, John Cena & Rey Mysterio against Alberto Del Rio & Cody Rhodes! The crowd loves this! What a match for later tonight.

Tamina Snuka def. Natalya with the Superfly Splash. Alicia Fox was at ringside for the match and afterward gets in the ring and wants to hit Tamina with her Diva's Championship but Tamina turns and catches her before she does and Alicia just runs out as Tamnia gets this sick smile on her face! Is the champion afraid of Tamina?

We see Percy Watson interupt JInder Mahal in the back. Percy tells Mahal, let's settle this, once and for all tonight. Mahal agrees! Well that match is next but meanwhile we see a limo pull up and out steps Paul Heyman! Oh man, Heyman is here tonight!

Percy Watson def. Jinder Mahal after the Percycution. A great match here. Afterward, Brodus comes out and celebrates with Percy. A nice win for Watson.

We see Ezekiel Jackson in the back reading a magazine when Kofi walks in. He asks Zeke what's going on? He hasn't answered his calls or anything? Zeke just stares at him. Kofi says your really letting what JTG said get to you? Come on man, I told you. This, this team it comes first. I promise you. Zeke then kind of snaps out of it and says alright alright. Kofi and Zeke walk out together when JTG interupts them. He says well Kofi, because of my impressive vitory over you last week, I will get a shot at the Intercontinental Champion against you next week. Kofi wants to pound him when Zeke stops him. Zeke says JTG, you want to beat my partner? You have to go through me first tonight. The crowd cheers! Well it's Zeke against JTG next!

JTG def. WWE Tag Team Champion Ezekiel Jackson after the Shout Out. During the match, Zeke was rolling but he ended up just freezing and looking over at Kofi at ringside and then he turned around right into the Shout Out. Kofi gets into to check on Zeke but Zeke just pushes him out of the way and leaves. What is going on with Zeke?

Paul Heyman is walking in the back and has a folder with him and walks in by Booker T's office. He tells Booker that in his hand is a lawsuit against the WWE in which he will file if he is put in the Hell in a Cell Match at Hell in a Cell. The crowd boo's and Booker looks it over. Booker says he is offically removing Paul Heyman from that match. The crowd boo's as Heyman smiles. Well non the less, we see John Cena & Rey Mysterio in the back talking stategy as there match is next!

John Cena & Rey Mysterio def. Alberto Del Rio & Cody Rhodes via DQ after Cody Rhodes nailed Rey Mysterio with his briefcase. Cena ended up coming in and nail the AA to Rhodes afterward but Del Rio attacked Cena and locked in a Cross-Armbreaker as WWE referees came running down and had to pull Del Rio off Cena as Cena is grabbing his arm in pain.

We see the WWE Champion Sheamus walking in back when all of the sudden the Nexus is shown walking and talking him from behind. Sheamus stops and turns around and see them standing there without Barrett but then turns around and Barrett is there. Barrett tells Sheamus that at Hell in a Cell, he will not only take the WWE Championship from Sheamus but also Booker T's job. Sheamus laughs and then says fella, I'll take out every single one of ya if I have to to keep my WWE Championship. Sheamus smiles and walks away.

Well we see Randy Orton headed tot he ring but wait he's interupted by Matt Stiker. Matt asked him what his thoughts were about what happened earlier with Paul Heyman. Orton says one way or another, he knows Heyman will get involved at Hell in a Cell. Orton guarentees that if Heyman gets in his way at Hell in a Cell, he will regret it all. The crowd loves this as Orton heads to the ring to face Barrett next!

We find out before the main event that Booker T has made two more block-busting matches for Hell in a Cell as Alberto Del Rio will face John Cena and Rey Mysterio will face Cody Rhodes! Well it's main event time.

Wade Barrett def. Randy Orton with the Wasteland after Orton had taken out all the members of the Nexus with an RKO to each man during the match, Paul Heyman came walking out and distracted Orton which aloud Barrett to win with the Wasteland. After the match, Orton wakes up and chases Paul Heyman out of the arena! Barrett gets up as all the members of his Nexus are still down but Sheamus comes running down! Barrett goes to clothesline him but Sheamus ducks and nails the Brogue Kick! The crowd erupts as Sheamus smiles. Sheamus then goes out of the ring and under the ring and grabs a kendo stick. He gets in the ring and nails Barrett over and over with it! The crowd erupts as Sheamus roars and holds up his championship! Sheamus is ready for hell!
