WWE Gamma 2.0 SmackDown 8/31, Week 119

The crowd is on fire here tonight in Green Bay, WI as we have a huge night tonight! We have a huge, six-man tag team main event for tonight as it will Cody Rhodes, Alberto Del Rio, & Wade Barrett taking on John Cena, Rey Mysterio, & WWE Champion Sheamus and that's tonight! Michael Cole & Josh Matthews welcome everyone to the show as here we go!

Wade Barrett comes out and the crowd boo's as the Nexus is with him. Wade Barrett gets in and grabs a mic. He says he should have a one on one rematch at Night of Champions, not some six man match that is against him. It doesn't take long as before Sheamus' music hits and the crowd gives him a huge pop as he comes out and grabs a mic. He tells Wade Barrett to stop whining. He tells him if he's going to win the championship, he will do it fair and square as after all the odds are against the champion, not the challengers. Alberto Del Rio comes out and the crowd gives him heat. Del Rio says he's finally getting recognition by being put in the WWE Championship Match...before he can continue, John Cena's music hits and the crowd erutps as he makes his way out. He grabs a mic and talks about how last week, he never knew he would be involved in the WWE Championship Match but he's glad he is because he's sick of watching the games of the Nexus and the whining of Del Rio. Then Rey Mysterio's muisc hits. He says that John is right; Del Rio whines alot, and the Nexus will get there's and that's why he will win the match. He says he may be the smallest, but he has the biggest heart. Then Cody Rhodes comes out to heat. He says it doesn't matter what everyone says. He says I could lose the match Sunday, turn around and cash in Money In The Bank, just like that and win the title. Rhodes then gets in and the ring and holds up the briefcase to Mysterio who he hit last week and Mysterio begins attacking him! Sheamus and Cena battle the Nexus & Del Rio as most of the Nexus flees, inluding Barrett who ran out right away as Cena nails the AA to Del Rio! Sheamus then takes out David Otunga with the Brogue Kick! Rey Mysterio then drop toe holds, Cody Rhodes, hops off the ropes and goes for teh 619 but Rhodes sneaks out of the ring before it can happen. The crowd boo's. Mysterio, Cena, & Sheamus standing tall! The crowd cheers as Mysterio's music plays. We have a huge six man tag tonight!

Intercontinental Champion & WWE Tag Team Champion Kofi Kingston w/ WWE Tag Team Champion Ezekiel Jackson def. JTG. Good, athletic match here. After the match, Santino Marella, who was at the announcers table, gets in and acts like he's going to nail Kofi with Cobra but Kofi quickly turns around and the two dance around each other for a little bit until Santino exits. Well this should be a great matchup at Night of Champions but the Cobra almost striked tonight!

Brock Lesnar's music hits and the crowd boo's as it's just Paul Heyman that comes out. He gets in and grabs a mic. He says last week, Randy Orton challenged my client Brock Lesnar to a rematch but Brock Lesnar doesn't need that match. He then says now Randy, after talking it over with Brock, he has seemed to change his mind, under one condition. Randy Orton's music hits and the crowd cheers as Orton comes out to a pop. He has a mic. He says Paul, I'll do anything to get my rematch. Heyman then smiles. He then says well Brock Lesnar says that if you can win your match tonight, you will get your match with Brock Lesnar at Night of Champions. Orton smiles. He then asked who is opponent is? Heyman smiles and says me, Paul Heyman. Orton then begins to laugh. Paul then says but there's more Randy. In this match, you will have both hands tied behind your back. Heyman laughs at Orton's smile turns to a frown. Well tonight it's Heyman vs. Orton and Orton has two hands tied behind his back! Well can Orton defeat Heyman tonight and get his match with Lesnar?

Diva's Champion Alicia Fox def. Tamina Snuka. After the match, Alicia began to attack Tamina some more but Kelly Kelly came running down and Alicia ran away! Kelly wants to get her hands on Alicia but has to wait till Night of Champions to do so.

We see Sheamus in the back getting ready when John Cena walks in to a pop from the crowd. Cena says he respect Sheamus alot but when it comes to the title being on the line at Night of Champions, he won't be afraid to take it. Sheamus snickers and says fella I don't plan to lose at Night of Champions. So how do you say it fella? If you want some, come get some. Sheamus smiles, pats Cena on the shoulder and walks out. Well tensions are high in this match tonight!

Heath Slater def. Sin Cara to become #1 Contender for the Cruiserweight Championship after he used the tights on a roll up. After the match Gabriel came down and nailed a running enzaguri to Slater! Gabriel then goes up to the top rope and nails the 450 Splash! The crowd cheers as Gabriel holds up his championship! What an athletic match this should be at Night of Champions.

Cody Rhodes is walking in the back when he's interupted by then Nexus (Barrett, Otunga, & McGuilicutty). Barrett tells Rhodes that once he wins the championshp Sunday and Rhodes tries cash in, The Nexus will be there on the spot. Rhodes smiles and just says, who said I'm cashing in? And walks away. Well Cody Rhodes has such a mental advantage going into this match at Night of Champions! We see the team of Brodus Clay & Percy Watson headed to the ring as they take on Jinder Mahal & Tensai next!

Brodus Clay & Percy Watson def. Jinder Mahal & Tensai after Clay pinned Mahal with the big Splash.

We see Triple H headed to the ring as he speaks next!

Triple H comes out to a huge pop. He gets in and grabs a mic. He says that he gave the Undertaker everything he had and lost. He then says people have been asking him if the Undertaker will be back and then says I believe he will. Deadman when you come back, i'll be here waiting for you. The crowd cheers as the Game walks out. Well Randy Orton takes on Paul Heyman? That's right, you heard it with Orton's hands tied behind his back and it's next.

Paul Heyman vs. Randy Orton who has his hands ties behind his back when to a No Contest. Before the match even got started, Brock Lesnar shocked us all and came slowly walking out as Orton is defensless! Lesnar comes out and beats Orton down and nails the F5! Lesnar then grabs a mic. He says, if you want a rematch at Night of Champions, you got it. Lesnar laughs and so does Heyman as they walk away. Lesnar & Heyman tricked Orton tonight but Orton has his rematch at Night of Champions.

Well ladies and gentlemen, our huge main event is next as it's Sheamus, Mysterio, & Cena against Barrett, Rhodes, & Del Rio and it's next!

Cody Rhodes, Wade Barrett, & Alberto Del Rio def. WWE Champion Sheamus, John Cena, & Rey Mysterio. Good match here where Wade Barrett would walk out on his tag team partners which distracted Sheamus, allowing Rhodes to nails the Cross Rhodes and get the pin on Sheamus. Does Cody Rhodes have the advantage at Night of Champions?
